Worst location that I have come across to far in terms of customer service. Our order was delayed and the entire process was frustrating simply because of their lack of communication. Two ladies working there were talking s*** about another associate being on vacation, when we first visited. Should have got the hint of their lack of professionalism and left the store.

My son has a very tricky prescription. We walked in before Christmas - got a great sale price, picked out frames and sent off his prescription in under 45 minutes. This has never happened anywhere else. They managed our expectations on delivery - with a tough prescription we knew it would take a while and we were well-informed of our expected delivery date. The glasses are great, the lenses are light. We're really happy and will be back for the next pair!

This place was so busy only one peson talking who first came and need to wait 20 min. so you can talk to the Optometrist. But she help me giving some other kind of glasses that fit on my face. Theres a lady told me she will call me when its done. But its almost 11 days i dont get any call from them. So i call and ask if my glasses is ready? I wait 10 min. and said my glasses is ready for pick up. Hopefully they can add people that can help whose coming inside the store. Customer service need more improvement..

I’ve been here twice now and seen both doctors. The first time was a regular appointment for my prescription glasses. The doctor showed up over an hour late making up various excuses. Then he didn’t even get my prescription right. I have been suffering the consequences ever since. Fast forward to the second appointment.. I decided to go here again since all of my information was here. Anyway I had some loss of vision in one eye and wanted it checked out. Doctor immediately told me it could be diabetes or a systemic illness sending me into panic. She sent me to the hospital and hospital assured me I was fine. As if that wasn’t bad enough I feel as though I was manipulated into spending money on a photo of my eye when they offered this service for free at the hospital. Despite being a fan of LensCrafters products, for the love of god... find somewhere else! :)

It looks like they care only for making a sale and don't care if you see properly with your new glasses, I went there more then 3 times and every time they try to convince me the the glasses they sold me are the best for me but when I compare them with my old glasses I can see better with the old ones. Will never go back to this place, if do not want to come back and forward all the time to until you get the proper lasses, stay out of this place.

He said call the manager he's gonna back me up. Just look at other reviews and u would wonder how this rude staff have not got fired yet. Absolutely amazing service! I’ve always used LensCrafters and this location is superb. I broke my glasses (someone sat on them) and was in desperate need of new frames. I went to another store prior and they simply told me they don’t carry the exact same frames, so they couldn’t use my perfectly good lenses and couldn’t help. After that bad experience, I decided to try this location because I’d had great service here before and honestly felt like they would find a solution. And they did!! Right away Jaz asked me if I needed any help and I told her my situation and she said she’d try to help me find frames that were similar to my old ones so we could reuse my old lenses. Just her willingness to help made a massive customer experience difference!! And not only did she try and help, but she succeeded and we were able to use my old lenses in new frames. That saved me so much money and time, and I can see!! So, thank you!! I’ll only be going to this location from now on for all my vision needs. I am so so happy with the customer service experience I had with Jaz. :)

I decided to make this review because there were too many negative ones that almost discouraged me from going. Contrary to the reviews here, the services was great. I walked in without an appointment for an eye exam and they made space for me. After the test, I went to check for a frame and I asked a lady for help, she attended to me and respectfully told me she was working on something on the computer and gave me a tray to use for the frames that she would be back shortly. As soon she was done, she came around and helped me in choosing frames. Yea the store is quite pricy but the products are beautiful! Glad I didn’t stick to the reviews ????????????????????‍♀️

I went at the end of summer 2019. They asked me if I spent a lot of time looking at a computer screen. Did not ask me if I wanted to pay extra for 'yellow' coating. Did not advise me about how to properly care for lenses with this coating. Charged extra for something I would have not approved if they actually took 2 seconds to ask me.

I had both a really good time and a really bad time here, so 3 stars. I went to get my glasses fixed one weekend and I waited an hour. Not an exaggeration. I didn't even get serviced. One of the ladies disappeared and never showed up again. The other barely addressed me, served someone who arrived after me, and gave us no indication of how long we would have to wait. I left after an hour because I was certain I'd have to wait another 20+ minutes to be helped at all. It wasn't that busy either. I went again today because I had no other choice and was dreading it. However, in the first 5 seconds of walking in, VJ greeted me with such a lovely welcome and it only got better from there. She was so caring in talking to both me and other patrons and went the extra mile to establish a customer/staff relationship. She was also knowledgeable and helped me avoid future issues. The best customer service experience I've had in years (which says a lot because I work at a customer service center).

