Clinic is busy, sometimes waiting a bit longer for your appointment isn't ideal, but I always leave happy and Dr. G is pleasant and professional. It's nice that he is there to answer your questions personally and that staff are very helpful/ courteous.

Dr. Goldberg did my Lasik eye surgery back in July 2021 and I could not be happier with my current perfect vision! The staff at the clinic provided excellent customer service - they were very helpful in explaining the procedure. Dr. Goldberg was very professional during the operation. He was encouraging and optimistic during the pre-op testing and my recovery and excited about the success of the procedure. The clinic is in a pristine condition, following all the COVID guidelines. During my recovery I used Hylo Dual Intense Lubricating Eye Drops (Candor Vision) which was suggested by Dr. Goldberg, and I continue to use them especially when I'm working long hours infront of the computer screen. Dr Goldberg changed my life! I've worn glasses since the age of 7 and my prescription was always very high. I couldn't see beyond a foot in front of me (if that) and this was always something I was self conscious about. I've wanted laser vision correction for years but was told by several eye doctors that it likely wouldn't be an option for me (enter Dr Goldberg and his team with their amazing level of care and expertise). I can now see without glasses. My migraines (which were a weekly occurence) are gone and I have so much more confidence. Dr Goldberg really shows you he cares about your eyes well beyond the actual procedure, checking on the healing process in person and via phonecall during the holiday season when most would be on vacation. I've seen Dr. Goldberg for more than 6 years now. The staff and he are nice. The front office staff have changed 3 times in all those years. For my first few years, you could wait 1.5h before the assistant saw you. Then a new office manager came and they were more on time. With the third set (now), the assistant would see you on time but you still have to wait at least 30 mins for Dr. Goldberg after the assistants are finished. My worry is that Dr. Goldberg had 2 of his own examination rooms but by the end of 2017 have expanded to 3 rooms. This means he wants more clients to earn more money. There is a large (20 seats) front waiting area and a small (8 seats) back waiting area.

I had my lasek surgery done in August and now am free from my glasses/contacts. The staff at Goldberg centre are all very efficient, attentive and friendly. Same with Dr. Goldberg. He calls to check up on you regularly after your surgery. While the couple of days recovery right after surgery are extremely uncomfortable, within a few days I could see and go about life as normal again. My family member also had lasek done here a year prior. We would both recommend Dr. Goldberg and the vision centre to anyone without hesitation!

Dr. Goldberg performed Lasek surgery on my eyes. It is such a delicate proceed and I would not trust anyone else to do it but him. He talked me through the entire procedure and explained step by step everything he was doing to my eyes. My only job was to stare at the red light and he made me feel like a rockstar doing it. I have been wearing glasses for the past 30 years and it finally ended with a visit at Goldberg Centre Vision. Although for years I contemplated the thought of laser eye surgery for some reason I had reservations about taking that step. As a photographer/videographer I take my eyes very seriously as anyone should. Meeting Dr. Goldberg and his team inspired great confidence and after learning the benefits of Lasek over Lasik, it was a no brainer. I was a customer of Dr. Goldberg just before the pandemic started. I had been looking into Laser Vision correction for years but I had very bad astigmatism and my vision was terrible in both eyes ~ -7. I had been to the 'orientation' with a number of the other large clinics in Toronto and paid for the initial consults. I was a candidate, but I never felt comfortable and I always was made to feel like a patient number. This all changed the moment I visited Dr. Goldberg and his team. From the moment I first arrived, I felt respected and was treated better than I could ever imaging. The entire process was professional and I felt like I was involved in every step. I loved the fact that from initial consult, testing, surgery day, follow-up appointments, phone calls over the weekend post surgery, and even still today Dr Goldberg himself is involved in my care and there to address any questions. If you are even thinking about Laser Vision Correction, then you owe it to yourself to make a trip and visit Dr. Goldberg & his professional team! There were many closer options to downtown for me, but none match the value and experience of Dr. Goldberg! I am happy to say that even a year later I am still able to see better than 20/20!

After so many years of contemplating whether or not to get laser corrective surgery, I finally made the decision to get it done at Goldberg Centre and wish I had done it sooner. I had gotten two consultations at two other places until I finally ended up here where it felt more than just a business where they were only interested in making money off of the clients/potential patients. My first visit I was greeted by Nishant who is the medical consultant and he was and is always extremely professional and pleasant to speak with. He is an active listener that understands your concerns and has answers for any questions you have. He’s always been very responsive and I always look forward to seeing him. Dr. Goldberg is very kind and was also very informative with any questions or concerns I had. He always has a calm nature that helps with any anxiety or fear you may have prior or during the procedure. I chose this clinic because of the non-invasive procedure they offer and my overall experience from start to end of my surgery and continuous follow-ups. I have already referred and had 3 of my friends who also got their laser corrective surgery done at this clinic following my procedure, and although the recovery time and experience was different for all of us, I can confidently say that they are all happy with their decision to do the surgery here at Goldberg Centre. I highly recommend you get your laser corrective surgery done at Goldberg Centre! My only regret is not doing it sooner. My life has completely changed for the better.

