I had to write this review as soon as I left this store just now. I dropped in there on a early Friday evening to get an adjustment for my glasses. Although the store is semi busy I was immediately greeted and received the service I needed in a matter of a few minutes. I am very impressed.

After visiting many optical centers looking for the perfect frames, I finally found them at Lens Crafters. They really do have the best selection of new and stylish frames. However, I did receive the worst customer service of anywhere else Id been. If you are looking for nice frames, Lens crafters is the place to go. If you want superior service, I suggest getting the lenses elsewhere. They seemed very disorganized in the way they run their business.

WORST SERVICE EVER. I never write reviews, but I am so irritated with their service, it was worth telling people. Tried to set up their "lenscafters" credit card, as they told me to take it to my bank to set up easy payments over 6 months. Nope, I had to talk to 2 different banks and 2 useless phone calls with Lenscrafters to find out it can't be done with my bank, now I have to pay out of my pocket. Absolute waste of my time!

We walked in there because normally we have had good customer service , but today a lady approached me and i have never felt so belittled in my life !!! She talked down to me and told me what i wanted and what i didnt want .Walked out of there and We will NEVER ever go there again.

Absolutely the worst customer service and service in general. They LOST my insurance paperwork and told me they had to resubmit it. After 3 weeks of waiting already to hear back from them on whether they heard back or not, I had travelled back to the store and they were having to resubmit because they had nothing on file? I told them "No, let's not. Please just cancel it" so I could go somewhere else. After 10 days I called my insurance company and they hadn't cancelled anything! Which meant I had to spend my morning making calls to three different places across Canada to find out what was going on before I was able to call LensCrafters Polo and tell them, again, to cancel the paperwork. This time I wouldn't hang up until I was promised that it would be done today. But I'm still going to be the one calling my insurer and doing all the follow up. I've needed glasses since I was 2. I've dealt with a LOT of eyewear stores, and this is literally the worst experience I've ever had. No promised follow ups or confirmations. Paperwork lost. Customer told paperwork hadn't been done when it had. Customer being told a cancellation would be done when one wasn't. This whole debacle has cost me FIVE WEEKS now. I hope all these delays by LensCrafters don't cost me the price or the frames I do actually like that I do actually want to get elsewhere. In any case, I am NEVER darkening their door again. That's for sure.

Terrible service seems to be he there in reviews about this optometrist. I saw Dr Jamora, and admit, he himself was terrific and very thorough when fitting me for lenses. The breakdown: The reception team. Never in my life have I encountered such snobbish terrible service!!!! I called to reorder my lenses, and was told I would be called back. I never got a call back. When I called again, I was given a lecture from the woman on the phone about needing to look after the customers in the clinic. Was I not a customer?? Did I not deserve to be taken in turn like any other incoming customer?? I snapped after being treated like a low class citizen not worth their time. I reminded her service was HER job, and that she should check the attitude. I hung up. I now order my contacts off of contactsforless.ca. My 3 months of Bi-weekly lenses is about $200. This place lost $800/yr. Go Team ????!

Was there for a walk in, needed an emergency pair of glasses for school. The eye doctor I feel like he rushed the eye exam in comparison to previous experiences at other eye care centers. My prescription in the end was wrong, I said something about it as soon as I got them, but was told that after a few days my eyes will adapt to it. They were wrong and as a result my right eye prescription was constantly slightly more blury than the left. I don't recommend going here.

The staff were very kind and explained the complete process, due to Covid. Every pair of frames that a customer touched are gathered onto a tray and cleaned between customers. You must wear a mask during your visit inside the store. Understandable, and policy requires the mask but that makes it hard to see the frame on your face with half your face covered. Harpreet helped me and was very patient and kind during the process. Would love to work with Harpreet again in the future. ????????????

Optometrist onsite. I walked in and in two hours walked out with a new pair of glasses. Excellent warranty on glasses for children and young adults. Fantastic optometrist and professional staff. I read the other reviews and are shocked at the comment it was an absolute treat to be in the store and be helped. The technology used at the location eliminates many of the possible errors with frames that can be encountered elsewhere and the technicians on site can fix almost any problem quickly, as was the case for me. With my schedule being erratic I was able in a few hours complete my purchase form an eye exam to the final product. I am highly satisfied with this location. 2018 update, from the best to zero. Appointment at 5 the optometrist is 4 hours behind?! Why even make appointments? What happened?

If it was possible to give a zero (0), I would. I had to wait 30 mins for my eye exam while the office personnel sat around gossiping and the optometrist was in his little office chatting to wife/partner on the phone. Then, when I went to spend hundreds of dollars for a pair of glasses, I got shuffled from one sales "professional" to another; within 15 minutes, I'd explained myself and my preferences for frames to 3 different people. And to top it all off, I was told two weeks' wait for my glasses to be ready. It's now been almost twice that amount of time. This store and the service are absolutely abysmal. Avoid at all costs.