After getting an eye exam, and before getting my glasses filled. I asked the doctor if the prism test was completed, and she stated she did the test and did not find prism in my eyes. So I trusted her, because I know this condition does go away on it's own; and got my eye glasses filled to her prescription. I started seeing double vision when driving. She gave me another appointment and actually performed the test this time and of course found prism in my vision. No apology, just a simple, oh yes you have prism. Worst eye doctor I have ever dealt with.... I strongly recommend you going to a different doctor to get your eyes checked as she does NOT do a thorough job. Horrible experience, Horrible eye doctor!!!

If you want cheap glasses, go to LensCrafters. My lens were pitted and scratched after 3 months of wearing them. Even purchased their expensive lens towels. I went back to the store and I was told I didn't know how to clean my glasses. I've been wearing glasses for over 50 years. WTH? Lesson learned and will not shop there ever again.

After visiting many optical centers looking for the perfect frames, I finally found them at Lens Crafters. They really do have the best selection of new and stylish frames. However, I did receive the worst customer service of anywhere else Id been. If you are looking for nice frames, Lens crafters is the place to go. If you want superior service, I suggest getting the lenses elsewhere. They seemed very disorganized in the way they run their business.

Asked about $34.99 charge for Eyewear Protection Plan, on my bill from last month. Response was to point out a $25 "discount" on the glasses. Remained unclear, was their "discount" on the insurance? or on the glasses? If the price IS $9.99. Come clean on that. Just say, $9.99. No snake oil. Otherwise, it is $34.99. UnCanadian where "The price is the price." If you are naive, old, young, you do not get a discount. If YOU "forgot" to ask why they added $34.99, you don't get to pay $9.99 instead! It is "price discrimination," where profit comes from people that do not walk away when value-added is no more than lower-price competitors give. Unforgiveable though, when fair-market really SHOULD mean, avoid profiting from ignorance (the aged, or young, cognitively challenged, uninformed, trusting, pay a higher price--good business, not). *** Lenscrafter retailer says, price for frames, make and sell, is based on popularity, set the price high while we can. As manufacturer they OWN rights to brands, bought it, cost fixed, rather than cost-per-item, to pay brand royalty. Add to that, "You pay more for professional optometrist," seems an insult, when began transaction by charging the max they can. Details. Son 19, visited LensCrafters Oakridge Vancouver BC Jun 6 2013. They said go to optometrist across the mall hall, for test and prescription $95. Back to Lenscrafters to build the glasses, $536.75 1. $575 Lens (line item discount -230), value $2-10, checked that online; 2. $300 Frames (less: $120, for 40% off CP RX SUN - AR, just say $180, don't pretend); 3. 1 Year Eyewear Protection Plan $34.99 ($25 ADDITIONAL OFF), i.e. is it $9.99? and why not? (because if you don't ask, it's not) Subtotal $536.74, "Total Savings $375.00 (yeah, right), and tax GST was only $1.75 (Definition of A racket?) PS How do they get away with no GST? for passing their stuff off as designer? buyer beware went out the window with "seller come clean". "$25 ADDITIONAL OFF." Gal there said, Yes, but you see we give you $25 off when you "decided" to buy the insurance. She said "I always offer the insurance and I always give the $25 off." Sure, sure you do (I thought to myself, "That is your commission, you suckered them? it's yours! hooray.") The customer in-line behind me explained to me, "She is being nice," that insurance is a smart way to go. $9.99 versus $34.99 for the same thing? I don't think that's nice, not nice at all.

