My friend visited them but her experience was bad with the receptionist. She was rude and she told something else during booking whereas her words were totally different. We will never go there and recommend .

Very fortunate to have stumbled upon Dr. Maki’s office. I was just looking for an optometrist in the South end, no fuss. Have driven by his office several times and figured I would try it out. Well, I was so impressed by the professionalism of him, and his team. As a first time patient, Dr. Maki took a his time to get to know me and my health history and concerns. Although it was ‘just an eye appointment’, I was able to have a very informative discussion about vision and the effects that aging/life events/nutrition/sleep patterns and seasonal changes may have. His patience and willingness to engage in a solid conversation with me about my wellbeing made me feel like I was being taken seriously, and respected as a patient. I will be recommending his office to anyone looking for a great optometrist in Sudbury.

I visited there today and it was nice meeting with dr. Jamie but the receptionist was not really nice as she was rude and she told something else during the booking while the visit her words were totally different specifically about the payments even she was not picking up my call afterwords and she picked when I called from another number I’ll never visit or recommend someone to visit here again

LOVE Doctor Makey... unfortunately the reason for the low rating is the receptionist. Never makes return calls. Have been dealing with getting the correct contacts for a month now. I’m sure if Doctor Makey would have gotten my messages this would have been dealt with in a timely fashion (too make matters worse, I live on the island so not so easy to just “pop in” Dr Makey himself was very thorough and pleasant! Didn’t make me feel as I was being rushed.

Jami is very nice and does a good job, however every time I go, he is over 40 minutes behind. Have gone a few times now. He has long social conversations with his clients, which is polite, however at the expense of those waiting. I love polite people, however 40 minutes over is too much. They do support customers really well with glasses repairs and replacement, as I have seen some come in and get support right away.
