My wife and I needed new glasses and went to Hakim Optical down the street. The Hakim staff were quite literally useless and just chatted in the back the whole time we were there. I had some questions about their selection and they just looked at us and kept talking. We walked out and were on our way home when we saw Eyeview Optical. The second we walked in we were greeted and helped. The owner (I think), was with us the whole time and was very knowledgeable. He gave us great advice and a really good deal. I will certainly be going back to support him and his business.

Terrible service. They give wrong or misleading information. Glasses broke after two years and I was immediately blamed for misuse. Felt very rushed and pressured. Kept trying to get my wife and I to buy clip on sunglasses when we told them that's not what we wanted. I will never shop there again.

I have used Eyeview for years and have always recommend their services to all my friends. That ends today staff was rude to myself and my daughter. Told us it was sale prices but then jacked up the cost at the check-out saying it must have went over my head when the sale was explained to me. Very unfortunate I will never return here and I will never recommend again.

Recently, they put a rush order in for me so that I would have new glasses for an out of town trip. A friend suggested ordering online, but if something goes wrong, there is no service backing up the order. A few times over the years, I have gone in for minor glass adjustments at no extra charge. I had a great experience at Eyeview Optical in Waterloo, so much that this is the only place I've purchased glasses in the last 10 or more years.They have a wonderfully large selection. Everytime I go in I have at least 15 pairs I like and get help from nice staff to narrow it down. They try to help me stay within my benefit coverage, even offer similar selections that are more affordable. I tend to stick with my high end choice bec options are wonderful. I highly recommend based on my years of great service they provide. Check them out. Christine

He charged me $35 sitting fee for contacts. I've never heard of that one. I didn't go back to buy the contacts based on principal.
