I was amazed at the selection, the service, and extremely affordable prices! My glasses were ready in days and they look great. To add in prescription sunglasses as well, without breaking the bank, is a game changer for me this year. The Victoria store is worth checking out, and the staff are awesome.

The female staff member that did my intake and initial testing was lovely, courteous and friendly. Dr. Ahmed was extremely professional and I could tell that he cares a lot for his patients. He did more thorough testing than I've ever received at any other optometry business. I paid $40 less for an eye exam that felt like I should have paid $40 more for it in comparison to others. I would definitely recommend coming here next time you need to get your eyes checked or new glasses.

I recently purchased a new pair of glasses from Bailey Nelson and I LOVE THEM! I highly recommend going here for your next purchase! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the styles are modern with tons of options, and my glasses arrived in a week’s time. They currently have great COVID-19 safety measures in place and I felt very safe while shopping. They are also dog-friendly which was a bonus in my books!

I visited Bailey Nelson in downtown Victoria last week (Friday). The people who worked there were extremely friendly and helpful. They let me try on so many pairs of glasses (even though they would have to clean them all due to the pandemic). They recommended multiple pairs and even helped me choose which ones looked best. I was allowed to try them on outside of the store without my mask. Very great deal on two pairs, and they arrived in less than a week. 100/10, I would return.

I came to this location to get my eye exam done by Dr Nurudin Ahmed. He was very knowledgeable and polite, and the test was performed diligently. Once my eye test was done, I was able to choose among the wide variety of glasses they have in store. The most nicely surprising part was that for 250 CAD you can get two sets of glasses, which is really convenient.

I am really happy with my whole experience at this Bailey Nelson location. First off, the store is just beautiful, which is what drew me to it initially. They advertise their eye exam and glasses prices right upfront, which I really appreciate. And they make appointment scheduling super easy through their website. The employees were very friendly and helped me pick out a really cute pair of glasses. I love that their lenses automatically come with everything that is normally an "add-on", such as anti-scratch coating and UV protection. You can't really beat the value here. 10/10, would recommend!

I had the most amazing experience at Bailey Nelson, from the initial eye exam to receiving my 4 pairs of glasses. When I did my initial eye exam, it was discovered that I had a very aggressive cataract in my right eye. The staff at BN helped escalate me into the a Victoria Eye Clinic where I had the cataract dealt with expeditiously. I then returned to BN and had a follow up eye exam and ordered my new glasses with an outstanding results. Love my new glasses. Love love love the staff at BN. I will be a returning client for sure. They had an appointment for the same day I enquired which was great as they follow strick distancing rules and capacity (very welcome to see this). As soon as I got there they knew who I was and did all the paperwork and pre checks - before going into Doctor - very quickly. I didn't even wait 3 minutes until I was called to the examination broom and the Doctor was fantastic, putting me at ease as this was the second time ever having an eye test and I'm uncomfortable having my eyes checked. She did the tests, including the eye drops and took me through a thorough examination but did not hurry. Once done, I went back into the main shop area where the staff helped me pick out glasses (fully cleaning and sanitising everything before and after I tried them) and it was actually quite fun. They arranged all receipts bro be electronic so I could claim the remainder from partners coverage. Glasses and sun glasses were ordered and they arrived in a week!! Amazing. Called in and tried them on and they checked all was well - which it was. Loving my first every pair of glasses. I would highly recommend this optometrist, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great attitude and care with a nice range of frames.

I popped in on a whim to check out some glasses and see what frames might look good. To be honest, I had every intention of just trying on and then ordering from a less expensive company online. The selection was great though, and the staff were super helpful & friendly. Unlike buying online, they checked all the specifications for my eyes/face to make sure the glasses would fit. It was a little more expensive, but they had a good deal for two pairs of glasses, and the two pairs I ordered fit better than any pair I've ever ordered online. The glass also seems to be better quality, more clear and durable. 10/10, would go to Bailey Nelson again. Thanks folks!

Such an easy glasses buying experience! Before I went into the store I was able to use the digital tool to narrow down the pairs I was interested in. Then I spent just 10 minutes in the store trying on the frames & showing my prescription, and the technician arranged everything so efficiently from there! I feel I got great value and it was a huge improvement from the traditional experience of buying frames.

A super cute shop with a stellar selection (and the music there is also fab). The staff are super helpful but aren't pushy, you can try on as many pairs as you want and even go outside with a hand mirror to see how the frames look without your mask on. :)

I took a sick day at work so I can have all my medical appointments done in one day. I booked an eye exam with Bailey Nelson for a specific time and confirmed the time with them and the length of the appointment so there would be no complications. When I arrived on time for my appointment, I was told I would have to wait because the client before me was late to his appointment and they gave him my time slot. I was asked if I wanted to reschedule my appointment for the next day! What is the purpose of sending me multiple confirmation emails and text messages to ensure I will show up on time if you are going to give away my time slot to someone else because they were late?! Why am I the one who has to reschedule and not the individual who didn't show up on time for his appointment? Why even make an appointment? Let's all just show up whenever we want, who cares if it inconveniences someone else. Very disappointing.

Amazing customer service! I bought my pair back in February. Trying on and purchasing my frames was very easy and they were ready within a week. Once they came in, the staff was very helpful in adjustments to make it feel the most comfortable for me. I've had no problems up until yesterday when the glasses suddenly broke and the lens popped out. I wasn't in Victoria at the time so I went to one of their locations in Vancouver (Main st). Luckily, the damage was covered under my warranty and I was able to get the frame replaced with my original lens and sizing adjustments done all in under ~15 minutes. It was so easy that I don't mind they had broken, it just feels like a small blip. Looking forward to my next pair in the future :)
