Avoid AVOID avoid at all cost. I have been followed by DR. Choremis for two years. She is just plain awful. The other olphtamologists and doctors at IOL will warn you before meeting her for an apointment. Do not speak to her, do not ask questions to her, she will walk in, examine you and her assistant will explain later what are the instructions given by her to you. She is a cornea specialist and eye surgeon. A super top notch doctor. She is lazy, pretentious and in her case negligent. Why you ask...After a very brief 2 minute examination of my eye she decided I needed a new Cornea requiring near urgent eye surgery, I felt uneasy about the diagnosis, it was very invasive surgery with absolutely no info. No discussion, nothing. Left with Google as a research tool, I start inquiring and find other undesirable reviews and experiences about her. I call group IOL and ask to see any other olphtamologist and get another "troll" who tells me my eye pain will continue unless, I follow the KING PING of corneas (Choremis) advice. (BTW front staff and other doctors there are very kind) I walk OUT mid apointment. Outraged. I make an another apointment with an Oltamologist clinic on the other side of province. 8hrs drive away to get a real second opinion. The doctors at the new clinic diagnosed me almost immediately. I had a viral infection and needed anti biotics. No need for a new cornea or any surgery what so ever. This new new doctor is the first doctor to ever have examine both my eyes! ????‍♀️ If only groupe IOL had examined both my eyes, maybe I would have avoided the monthly apointment for years, the missed work and 2 hours commute to get there. OHH and the thousands of dollars spent treating an eye condition I did not have! Trust your gut.

Le problème qu'elle voyait c'était que mes yeux avaient perdus énormément de force (2 fois moins qu'il y a 6 mois) pour pouvoir converger adéquatement et un peu plus d'exophtalmie qu'à l'habitude à l'oeil gauche (exopthalmie condition connue depuis 26 ans excellente spécialiste à Maisonneuve Rosemont à l'époque pour ce problème). Focus sur l'exopthalmie aucunement sur le problème des yeux qui forcent, douloureux etc. aucune écoute. Conclusion en 2 minutes le conseil du super spécialiste arrêter de fumer et un suivi en ophtalmo à l'hopital pour mon exophtalmie .J'aurais été curieuse du conseil si je n'avais pas fumé. Sur ce j'espère ne plus jamais avoir à aller perdre 2h30 de mon temps dans cette clinique.