Priya and Jodie both assisted me in picking out frames - a task I admittedly do not enjoy. Somehow these two made frame selection easy and enjoyable. They spent several hours over two days assisting me and all the while they were very personable and offered good suggestions regarding frames I may like to try on. In fact, their suggestions were so good I ended up buying three frames and a pair of sunglasses. Priya kindly stayed late to complete my purchase, on a Friday night, though I am sure she had far better things to do than complete my order, but being the professional she is, she never once let on to this. Men, unlike me, you likely won't need hours to pick out frames; however, I can attest that these two gals are equally good at assisting men in the frame selection process. My bf came in with me on my second visit to the shop and in under ten minutes, with Jodie and Priya's assistance, he had himself a new pair of glasses and sunglasses. Jodie is so friendly and charismatic. She made buying frames FUN for us. By the time we got to placing our orders we were all laughing and chatting like fast friends. It is obvious that she really enjoys her job and as her customers we benefited from her enthusiasm. I recommend others go to the LensCrafters location (Near Cactus Club in South Surrey).

Absolutely the worst customer service and service in general. They LOST my insurance paperwork and told me they had to resubmit it. After 3 weeks of waiting already to hear back from them on whether they heard back or not, I had travelled back to the store and they were having to resubmit because they had nothing on file? I told them "No, let's not. Please just cancel it" so I could go somewhere else. After 10 days I called my insurance company and they hadn't cancelled anything! Which meant I had to spend my morning making calls to three different places across Canada to find out what was going on before I was able to call LensCrafters Polo and tell them, again, to cancel the paperwork. This time I wouldn't hang up until I was promised that it would be done today. But I'm still going to be the one calling my insurer and doing all the follow up. I've needed glasses since I was 2. I've dealt with a LOT of eyewear stores, and this is literally the worst experience I've ever had. No promised follow ups or confirmations. Paperwork lost. Customer told paperwork hadn't been done when it had. Customer being told a cancellation would be done when one wasn't. This whole debacle has cost me FIVE WEEKS now. I hope all these delays by LensCrafters don't cost me the price or the frames I do actually like that I do actually want to get elsewhere. In any case, I am NEVER darkening their door again. That's for sure.

Terrible service seems to be he there in reviews about this optometrist. I saw Dr Jamora, and admit, he himself was terrific and very thorough when fitting me for lenses. The breakdown: The reception team. Never in my life have I encountered such snobbish terrible service!!!! I called to reorder my lenses, and was told I would be called back. I never got a call back. When I called again, I was given a lecture from the woman on the phone about needing to look after the customers in the clinic. Was I not a customer?? Did I not deserve to be taken in turn like any other incoming customer?? I snapped after being treated like a low class citizen not worth their time. I reminded her service was HER job, and that she should check the attitude. I hung up. I now order my contacts off of contactsforless.ca. My 3 months of Bi-weekly lenses is about $200. This place lost $800/yr. Go Team ????!

Came to this location to help my dad get fitted for a new pair of glasses after ~14 years. Staff was incredibly helpful and not pushy at all, and patient with helping my dad choose what options would suit his lifestyle for his lenses. They are very diligent with measuring your fitment twice or more if needed to ensure correct fit and still make it super easy to ensure proper fitment upon pickup if there is any issue. Not a bad selection of brands to choose from with decent variation of styles and prices. Overall positive experience with no complaints!

Well It took 20 days to get my glasses because the first time they try to cut the lens ( blue tinted for reflection thingy) they broke them so they send it to another lab to get them cut, then they got the lens but not the frame so they have to wait to get back the frame, plus I was called on Saturday and I was told to go on Tuesday to pick my glasses and they were not ready and then they told me Monday but actually they called Tuesday to confirm they were ready. What is more irritating is the reason they gave me, "we broke the lens when we try to cut them, we didn't know that we need to cut them wet......but that was our mistake....", when I heard that I was like "shouldn't they ask or know how to do something so simple like cutting the lens ? isn't that what they do every day ? isn't that a basic thing to know for a place like this ?" so no, I'm not recommending them. They accepted the mistake, gave me a Starbucks card for 1 coffee and a cleaning kit but I was without glasses for 20 days....