It was my second time buying my glasses at the Polo Park location and as always, it was a great experience. The student optometrist was helpful in assisting me with my prescription lenses (forgot her name). Since she's still learning the curves and with some technical difficulties, we had some trouble creating my profile. The store manager, Tiffany, was there to guide her along the way. So our transaction went smoothly as she knows best! She was kindly, knowledgeable, accommodating and both provided excellent service. ????

Scheduled an eye exam and when I arrived ten minutes early for my appointment I was given a form to fill out, and then promptly told that they were "very behind schedule" and that I would likely we waiting for well over an hour past when my appointment was supposed to start. Amazing service and super helpful staff. I went here on a day where the lab made 100 glasses that day already and the lab tech was busy! The manager Dom, optician Sandra and the lab tech working today made it possible for me to get glasses done for me so I can see again! Best place for selections of designer glasses and awesome deal! Pros Traffic control on people coming in and out is well organized specially during this pandemic The entire process is also superb easy and well organized Great selection on frames and services. Products are all high quality All Staff are friendly and very professional. Cons The Eye exam are rushed. I didn't feel like my eyes was thoroughly checked. The optometrist is rushing just checked my previous glasses asked me to read some letters and we're done. Also I didn't appreciate the fact the he have let me waiting for so long because he took his time chatting with his last patient and he have to rush me because the patients waiting became so jam packed. If I only knew this, I just did my eye exam from the clinic beside the pearl vision. Because they will thoroughly check your eyes and would made sure you'll get the right prescription that you need and would give you advice about any medical condition that you might need so you could prevent it. Also most of the products specially the lenses are a bit expensive compared to other brands/store Overall its a good experience if not only because of my eye check up I probably would give it 5 stars.

Unfortunately it is one day before Christmas and the university store where I got the glasses is closed till next term, so I visited LensCrafters and the lady there helped fixing them perfectly for me, saving me from using my old and dizzy spare glasses for the next two weeks. I suppose it goes without saying now that eyeglasses are a huge scam. Those curved pieces of plastic you wear in front of your eyes? They actually cost about a dollar each. Those places that sell glasses online for $20-50? They still make a profit, even at those prices. Now ask yourself, with that in mind, why you would want to pay $500-1000 for your glasses. Perhaps you need someone to tell you the glasses look good on you. Or you need someone to "adjust" them, so they sit correctly on your face. I understand. But I want you to also understand, that my experience at Lenscrafters was nothing but aggravation. The salesman I spoke with (not an actual optician) suggested I get some new glasses with tiny lenses, because my old glasses were so huge and outdated (but very comfortable). I found the tiny frame uncomfortable, but he reassured me, "don't worry if they're uncomfortable, they'll be fitted to you perfectly!" He went on about how good the glasses would fit, and they even take a bunch of fancy-looking measurements to sell you on the whole process. They advertise "glasses in about an hour," but of course, that didn't apply for me. They told me my glasses would be ready in about 10 days, and they would call me when they were ready. After the 10 days passed, I did not hear from them, so I called them. The receptionist said, "well I really don't think they're ready but I'll check." And of course, they were ready. They just couldn't be bothered to tell me. When I put the glasses on, I immediately noticed how uncomfortable they were, just like the demo pair. I thought they were being made custom made for me (taking all those measurements into account) but that did not seem to be the case. I thought maybe that's why they cost $400, after all. Naturally, the optician went through the motions of fiddling with them a bit, like they always do, and I put them on... and they felt pretty much the same. But I took them home to try and "get used to them." A few days of discomfort later, I had to admit I absolutely hated the glasses. I went back to LC to take advantage of their return policy. I tried out a completely different style of frame. They were better, but still uncomfortable. I went back three times for adjustments, and it never really made any difference. The 30-day window for returns was closing. I went back and asked if I could try a different pair. The manager informed me at this point, that I could only have one exchange. That didn't seem to be mentioned anywhere in their policy, so I was a bit suspicious. I went home, looked at their website, read through the exchange/return policy, even called their customer service line... and was told there was no limit on the number of exchanges I could have. I concluded at this point that the manager was just trying to bully me into keeping the glasses, even though I clearly wasn't happy with them. I took them back and just demanded a refund, which they were willing to provide. So I suppose I can give them an extra star for their excellent return policy, even if the staff tends to lie or otherwise give inaccurate information. I ended up buying two pairs of glasses from Zenni Optical, for $50 total. Even with shipping times included, I got them in less than 10 days. Both pairs were more comfortable than the ones I got from LC.

