Amazing! Came here for the full ocular health exam with Dr. Nhan who was very attentive and super thorough with the examination. It was my first time and he made me so comfortable I honestly really enjoyed the exam. I was referred here and will definitely be back every year. I HIGHLY recommend this office as not only are the Dr's amazing but so is the front desk staff, who not only were super friendly but made me feel so welcomed. If I could give more stars I would.

If you are looking for a new optometrist, than this is the best place to go! Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Office is clean and you see the staff sterilizing everything. Makes you really feel safe to get an eye exam during COVID. They also email you your prescription so you do not have to worry about losing it. That is just an extra bonus. He explains everything about my eye health and all the procedures he conducts in a clear and patient manner. My appointment was not rushed, even if I was the last patient of the day before the weekend. His admin staff are very helpful and kind and helped me order contact lenses without pressuring to purchase anything extra. The appointment booking system is organized and the office follows up to confirm all appointments. Highly recommended!

Paid nearly $200 for an eye exam. Reception assured me the extra exam would be covered so I agreed to it. I should have known since she had no idea what my policy was like but nonetheless, it's not covered and I'm stuck paying out of pocket for something I didn't really have to do. Doctor Nahn was great though.

I recently saw Dr. Bonita Tsai for my regular annual eye check in November 2019 as I could not see my regular doc Mahar Gabarin at Fairlawn Eye Care until early 2020. Very rude and laud voice secretary Shanon. They just cancelled the appointment that I booked two weeks ago and send an email to me that appointment canceled with no explanation and no other time suggestion. When I asked for explanation Ms. Shannon said she called me and left me a massage that they do not have my OHIP no so they decided for cancellation. While I did not received any call from them and nor they had any phone of mine. They also said my original appointment has been booked by another patient. When office behaviour is very bad, dr professionally is in shadow

Fairlawn Eye Care responded to my concerns and have assured me that they will be making sure that patients are always informed beforehand about which tests are covered by OHIP and costs involved if the test is not done by an opthamologist. Everyone makes mistakes. Dr Gabarin is thorough and experienced. The mistake was made by office staff, not by the optometrist. I would now consider returning to Fairlawn Eye Care for my annual eye exam next year.
