Just moved to st. Thomas and for quick things needed Rona see.s like a great place, but for actual jobs and wood needed, you'll need to do a trip to home Depot to London. The wood they have seems to be more priced then home Depot has and didn't look like they would be able to cut the wood to size either (didn't ask since it didn't seem they had what I needed at the time, just counted my losses that London trips will be happening for big reno jobs). Employees where super nice and helpful otherwise.

If I could give 0 stars for the building materials/delivery department, I would. An absolute nightmare since the first order. Sent a bunch of the wrong stuff. The items that were correct like composite decking had been seriously damaged with a forklift. We had to return probably 50% of a $7000 order and then wait days for replacements. Extremely disappointed and kind of confused by how any store can even operate like this

One of my favourite stores in st thomas. I find myself just going here on a whim to see what they have in stock, what's new, and what's in sale. During the quarantine I had to order some wood and I did curbside pickup. The staff loaded it right in my car. Super easy, super convenient. Probably the best hardware store in the area. Definitely recommend. Only downside is it's much smaller than other rona stores in london and area.

Good luck dealing with these people that know it all. Bought a pair of fiskars trimmers there 2 weeks ago and had an issue for warranty. The guy at the back desk informed me that they haven't had those for over a year. I definitely bought them there and offered my bank statement. Not helpful at all and kind of stand off ish about it. Will never step foot in that store again.

Got a sheet of mdf asked to be cut into 2x2 squares. Of the 8 peices I got two are under 2ft width by over 1/4 inch. Only two boards have more than 2 square angles. Sheet was 49 inches wide. No care was taken while cutting. They also pick people at random at the service counter regardless of order of lining up. Long wait for poor service

Customer service is absolutely terrible at this location. I've been a few times for various items and every interaction I've had with staff has been lackluster to say the least. Staff are not familiar with products are they give off the impression like they dont care about your questions are blow you off. I would probably go to lowes in London to be honest.

I had a reno done that should have taken about 3 months but took almost a year, more mistakes and errors I care to remember, subcontractors are not professionals nor did a professional installation, what is easiest and quickest, nor are they careful of one's belongings. One has to keep calling and reminding to get things done. I will go elsewhere for any future renos.

I try to price match in St Thomas. They do not accept flipp app. Only the actual Flyer or the receipt. So i left . When driving out i saw the store that the article was on sale. I stop purchase it there. I am glad since it was a price match of 20% and Rona was more money. So by refusing i got it cheaper someplace hels. Now before i go to Rona i will stop to the other store first. Thanks Rona for giving me a hard time.

disappointing experience today. asked three employees for help in kitchen cabinets and was told they didn't know who worked in that section. I was told to see the store manager...he should know they said. Really? Tried to get his attention and was put off three times by him as he whisked by me ... This rating is for online purchases...the store staff and quality are not at question here. It's the online purchase problem I've run into a few times now. I find a product I want to purchase in a quantity (plywood,patio pavers...) and because my local store doesn't have the needed quantity I can't complete my order. I have no problem paying in full for, say, 50 pieces, and waiting for the order to be filled and delivered (with in an acceptable time frame) but I am stopped from completing my purchase and am left having to order from a competitor in the neighboring city. Rona needs to address this problem and allow online ordering to actually be online ordering.

This is a store I try to avoid. The customer service is non existent and it’s always dirty. Whenever you try to ask for help at the contractor desk to place a yard order you feel like you’re distracting them from their coffee and conversation. Yard staff have trouble finding things almost always. Half the time they don’t actually have what I need. Go to home hardware in town, you’ll be better off. One star because one time I found something there no one else had.

I have had some poor experiences with RONA, including incorrect times on google etc, but overall they are very helpful and polite. Prices in some areas are a little steep. If you have a plumbing question, ask for Dave. Top guy

Rona is typically more expensive than Home Hardware here in St Thomas. They do however sell certain specialty items that Home Hardware does not sell. On everyday items I don't find their prices very competitive. They do however carry a large selection of economy ceramic tiles if you're looking to do some tile work on a tight budget. And if you watch their sales they often have good sales on higher end bathroom fixtures.

We LOVE Rona!!!!! Got all our Lumber from here, Ryan was fantastic on the phone. We needed more for another project, ordered on the phone went to pick it up the young man put it in my care ensuring it was all straight no gouges. They are always so helpful here. Yes you may have to wait for help on the shop floor but they can't be everywhere at the same time. Thank you . Definitely shop here rather than Home Hardware anymore.

The staff in our local store was helpful and we found everything that we need but when it came to delivery the guy just left in the driveway in while it was raining and took off and ABSOLUTELY refused to help at all and left it for my 63 year old mother to carry everything in !!! if it wasn't for her neighbors everything would have gotten damaged !!! Nice friendly staff. They are doing the best they can during the lockdown. Great efforts to get my order ready and I'm sure it was not easy as they had tons to pick everyday and probably most contractors demanded same day service and Rona St-Thomas did a great job. I'm from out of town (Uxbridge area) and I can't complain about anything from the service to the smile in the pick up port. Thank you for working e xtra hard during thses hard times