My dad has been going to Dr. Goldberg for over a year. His admin staff keep rebooking checkup appointments and my dad sometimes is not event aware. His most recent appointment I went to, the doctor had not received any of my dad's examination information so it was waste of 2 hours we waited and was still got charged. The correct process for this type of work is to first make sure they have recieved his examination information so the doctor has something to look at. Without any consultation, they just rebooked him for another appointment without asking if he needs it or not. It is just a push to get an appointment through so they can charge you. The doctor is credible specialist. However, before going to him, make sure you know what you want. Do your research, have all your information with you. Never just accept what the receptions say and do, always question it and demand a thorough explanation.

I've had an excellent experience The procedure was quick, with minimal discomfort and the staff were welcoming and courteous. It's been about a month and a half and I have better than 20/20 vision Dr Goldberg is a great doctor and honestly cares about his patients. One thing to note is he speaks very superfluously so if he says "you are doing excellently" he just means you are doing well.

I'm not one for reviews, but I had to review this since I also read many reviews online. I went to a consultation at both Bochner and Lasik and nobody made me feel as comfortable as when I came to Goldberg and met with Melinda and Angela. Amazingly friendly staff. As for the procedure and results... I wore glasses for 17 years. May 8, 2017 at 4:53 PM I sat up in the chair and I could read the time on the clock clearly. I have 20/20 vision and I couldn't be happier. I'd recommend Dr Goldberg to anybody who would listen. He also makes pretty funny jokes too which I for one appreciated. Getting vision correction is a major investment and I encourage you to still do your due diligence and research the competitors. However, trust me when I say that Dr. Goldberg is fantastic and is definitely a leader in the field.

Terrible! Dr Goldberg is unable to do cataract surgery as I was advised on my second visit. This is for my wheelchair bound, 92 year old mother who is almost blind because of cataracts! A very well known eye surgeon was willing to accept mom as a patient but Dr Goldberg REFUSED to give a referral. Also heard 2 staff complaining about cockroaches! Total lack of compassion by Dr.

There is absolutely no risk whatsoever to doing this lasek procedure. You will not go blind regardless of any problems or complications. It is impossible. This man and his team have gone from providing me with vision aids to completely healing my vision via their LASEK procedure. Dr.Goldberg is kind, generous, and I think he might be the best LASEK expert in the city or in the province if not in the country. I was going to give a three stars for having difficcult times reaching an admin via the phone considering I live in Niagara Falls (I telephoned multiple of times in the office hours but I got only answering machine answers; multiple of times). Nevertheless, more important is dr.Goldberg's kindness, generousity and expertise, I'd still give 5 stars. Approximately my eyes surgery took place in the beginning of October and so far there's no major discomfort/obstacle; so far the bottles of tears (perscriptions) the doctor gave me are doing my eyes better. I could already swim with goggle as advised by the doctor on when I could swim.

**I've updated my review 7 months later because I'm absolutely loving my vision and have to share! Edit is added in at the end.** Dr. Goldberg is fantastic. He has a warm and gentle manner, and I was immediately confident in the level of care given at his clinic. I visited other big names in vision correction before coming to see Dr. Goldberg, and he was hands down the doctor I trusted the most. They were able to book me in relatively quickly to fit my surgery into my busy school schedule. The amount of information given was enough to answer almost all of my questions leading up to the procedure, and everyone involved was more than happy to respond to my additional questions and concerns. The procedure itself was quick, painless, and remarkably comfortable. Having Dr. Goldberg coach me through every step of what was happening helped immensely. There was also an astonishing level of follow up, with both the patient co-ordinator and Dr. Goldberg himself calling me in the days following the procedure to check on my recovery, answer questions, and give me reminders of what post-operative care I should be doing. I'm really glad I chose this clinic over the other, more well known clinics. **Edit** I attended one of the last Tragically Hip concerts in August, and was just astonished with how incredible my corrected vision is now. While seated and waiting for the concert to begin, I was able to see clearly across the interior of the ACC, through the concourse on the other side of the arena, out onto the street through the glass doors, and pick out a Canada Post truck passing by without so much as a squint. The show itself was perfectly clear (with the occasional tear), and it's a memory that I'll treasure for the rest of my life in perfect clarity. I couldn't be more grateful to Dr. Goldberg.