Was there for a walk in, needed an emergency pair of glasses for school. The eye doctor I feel like he rushed the eye exam in comparison to previous experiences at other eye care centers. My prescription in the end was wrong, I said something about it as soon as I got them, but was told that after a few days my eyes will adapt to it. They were wrong and as a result my right eye prescription was constantly slightly more blury than the left. I don't recommend going here.

I stood in line for a half an hour to go inside and have a look at some frames, and when it was finally our turn to enter we were turned away because I didn't have my prescription physically with me. I was intending to come in next week to buy some new glasses and contacts when I get paid, figured I'd have a look at styles today while I was in the mall. There was no sign on the door/windows to let me know this rule, and though there were employees coming in and out of the store speaking to people at the front of the line, no one ever thought to let the other 5 people in the line who may not be carrying their prescription with them that they won't be allowed to enter without it. Would be common courtesy to inform us. If they had I would have understood, told them to have a nice day and left. But instead they just had us stand there with with our thumbs in our butts obliviously wasting our limited time before our movie. Thanks. I'll buy from somewhere else next week. Bonus: Their door said they have a capacity of 16 but including employees there were never more than 6-7 people in there at once.

The staff were very kind and explained the complete process, due to Covid. Every pair of frames that a customer touched are gathered onto a tray and cleaned between customers. You must wear a mask during your visit inside the store. Understandable, and policy requires the mask but that makes it hard to see the frame on your face with half your face covered. Felt nervous about going to get new glasses as I didn't have very good experiences before dealing with the sales people. Walked into Lenscrafters and had an amazing experience! Was approached by Meghan (sp?) and she was the best! I showed her my old broken glasses and asked to see similar styles. She brought a pair of glasses for me to try and they were perfect! I tried on other pairs just to make sure but ended up buying the first pair I was shown. I love my new glasses and Meghan made it such an enjoyable experience. There are lots of styles and the prices range. Was able to do direct billing to my insurance provider. Store was nice and clean and my new glasses were ready in 1 hour woo hoo! Will definitely be coming back for my next pair.

Terrible. I bought two pairs of glasses for well over $600. Within 4 months one pair just broke. I've worn glasses my entire life, and this has never happened before. Not only was there ZERO warranty, but they even refused to fix them! Instead, they gave me the number of someone else who could do the repair (who did the repair). I just assumed Lenscrafters would have better service than a used car lot. Silly me. After buying three pairs of glasses from this location, I will be shopping online or elsewhere next time.

I literally could not purchase what I needed without an unwanted "eyewear protection plan" charge being added. You would think that not charging a customer for something they said they didn't want would be an easy task, but apparent that isn't the case. I'm hoping if I reach out to the head office I might be able to get the plan removed from my bill and the charge refunded, since the retail outlet I purchased from wasn't capable of doing it.

Lack of sensibility. I was here for my eye check up and while waiting for my pupils to dilate I asked the staff for an empty room to nurse my baby. I had been in the back so I was sure they had several unused rooms where I could do that. She said no, I explained I just needed privacy (a chair and a door), “Allison” refused and sent me all the way to the mall to the nursing area. i asked a few times and her colleagues insisted. They tell you it’s not ok to drive when having your pupils dilated, how can carrying my baby to feed him across the mall would be ok? Please train your staff to be more sensitive on these topics.

Optometrist onsite. I walked in and in two hours walked out with a new pair of glasses. Excellent warranty on glasses for children and young adults. Fantastic optometrist and professional staff. I read the other reviews and are shocked at the comment it was an absolute treat to be in the store and be helped. The technology used at the location eliminates many of the possible errors with frames that can be encountered elsewhere and the technicians on site can fix almost any problem quickly, as was the case for me. With my schedule being erratic I was able in a few hours complete my purchase form an eye exam to the final product. I am highly satisfied with this location. 2018 update, from the best to zero. Appointment at 5 the optometrist is 4 hours behind?! Why even make appointments? What happened?