Worse experience I ever had.... my glasses has broken into 2 pieces just 5 month after purchase because of their low quality products. I have always taken good care of them and never Ever dropped them. They said they could not repair it because I did not purchase their coverage plan and I have to pay and additional $300, very bad customer service. Will not recommend anyone to go there.

Came into the store on Saturday worried as I had a budget and I been wearing glasses for years so I know the crazy cost being able to see. I was paired up with Yamin and was incredibly satisfied.my family has seen him before and again he provided outstanding service. He was able to get me 2 pairs of glasses for the low budget I had. He also solved a huge issue.and was able to get the glasses that I truly loved and made them fit my head properly with a little adjustment. He even made a last minute change to help me save a little money with getting designer frames that were on clearance. It was soo awesome. Yamin is an incredible provider and I would be guaranteed to refer him to anyone to help them get what they need. Wanted to purchase a pair of new lens for the frame. bought the frame at this store location 2 years ago, no damage. The lab manager said the screw that secures the lens to the frame was broken inside. Wow!! She made conclusion without even unscrewing it. "No cannot put new lens to it sir. No I am 100 sure it's broken and will damage your frame. I RECOMMEND YOU GETTING A NEW FRAME. I am pretty sure." Well, I mean, If the screw is broken, just put a new screw into it. "No, we don't have the same screw and I might damage the frame so I won't do it." Are you sure it is broken inside? Are you really sure? "yes sir, I am sure and i can tell it." ////// My only regret was that I didn't call her bullsh t at that moment. Folks, don't make the same mistake like I did.

The manager lied when I asked if they can do a direct billing for the 25 dollars I paid for exchanging the frame under the warranty. She first said she can't do it because it is a deductible for warranty then after I ask her if she can enter it as the purchase of the frame she said no because she can only enter it when costumer purchase both frame and lens together. I pointed out she changed her words but didn't bother to argue with her. There is a reason its so empty in their store I hope their owner can read the reviews because bad costumer service = bad business!

Picked up new glasses on June 22nd, and discovered that they had given me the wrong prescription. Went back to LensCrafters the next day to take advantage of their 30 day return policy and was advised by the sales associate that I had to let them fix the problem before they could issue me a refund. Went back for another eye exam on July 2nd. The doctor seemed uninterested in giving me an eye exam and ended up giving me my old prescription from 5 years ago. Picked up my new glasses today (July 14th) and was told that 30 day guarantee will expire July 22nd. Not impressed with the experience.

For a first-timer was very impressed with my optician and doctor over here. Overall the staff were friendly and professional. As a customer I was very satisfied with their service and I would recommend others to come here. Thanks, keep up the good work!

I am diabetic and urinate frequently. I also use a wheelchair. The Lenscrafters is in the basement and to get down I have to use a powered wheelchair left. When I had to use the bathroom they would not make an exception to let me use it. They just kept saying it was for staff only. In order for me to get to the nearest bathroom I would have to have gone back up the chair lift, used the bathroom in the mall and then used the lift to come back down. By that time it would have been past my appointment time. They would not give me a REASON why they would not make an exception for my disabilities. However, their incompetence has cost them a glasses sale and a lifelong customer. I will also be telling everyone I can about how this company treats customers with disabilities. Absolutely disgusted.

I called in advance so I wouldn't have to go out of my way to see if they repaired frames and they told me they did. So I went down there to walk in the store and be told they don't. Then they tried to say they can make me brand new glasses for over $300.00. What a scam!

Popped in on a Saturday while doing other errands and Hardeep promptly and kindly adjusted my glasses free-of-charge. I would have had to wait until Dec 1 to have my own eye care provider make the adjustment. I was very grateful for her help and plan to return soon for an eye exam.

Fantastic service and super quick! My glasses, which I purchased at a different optician, broke. That location isn’t open for another 2 weeks (Christmas break). Another optician wouldn’t touch them as they didn’t want to be responsible if they broke them. LensCrafters had no issues with fixing them and I was in and out in under 5 minutes. What a Christmas present-thank you!

Service was quick (too quick? Is 5 minutes normal?), but the optometrist just did not care about me. He didn't even greet me - just nodded his head from me to the room. I understand that small-talk sucks but he didn't even introduce himself, so I can't even say which optometrist it was. Definitely felt like he would have rather been anywhere than there - like I was inconveniencing him.

I required an adjustment on my frames, and dropped in toLensCrafters in Polo Park. They did not want to make the adjustments, I feel mostly due mostly because I purchased the glasses outside of Winnipeg. I don’t know why they don’t have a service fee to cover these kind of services as required. One thing is certain I will not be returning to LensCrafters.
