Pleasant staff - just don’t appreciate last minute re-schedules. Initial surgery was fairly painful due to late numbing drops. Follow up surgery finally complete and went much better. Would still recommend, very competent and the process works.

The staff is very professional and put my worries at ease! They explained every step of the process. During the procedure, the nurse beside me was so supportive and comforting. The actual procedure was so quick and painless. Dr. Ravi is awesome at his job, and his calm demeanour gave me peace of mind. The very next day I had perfect vision. The technology is simply amazing. After discussing my options regarding getting corrective surgery done on my eyes (I was -8 pretty much on both eyes), I was referred to Horizon Saskatoon. When arriving, I was always met at the reception desk with friendly smile. We did all our tests and found out I would be a good candidate for Smile. We booked a date and performed the surgery a month or so later. I was very pleased and happy with the information and feedback I got from them. Also very important was the great after care. Everything is arranged in detail and now have no complications and my vision is perfect. I have a very small astigmatism correction left but when I compare my eyes now with back then, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Great company, friendly staff from start to finish. Well worth it.

Went for a consult for laser correction. They did a couple quick scans and after about 15 minutes was told that rather laser correction I should have some other surgery that was over $10K! This really got my hopes down mentally. I decided to consult with other places. Well I went elsewhere and they did a full almost 2 hour consult which included the same scans but also a full on eye exam and more and I would qualify for advanced lasik for $4400. Well I just got my eyes done at this other place and I feel great and it was well worth it. Horizon made me feel like something was wrong with me, as well has wanted more than double and what they told me just didn’t add up. I’m glad I got second and third opinions elsewhere. Seems like a money grab here after only having a quick 15 minute scan.

Procedure went very well, but.. the doctor was rather physically aggressive during the procedure, and refused to give me the additional details about what exactly was going to take place, that I had been asking for, prior to the procedure commencing. I had had a nose surgery a few months earlier, and tried to mention it to the doctor beforehand, but I was not listened to -- 10 months later, I am still experiencing ongoing discomfort issues with my eyes and nose connecting sinuses, with drainage being quite troublesome, still.