To say I'm bewildered would be an understatement. I waited a year to share this because I was so petrified and genuinely terrified of the opticians. This LensCrafters has easily some of the most unprofessional opticians I will ever see in my lifetime. Both Kim and Shawn were extremely rude from the start and both had zero patience when adjusting my frames. The same thing happened last time, only this time, I was being yelled at and talked down where my sister and cousins had to come over and ask if I was okay after hearing her from across the store!! This is because I requested for her to readjust the frames just a bit more during the time when she is readjusting them on my face. I didn't want my glasses to stay crooked like my last pair at LensCrafters.. and I didn't provoke the lady whatsoever, so I'm clueless as to her behavior, but she really shouldn't take out on me like that. I almost started crying and wanted to run away - that's how bad it was getting. Good thing I had family with me. She toned herself down when they came to check up on me. I'm an adult male, by the way. This was just completely foreign and out of the blue, and I couldn't leave because she held my prescription glasses I payed for. I left prematurely and pretended they fitted comfortably. I came back to have them readjusted because they were digging into my skull leaving red marks, and since their frames have free readjustments. I had Shawn this time, instead of Kim, who was better (only at the start, though). I also inquired about my lenses being defective. My lenses had a severe fish eye effect, seemed completely defective to the point where vertical lines appeared completely warped to look at. Kim told me to keep wearing these fish eye lenses for a week and then she might do something about them (I tried so hard to make them work). Shawn wanted to see me again to determine the problem but when I came back, he forgot, then began addressing me as the problem. After trying so hard to convince myself that they were okay and that I am indeed the problem that they made me feel through repetition, and that this is normal, I realized that this isn't okay, nor right, and I'm positive others can make them better, because I am not the problem. They forced me to see my optometrist again. I've been bullied in my life, but I will not tolerate that when politely trying to get glasses done right by opticians. I took my optometrists advice into consideration, and decided to return the glasses altogether due to the varying issues the opticians are having cooperating and with mannerism. I wish I had recordings. === To keep things minimal (LensCrafters will receive my full story): They gave me inferior frames, bad lenses, bad resizing, and very bad attitude, forced me to come back several times in the span of a month and got annoyed when I did, told me I was the problem and to see an optometrist-who said I was fine and to stay away from this place if they couldn't accommodate my eyes, and when I decided to make a full return due to all of this, Shawn told me they would never serve me again at this store and to never come back, and staff kept talking about me over a week later out loud for customers to hear (my sister who passed by heard them). I wasn't planning on coming back after this, but this truly was a shocking, considering I just wanted glasses and lenses that fit, and to get out of there, and LensCrafters (ironically) couldn't accommodate. I went to Hakim Optical shortly after, across the street, they treated me right. I price matched from LensCrafters and they were able to order the same frames, they accommodated my request for flatter lenses (actually, they just made them right the first time), and I was the happiest I could be, all in a very short time frame. My advice is to come here only for frame ideas, you can order them from someone else and they'll be happy to help. I never thought opticians of all people could behave this way, and the quality of lenses just really isn't right, and it's true. I indeed was not the problem, Kim and Shawn.

I went to Lenscrafter's Woodbine to purchase progressives and reading glasses. I was helped by optician Upinder. Customer service at this location is friendly and knowledgeable. My optician explained the different progressives available. She knew which frames were suitable and most comfortable to use since I have tried progresssives in the past and didn't like them. I went in to discuss purchasing glasses via my work benefits. The lady I was speaking with was very nice but another employee joined in on the conversation and I left feeling like I was a peasant who couldn’t afford their glasses. I was surprised by the prices compared to competitors. Said employee told me how my coverage would barely cover the cost of one pair and continued to say they are a high end store in a condescending tone. I felt embarrassed. Employee wasn’t interested in showing me anything in the store (even the lower priced frames). I got the message that they are high end and I am not a viable customer. Funny how my insurance can get me 2 pairs of glasses everywhere else. If you are not rich, don’t go there.

If it was possible to give a zero (0), I would. I had to wait 30 mins for my eye exam while the office personnel sat around gossiping and the optometrist was in his little office chatting to wife/partner on the phone. Then, when I went to spend hundreds of dollars for a pair of glasses, I got shuffled from one sales "professional" to another; within 15 minutes, I'd explained myself and my preferences for frames to 3 different people. And to top it all off, I was told two weeks' wait for my glasses to be ready. It's now been almost twice that amount of time. This store and the service are absolutely abysmal. Avoid at all costs.

