Over the phone the receptionist told me that I could do both and that the cost is $ 90. She takes me 15 minutes late, makes me take the exam again in 5 minutes, but for one eye, re-tap my stye with a pop-cycle stick and tell me to continue the treatment and come back !! How many times do I have to pay $ 40 before I get a prescription to see the ophthalmologist ?? Why was the follow-up so rushed? I felt she wanted to get it over with me quickly and move on to another client. I hate the optometry department and receptionists. This place is run by incompetent receptionists and the optometrist lacks ethics and seems to want to line his pockets. The only positive thing I find there is the wifi in the waiting room ... Au moment de faire l'examen l'optométriste me dit que ce n'est pas une bonne idée de faire un examen avec un orgelet car il pourrait appuyer sur mon oeil, et donc faussé le résultat. Déjà, j'étais déçue que la réceptionniste ne m'ai pas averti ! Mais, l'optométriste insiste pour faire l'examen quand même et me dis qu'on réévaluera l'oeil après mon traitement durant un suivi. Au moment de quitter le bureau de l'optométriste, cette dernière m'annonce que les frais sont de 130 $. C'est 90$ pour l'examen et 40$ pour la consultation oculaire (c'est-à-dire taper mon oeil avec un bâton de pop-cycle pendant 5 secondes et me faire une prescription pour une crème). L'optométriste me dis qu'elle va me faire une prescription pour un ophtalmologiste si mon orgelet n'est pas guérir au prochain rende-vous. À ce moment, j'ai compris pourquoi elle a insisté pour me faire passer l'examen. Elle voulait son 90 $. J'ai aussi réalisé que la réceptionniste à omis de me dire que consulter pour un orgelet est payant (je rappel qu'elle m'a annoncer des frais de 90$). Bref, je fais part de la situation à la réceptionniste et elle me répond que les frais de 40 $ sont pour les pré-tests qu'on fait avant l'examen. Déjà, je suis choqué qu'elle soit aussi mal informé (elle est en contradiction avec l'optométriste) et ensuite, je me dis que ici, on fait passer des tests au clients sans leur dire qu'ils sont ayant. Et quand je lui demande la raison pourquoi on ne m'a pas déconseillé de faire un examen avec un orgelet au téléphone, on me répond « mais non, ça ne change rien ». Donc la réceptionniste (qui n'a aucun diplôme dans le domaine ) contredit l'optométriste encore une fois ! J'ai payé 130$ et je suis retourné voir cette optométriste pour faire le suivi après un mois. Elle me prend 15 minutes en retard, me fais refait passer l'examen en 5 minutes, mais pour un seul oeil, retape mon orgelet avec un bâton de pop-cycle et me dit qu'il faut continuer le traitement et revenir !! Combien de fois je dois payer 40$ avant d'obtenir un prescription pour voir l'ophtalmologiste ?? Pourquoi le suivi à été aussi précipité. J'ai senti qu'elle voulait en finir rapidement avec moi pour passer à un autre client. J'ai détester le service de l'optométrie et des réceptionnistes. Cette place est gérée par des réceptionnistes incompétentes et l'optométriste manque d'éthique et semble vouloir remplir ses poches. La seule chose positive que j'y trouve est le wifi dans la salle d'attente ... J'ai changé d'optométriste.
