Edit as Response Business: No, I don't think you appreciate my feedback. Your receptionist neither informed us, nor "apologized". It was us asking her after waiting for 15 minutes and she very casually and listlessly let us know that there has been some delay, and said "sorry,". Everything gets solved when you say sorry, right(?!) The optician she pointed that was supposedly going to take care of us had 2 customers, who were very comfortably picking and trying on frames. After the 15th minute, right after we asked about the waiting time, the optician got up and slowly wandered around to pick about 15 frames (I didn't count after 15th) for them to try on. That optician was supposed to take care of our 1-hour appointment? When? 2 hours after the appointment was over?... It's not the problem that there was a delay, it's not the problem that someone actually apologized or not. It's that you obviously don't respect your customers and don't honor your schedule, about which you were very precise on the phone to set up. Had you informed us about the delay and tried and made sure we were taken care of by whomever was available as soon as possible instead of pointing someone who was obviously busy with customers and wouldn't be available for at least an hour, we would happily wait for our turn. And if delays happen because of your modified working environment, then you should modify your appointment durations, too so delays won't happen. Do not try to make it look like it was a misunderstanding or a small problem. It's insulting and it's very bad form. Initial Review: They make people wait for their scheduled 1-hour appointment for half an hour, during a pandemic and don't even inform you beforehand (when you arrive) that there's a delay and when you ask how much longer you're gonna have to wait, they don't even apologize for it. The fact that YOU have to ask how long you'll wait is itself unacceptable. Untrustworthy business.

I've been a client at Insight for six years and have had exceptional care at each visit. I had a very difficult time previously finding contacts that were comfortable and my optometrist, Carolyn, was fantastic in helping me find the right fit. I have also purchased a few frames at Insight with Neil's (and other's!) excellent customer service and experience. My one pair I've worn for the last four years. and they are still going strong. Staff are friendly and competent at their job. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an optometrist or eyewear.

I have been a client of Insight Eye Care multiple times in the last few years. Their location was on Weber Street in Waterloo, and they moved to Albert Street right by the Waterloo Public Library. Their receptionists have always been friendly and very helpful, the parking was not an issue, the place has always been very clean and organized, and the doctors (two different ones so far) have been very professional and friendly with me and my family.

I couldn't be more happy with the glasses I have bought from Insight, the biggest issue being that there were too many I loved…and that never happens! I take my 10 year old son here as well, and he has loved all the optometrists and technicians…they are great with kids.

Excellent service, had a short notice day off work and called, they could see me same day. Great staff very friendly, new location is central Waterloo and adequate parking on site. They have a very large selection of frames, my only negative thought is the prices seemed high but I haven't bought new frames in a long time and I realize all businesses have overhead costs, wages to be paid to staff, maybe I'm getting out of touch.... But I will continue to have my eye care delivered here.

It's pointless to try to buy frames there during COVID. You are not even able to come close to the frames to indicate which one you like. You have to describe it to the attendant, and they bring whatever frame they think you might like to your spot. Its just silly to have all the frames there but don't allow customers to indicate/choose any they like.

Insight Eye Care is simply amazing. But I won't stop there. My wife and I had the pleasure of consulting with Neil and Emmanuel. They were both very knowledgeable, helpful, and (pun intended) insightful. During covid times shopping here is curated, which is far from anything I have ever experienced, but it was highly enjoyable. The consultants present will hand pick a variety of glasses they feel suit you, and provide feed back on how you look in them. The quality of frames are impeccable and I appreciate how they are not your run of the mill frames, but packed full of quality, engineering, and character. You're sure to find something here that will make friends and family say wow.

Definitely the best eye care clinic in KW! Staff is always friendly and very easy to talk to. They are happy to help and get excited about their work which makes for an enjoyable experience that you don't get in many places. Our experience began well, but has ended terribly, with glasses that are useless, if not damaging to my eyes. Service initially was good, price is very steep, with wide variety of options. Glasses were worn for less than a year when the lenses started to deteriorate - delaminating. We have been in twice and called numerous times... no one has contacted us back and I'm left with $1000 glasses that are exhausting to wear because of the delamination. Will never shop here again. Our last visit, three staff were watching a video clip aside the showroom, while we waited for over 15 minutes for one of them to come out and serve us. I rarely write poor reviews for companies, however this one is well deserved. Utter disappointment.