I hate giving one stars. Trust me. But this place is well deserving of a 1 star. I have had nothing but poor customer service at this place. I purchased a pair of glasses and sunglasses here. When I returned 10 days later(someone called me to tell me both pairs were ready) I was surprised to find out that only one pair was ready. They told me they would call me as soon as my sunglasses were ready. 2 days later, they called me and told me my order (after 12 days) was cancelled for no reason. I returned to the store to select another pair of frames. As soon as i got there, the woman working there tells me to have a look around and gives me a bin. I look around and around and around and clearly I looked MEGA lost and like I needed help. I starred down a rep and she ignores me. I had to ASK for help. Finally I am helped and asked to sit down and wait for an optician...so I waited...for 28 mins for someone to help me. I get new frames and my order is sent off again....4 days later, they call me in to tell me my glasses are done. Only to be horrified that my lenses are SO thick they could touch my cheek. Apparently my lenses were done incorrectly. So off they went again, promising me that all would be okay. Not ONCE did they offer to compensate me for coming to their location 3 times with continuous errors. They did not go into depth of what happened or why it happened. They all act like you owe THEM amazing service.Horrible place. Will NOT return again once I get my sunglasses.

Called to make 2 appointments for an eye exam and buy at least 2 pairs of glasses. I was told to call back in 30 minutes because the receptionist was having her lunch....!!! I asked the lady who answered the phone if she could take the appointment for me? Her answer was: “I sell the glasses Sir!”. Really....... So I was more then happy to call Greich & Scaff. Took them a minute and I was booked for two eye exam. Needless to say we’ll be buying our glasses from Greich & Scaff!!! LensCrafters obviously doesn’t care about customer service or customer. Should be a last resort store for you...........

Amazing service and super helpful staff. I went here on a day where the lab made 100 glasses that day already and the lab tech was busy! The manager Dom, optician Sandra and the lab tech working today made it possible for me to get glasses done for me so I can see again! Best place for selections of designer glasses and awesome deal! Really really slow. I came to get adjustments done on my glasses and spent a long long time waiting. There were two people working, and both were with customers, but neither of them even looked my way ask what I came into the store for. However I could see the optician/glasses maker/laboratory worker from where I was waiting just inside the door and he could no doubt have seen me. It actually looked like he had headphones on. I actually gestured to him and said I need a simple adjustment and he simply shrugged and made a grouchy face. After I gestured to the man in the back and told him I just need an adjustment, one of the two workers finally acknowledged me and said only one could do the adjustment. I've been to other LensCrafters (like the one in Willowbrook Shopping Center) and the optician/glasses maker/laboratory worker will sometimes come out and do adjustments if it's busy, or an employee will excuse themselves from the customer they're with to do an adjustment. Next time I need an adjustment I think I will just wear my bent glasses, bide my time and go to the one in Willowbrook.

Very bad Service Went to collect pre ordered Lenses was told to wait, The staff thought I was collecting glasses , left waiting again was told to go next door to pick up my lenses, The door was locked the girl told me to wait outside even though I had a mask . After a while the door was opened , at the counter was a glass screen I asked the girl why I had to wait outside in the cold when I had a mask and there was a protective screen, a Asian doctor came from the hall and asked "what's the problem " I asked him the same question why did I have to wait outside, he told me if you don't like our rules you can leave I asked for my pre paid lenses and I was told no to leave I told the owner I would complain to local newspaper about the terrible customer service, he gave me my lenses and I left. Unprofessional disgusting attitude Do not go here.