I had Lasek Eye Correction procedure done in September 2015 by Dr. Goldberg and it was the best decision I've ever made. My only wish is that I did it in my 20's instead of waiting till my 30's. Dr. Goldberg is one of the nicest most caring doctors I have ever dealt with. I was so nervous during the procedure but Dr. Goldberg helped me to calm down and relax. Not to mention, the procedure itself was really quick and painless. The staff at the Goldberg Centre are very friendly (especially Kate). Having this procedure done has changed my life in such a positive way. I would like to thanks Dr Goldberg. I did LASEK ( Blade less) eye surgery. It was very short and painless. Just after surgery I was able to see correctly ( it was under water experience) and after 2 days all good. There are 100% correction comes as soon as cornea heals. 99% after 2days and 1 % will take few weeks but its amazing experience. No need to look for glasses in morning. No worry while play and run and rain and drive and do whatever you want to do. Dr Goldberg is not only a Doctor he is next to a god who take your care very gently and responsibly. He saw me on priority. For him patient is highest priority. I was lucky that I got him here :) We cant buy everything from Money and Dr Goldberg is that Gem.

i would put a zero for the type of service i got from the goldberg centre i had cool sculpting done a while back, In which I was told by Christine on my consultation that I had 10 sessions was charged $5000 dollars. And after I had my second treatment they told me my session was done. I believe the woman's name is Nadi. I feel that all they did was take my money and no results or further treatment was given. Avoid the clinic at all cost just a money scam.

I came to this clinic to see an optometrist. This was the worst optometry appointment I have ever had. Clinic: The staff were rude to me. Timeliness: I was told I’d have the first appointment of the morning. I waited for 1.5 hours to see the optometrist. Appointment: I was only seen for five minutes (seriously). The doctor paid no attention to my protests that I needed longer to determine whether the alterations were clearer or blurrier. He refused to give me reading glasses, saying I was ‘too young’, despite the fact that I’ve had reading glasses for 10 years. By the end of the appointment, I was starting to cry because I was so upset by his dismissive behaviour and being so rushed. He gave me a long story about how he ‘didn’t recommend certain opticians but the one downstairs was rated highly, etc.’. Then he dismissed me and told me to see his receptionist. By the time I got to the receptionist I was in tears, but she just handed me a card saying when my next appointment was. I am never going back there. Prescription: He got my prescription completely and utterly wrong. He got the cylinders wrong by 30-40 points in each eye for my astigmatism. He missed the fact that I need prism in my left eye. Looking through the glasses made me completely sick, and everything was blurry. The next optometrist I visited was horrified at the errors he made in the prescription. This was the definition of poor practice, bad behaviour, and a waste of time and money. I will certainly never see this optometrist again, and I would recommend against ever seeing this optometrist. Surely anybody else could be better than this. 0 stars. I got my eyes properly attended to at another optometrist in the city who gave me a prescription that works.

He is asking for deposit if you qualify for surgery if you don't they won't tell you.he will give you new glasses every few weeks and charge you more and more.very very bad experience. I had vision correction surgery in May 2021. I chose the "mono vision" correction because at one time I had natural mono vision. The first few weeks after surgery were challenging due to my brain taking its time to make the adjustment, but after about 8 weeks, I am happy to say that my close and distance vision is as good as it was 30 years ago without needing any glasses. I can now read, watch TV, drive, play golf etc without glasses. The Goldberg Centre was very supportive through every step and Dr. Goldberg is a pleasure to work with. I unhesitatingly recommend the Goldberg Centre for vision services.

I did a lot of research and had consultations with many laser eye surgery clinics. This one I felt the most comfortable with and loved how safe the procedure is compared to other places. They do not cut into your eye and the procedure is painless and takes only 5 mins, plus there is much more follow up by the doctor so you know you are in good hands. I was always scared about doing this but I honestly I wish I hadn’t waited so long and would highly recommend to anyone who is eligible for laser eye surgery! Within a week I was completely back to normal and had better than 20/20 vision. I approached this laser centre for lasik, wheather i am suitable or not. They charged me $500 upfront for the eaxm and said if i am suitable they are not going to return $500. after checkup they said, i am suitable candidate , but my eyes are little bit dry side. As with lasik eye surgery, the most common problem may be dry eyes and I am a dentist i opted not to go for surgery. Further i am going to get reading glasses they said after lasik. Then what is the fun getting the lasik surgery done. I REQUESTED TO RETURN SOME OF MONEY AS WE ARE GETTING FREE LASIK CONSULTATION IN MANY CENTRES. THEY DO NOT HAVE PROFESSIONAL ETHICS AND THEY DID NOT RETURN ANY MONEY. BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU GO. At any cost they want to do the lasik on you and they want the money.