I booked my appointment on line, they sent me the email of confirmation the next morning . When I called them to confirm that appointment later today,no one answered. The second time I called, there’s that girl who only said “hold on” and start to play the ad. When I called them again, that’s when someone finally answered, she said the time was already filled by someone else. She said that she didn’t even saw my information. I have been having escalating problems with my vision and wanted to have a last minute appointment to easy some of my concerns after a consultation with a specialist not associated with Insight. The receptionist who answered the phone was caring, professional and efficient in getting me a quick appointment with an optometrist to help answer some of my questions. I live in BC and was unsure about buying glasses online but Neil went above and beyond providing me everything I needed to choose the right frame. Nice eye doctors. Don't like that I fork out a good chunk of money and they are sticky about giving me my eye prescription numbers. Was in a bind and needed contacts (I was traveling in the U.S) and they wouldn't release my contact prescription... only my glasses prescription (it all had to be "approved' first by the eye doctor....) because I hadn't "finalized" my contacts with them (a.k.a I tried one of their trial contacts but decided not to pay way more for contacts through them....). So because I don't spend my money on contacts there they didn't release my contact prescription.... I paid for it, it's my health info, I should be able to decide what I want to do with it.... Not going back.

I decided to check out Insight after a friend had recommended them to me because of their great customer service. When I called the store to book a frame select I was asked the standard COVID-19 screening questions. This might not seem like that important of information to share however, it showed me that everybody working at Insight wanted to make sure that they are keeping not only their customers safe but their staff as-well. My frame select started on time which was a plus and their associate Celine was extremely helpful, friendly and really listened to what I said when I told her what I was looking for in a pair of glasses. She went above and behind to find me the perfect pair of glasses and I'm so glad that I came here. This was by far the best experience I had finding a new pair of glasses.

I purchased a really cool pair of glasses made by a company called Vinylize. The glasses fit really well and are a great conversation starter. The staff are professional and well-prepared to deal with the process of choosing, and finalizing a purchase. I think the whole process took less than an hour and they are efficient with narrowing down the choices. Compared to other boutiques, they know their stuff! I also picked up a frame and lenses for my daughter. They are really good with kids and I would recommend going there and checking out their selection.

There are a lot of things that make Insight a great business (huge selection, central location, free parking, fancy office, one stop shop for everything vision related, etc) but, the one thing that really sets them above is their customer service. It's very evident that delivering an A+ customer experience is at the core of their mission. The staff are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgable. Their customer records are detailed and make working with them quick and easy. They proactively reach out to me to refill my contacts when I'm getting low (and do it when they have . sale). The optometrist is fantastic with my kids. This is the type of operation that all businesses aspire to be but few actually achieve.

I've been coming to Insight for only a couple of years now but they offer excellent customer service, their staff is very welcoming and polite and I've never had a poor experience with them! Their covid restrictions and policies are well organized and managed. I don't have to worry about them being diligent on proper sanitization, social distancing, and other covid practices. I really enjoy coming to Insight and I've never had any problems with them whatsoever from booking my appointments to selecting glasses, etc. They're very organized overall, but I also love that their staff is much more diverse in comparison to other eye care offices that I've visited over the course of my life! Dr. Graham Berg is very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He always takes the time to explain what he's doing, what the different exams indicate about my eyes, and how my prescription has changed. Unlike any other doctor I've encountered, he regularly stops to ask if I have any questions, rather than hurrying me along. The other staff are also quite friendly and helpful.. This place is great and great selection but i must say WAY TOO EXPENSIVE HERE! too much dispense fees and I got quoted here and another place for the exact same product hundreds of dollars less and exact same everything. They are not the only ones with hand crafted belgium frames but they are the only ones with huge price tags! I have a lot of benefits for my insurance company and I can afford 600.00 for one pair but I am happy I got 2 prs somewhere else for the exact same thing! I have bought there once 2 yrs ago and I pro9mised not to make the same mistake , it never felt right paying soo much money here. Get your quotes first and shop around it's worth it!

Always had good experiences when I have went. Dr. Otto takes care of me all the time. Today I had Dr. Tiffany Sieunarine for a Saturday appointment. Very pleased. Explains everything well and always smiles. The only down fall is the parking. Parking beside the house is kind of tight and hard to back out of a parking space. I would of gave a 4.5 star if google would of allowed it. I would highly recommend this place.

I originally went to Insight in 2019 to get a second opinion on a prescription that wasn't aggreeing with me and Dr. Tiffany was the absolute best Optometrist I have ever experienced. She genuinely listened to my concerns and put my main request first, which I appreciated to no end. I went back this year for routine my eye exam and to get a new pair of frames, and left feeling even more cared for! I was fitted for glasses by Celine, who was absolutely amazing as well, and who I loved working with. She really helped me out and made the entire process such a fun experience for me - I literally cannot say enough amazing things! 10/10 would recommend Insight to anyone looking for somewhere to go to take care of their eyes!

I have had the pleasure to work with Dr. Tim Sloss and Dr. Graham Berg. Both are amazing to work with and answer all questions so that I can understand them. The staff have been very helpful picking out glasses for both myself and my daughter. I am very pleased with everything about them!!
