I regret having cataract surgery. Paid extra for premium lenses. One eye surgery went well with good results. The other was a nightmare and still is. I feel feel blind, blurry vision since surgery and still one year later. My vision was better before the surgery. They have no answers. They are no help, I have to learn to live like this. I cry often, very depressed. This surgery did not turn out like I was told it world, and now I’m on my own. Do not get cataract surgery.

My wife's cataract surgery was botched by Dr. Wentzloff, leaving her much worse off - a "computer issue" was the excuse. Considerable time and expense were required to have the surgery corrected by Traverse City specialists (Dr. Tannir and Dr. Eby). Dr. Wentzloff's insurer offered a paltry $750 (called a "Customer Service Adjustment") to cover our costs (which was ludicrous)! The insurer went on to say that, "Dr. Wentzloff met the minimum standards so can't be held responsible." Baloney! Perhaps because we live in the UP it is thought we don't deserve anything but 2nd hand equipment and "B-team" physicians. Utterly and completely disappointed in Dr. Wentzloff. Randy Rogers, Brimley MI
