REVIEWS OF Dr. Christian Deschênes IN Sorel-Tracy

Michel Anonyme

(Translated) In the spring of 2012, I asked for an emergency consultation at the Joliette hospital because a spot appeared in the morning in the peripheral field of vision of my left eye. Dr. Christian Deschênes, who was the on-call ophthalmologist, refused to come to examine me that day. Instead, he gave me an appointment for the next day. The next day, I no longer saw that eye. Since then, the visual acuity of my left eye has changed forever. Graphological expertise subsequently demonstrated that Joliette's emergency report was falsified in a way that covers the postponement of the consultation with the on-call ophthalmologist. In fact, Joliette's emergency should have quickly referred me to a retinologist so that my retina was quickly stuck on before the macula took off and my central vision was permanently affected. A word of advice: don't risk losing your sight; if you have an eye problem, don't go to Joliette hospital; rather go straight to Notre-Dame Hospital in Montreal.
