The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because they are polite and friendly, and they submit direct to insurance. Otherwise unless you have at least $500 per person in coverage don’t go here. It cost us over $900 out of pocket for 3 pairs of glasses. To top it off my husband had to go back to have his prescription adjusted - at which point they told him we were now “eligible” for a buy one get one 50% sale. Sorry but where was this deal when we bought 3 pairs a few weeks ago!!!! Every other eye glasses place we have gone to (we lived in Richmond Hill before moving here this year) has always given a discount for us because we all wear glasses. Our last ophthalmologist would give us 2 pairs per person for $200 each - which was within our coverage!!! Rarely did I ever pay out of pocket. I would gladly drive to Richmond Hill next time we need glasses before I go back to In Focus.

The staff at In focus were all exceptional. I was very impressed with my thorough eye exam and thanks to Endy, I learned important concerns to monitor moving forward for my eye health. Nobody else has ever mentioned this critical information to me before. After my exam, I was grateful to have expert assistance in choosing the ideal frames. Endy took the time to choose frames for me to try that would best fit my face as well as optimizing my field of view for my prescription. He recommended transitional glasses for me instead of bifocals and the difference is unbelievable. I never take my glasses off now. I then purchased prescription sunglasses too and I absolutely love them. Thank you so much to everyone at In Focus and especially Endy’s patience and expertise assisting me to finally have glasses that I am happy to wear all day! Be sure to get the anti fog all natural lense cleaner too! No more fogged glasses from wearing protective mask. Another reason I now keep my glasses on. 5 star service is what you can expect here. I recommend In Focus 100 percent.

I am thankful to Dr. Gerry Day, Dr. Mcdonald , and the wonderful staff at in focus eyecare. I was a patient and was experiencing blurry vision for the past 2 years. On the first visited, my problem was identified and needed several more visits to monitor treatment. All the staff was also patient and very kind. Endy, was especially welcoming, professional, and very enlightening. I don't know where I would be without the great work and care given time me. Thank you very much!

This is our third year here and I’ve enjoyed it. Staff are polite and friendly with myself and my children. Easy to make an appointment with and barely a wait time once you’re there... if there is a wait time. They also e-mail you to remind you of your appointment. Staff and Dr. Day are so good with children! (Aged 7 and under) Very playful and a great amount of patience. They work hard to be acomdating and to make sure you’re happy with any purchases or experience. They don’t ever push me to buy anything more than what i’m asking for. Sadly, I do have a few minor complaints. They need a bigger selection in children’s glasses. I’m not knowledgeable when it comes to glasses or eyesight because I don’t have glasses myself, nor does my spouse. Our middle daughter is the only one with glasses. So, because of her high prescription and eye turn.. and also past experience with an optimist. I like to get second opinions, which they seem to be offended by, but they are polite about it and will answer all of the questions/paperwork you may need for the second opinion. They also don’t explain much to me. I have to write down what I can remember from our conversation to research later and gain the knowledge I need. When I do ask questions, they answer but unless you ask... they won’t explain anything to you. I would recommend his services to anyone because I do believe he loves his job and cares about his patients. Just a few minor tweaks and I would give them a 5 star :)