Ms. Susan even fixed the nose bridge on my older glasses, and now I have a backup. She took her time to measure my eyes with the latest technology. Ms. Susan said that my new glasses was going to be ready in about a week, but hey, guess what? My glasses were ready today! This is so awesome. Worst service and I somewhat disgusted ! I walked in with the intention of buying frames and sunglasses today and please note this is not cheap stuff . The gentleman didn’t acknowledge or show any decent service until 20 mins later - exceptionally sassy and full of attitude. He was more interested in a getting a drink from Starbucks .Eventually when I asked questions I was given a rude answers and so attitude . He was more interested in doing other things than assisting customers- I needed a new prescription atleast offer and explain the process properly. Pros Traffic control on people coming in and out is well organized specially during this pandemic The entire process is also superb easy and well organized Great selection on frames and services. Products are all high quality All Staff are friendly and very professional. Cons The Eye exam are rushed. I didn't feel like my eyes was thoroughly checked. The optometrist is rushing just checked my previous glasses asked me to read some letters and we're done. Also I didn't appreciate the fact the he have let me waiting for so long because he took his time chatting with his last patient and he have to rush me because the patients waiting became so jam packed. If I only knew this, I just did my eye exam from the clinic beside the pearl vision. Because they will thoroughly check your eyes and would made sure you'll get the right prescription that you need and would give you advice about any medical condition that you might need so you could prevent it. Also most of the products specially the lenses are a bit expensive compared to other brands/store Overall its a good experience if not only because of my eye check up I probably would give it 5 stars.

It only took an hour from my eye exam appointment to when I was walking out wearing my new glasses. Nancy was amazing. She helped me find a pair of glasses that suited me and it turned out to be in the price range I was aiming for. Too expensive for eye exam. The doctor was professional but lacked interpersonal skills. The light was killing me and he seemed agitated by that. If you're a mom and need to get an eye exam done like I did than go here but don't expect any understanding if you lacked sleep because of a new baby, I went to the Superstore for glasses originally and this doc asked if that was in Canada... I didn't even know how to respond. $185 wasn't worth it. One star only because I needed a prescription as soon as possible.

Yelena was very patient and extremely helpful. I was returning a pair of glasses that unfortunately had a glare that I couldn't put up with. I came in very nervous and anxious. My son was there with me which added to my nervousness but Yelena was very kind with him as well which put me at ease. She explained all my options very clearly, we tried several different solutions but ultimately with my son there I began to feel like I should just cut my loses and ask for a refund. Yelena was able to negotiate with her supervisor on my behalf and in the end I was able to get the glasses which I wanted at no extra cost. I was about to leave frustrated and discouraged but because of Yelena and her supervisor I left feeling taken care of and excited for my new glasses. INCREDIBLY rude & unprofessional experience with a supervisor named Faiza. We came in on a Sunday and before we could even tell them what we wanted we were told its incredibly busy and that we should sit down. We gave Faiza the benefit of doubt and asked how long it would take to return something. We were told there are 9 people ahead of us who need to pickup/purchase glasses and are waiting in line. We asked out of curiosity whether we had to wait for all these people to finish just so they could process a simple return and Faiza went off on us and started raising her voice saying that we werent the only customers and she said the following: "yes of course there are 9 people ahead of you. what's wrong with that? Look at how busy the store is". Faiza - You're in a customer-facing role. We all have tough jobs but we don't take it out on the people we are servicing. You need to learn how to treat customers. However busy you are, you cant talk to people this way. Never returning and will never recommend this store. Moreover, the store wasn't too busy - It looked as busy as it was last week when I came in and met the nicest representative!

Received excellent service by all of the lovely staff that helped me at this location! They are very friendly and patient, answering all my questions and giving me the time and space I need to go through their selections. They also gave me a 40% discount without asking (I was somewhat hoping for the 20% off they were promoting and got an even better deal). I only bought prescription glasses / sunglasses here, so I can't say anything about their eye exams - I go to Southpoint Optometry next door (which is also amazing). I highly recommend them!!

I had an eye exam and purchased 2 pairs of glasses (regular and prescription sunglasses). Fataneh the optician was very helpful when I was choosing the styles I wanted, not pushy at all but would check in and suggest styles I might like. I asked a lot of questions and she was very patient and great to deal with! I've also gone back to get them re-adjusted and the other optician was great as well. Gotta say though, it was a bad idea booking the optometrist eye exam on a Saturday morning... They were super busy with several clients and it took over 1.5 hours for the eye exam. It is Yorkdale mall, I should have known better!
