I've been wearing glasses most of my life and experienced getting glasses many many times... but I can truly state FYIdoctors in St.Thomas were the best I've ever dealt with. Top notch professional's from the moment you walk in. Also very pleasant on the phone. The best experience I've ever had getting glasses. Way to go people!

We had an excellent experience at FYidoctors in St. Thomas! Such efficient and knowledgeable staff, and Dr Kim Shuit is wonderful. My husband and I both wear glasses and we felt our needs were met and concerns addressed. Cassie is amazing; so helpful in explaining all aspects of the lenses and frames and whittling down the numerous choices for us. We trusted both her knowledge and opinion! 5 Stars for sure!

FYI Doctors located in St Thomas, Ontario is the best place for one to attend for all eye needs. Although a bit of a distance from London, the level high level of customer service and the attention to service provision is second to none. I recently had my glasses replaced less than a few months purchasing because it did not fit. The charged a small difference for the more expensive new frame I chose. Everyone here is amazing, but the Manager Marie is one of a kind. The level of service makes up for any long drive one has to make over there.

Dr Schuit has such a bad attitude. I did find She is not professional. I went in there with my daughter a while ago because her teacher said she thinks she needs glasses. Dr Schuit was so rude to us, made me feel silly for bringing her in because her prescription was mild, and seemed like we were just wasting her time. (and I got a second opinion, and did need glasses to see the board). Needless to say we go to another local optometry office now! My parents were In with Dr Schuit yesterday, and told my mom she was blind in one eye, like it was no big deal, she just says “it is what is!”. Are you kidding me?! When she wanted my dad to come in the room for support (cause she was just told she was blind in one eye now!) Dr Schuit refused to let her go get him and told her no you’re okay, you’re done anyway. She No compassion, rushes through everything and very rude. They will not be going back either. I would find another Optometrist if I were you!

I am giving FYI Eye Care in St Thomas a 5 star rating because: not only are they local in our community but their Doctors and staff are fabulous but they take their time to get to know you and to ensure you are well cared for. They are absolutely the best I have been going to them for the past several years and would not imagine going any place else. They have great staff Lori, Jen, Jaclyn, and Coleen just to name a few friendly and helpful staff and the other staff are great too.

I have yet to get any response from FYI doctors. My new lenses arrived and I have left voice mails after five failed phone calls this week on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday to pick them up. There has also been no response from their customer care email. In every case their message says they will return calls ASAP or by the next business day. Their system is broken. Apparently they are too busy. I did pay almost $600.00 up front, and have been a long time customer. I also sent a snail mail letter to let them know their phone system isn’t working, but that obviously failed as well. Very frustrating all in all..

Won't tell you they don't write your PD its no problem if you buy glasses there but lets be honest its a sales tactic just like contacts will not be doing business there

Won’t give you a PD size unless you buy there glasses and they tell me it’s because they no longer need to provide that as an eye exam. Also tried to tell me it’s not because they want my money lol. Well when I tell you I need this exam to purchase glasses from an online rep I have exclusive deals with than you should say I won’t provide you your PD. But they won’t because they are getting paid. Walmart which is ok will provide that but now I have to pay again just for PD such bull Greedy People and not honest up front

My mom goes to Dr Paula and really likes her as well. We definitely recommend FYI. All of the dispensary staff are knowledgeable helpful and pleasant. Maria is amazing! thought this was a stand up place have great staff very friendly but money motivated sales. since the laws changed for Pupil Distances they won't give you your full prescription to take to other places even if you pay so you are forced to either pay someone else for the PD which on top of getting an exam done here. They try and say its a liability issue which really its not. just the distance between pupils

Dr. S. was great with my 4 year old son and even though he didn't know his letters yet. He was a bit nervous at first but the doctor made him feel comfortable and she was able to measure his vision and let me know his eyes are healthy and developing normally. My son had a great time and he can't wait to come back next year!

I have been a patient here for over 10 years and the staff and doctors are always friendly and ready to help. I am really picky about my glasses and they took the extra time to find the right pair for me. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my eye care and glasses!

Male eye doctor has no people skills. Ordered lenses for my own frames. They messed up the order with the wrong pupilary distance. Ordered lenses January 6. Contacted them about the issue a couple of days later. They supposedly ordered the correct lenses. It's been almost four weeks and they keep postponing the appointment to install the replacement lenses. Don't order glasses or lenses from there if you don't want to pay high prices for pathetic services. No consolation for their pathetic service.

I am a client of an associate F.Y.idoctors in Arthur. We were camping and the lens came out of my glasses. St. Thomas was the closest location. I was asked how they could help me, I explained and they repaired my glasses immediately. I was on my way within 15 minutes, when I asked about any charges they said no charge. Great doctors, but I would recommend purchasing prescriptions and frames elsewhere. They sent my 14 yr old daughter home with mismatched lenses after one of the new lenses was damaged by their equipment. Seriously, who thought that was a good idea when it will take a month for replacements?

I saw Dr. Tang and was very disappointed in the service I received. I went in for a simple contact lens fitting and was not able to find a pair that worked for me. Dr. Tang was very dismissive, told me he could not find a pair of contacts for me and that there was nothing that could be done. He did not offer to refund me for my contact fitting or appointments. I finally decided to go to another St.Thomas Optometrist who was able to find me a pair that worked for me almost immediately without any fuss. I cannot recommend FYidoctors St.Thomas to anyone.
