Had issue with my eyes and they got me in the same day

Don't be a single min late like I was or they will turn you away without hesitation. My appointment was for 10:30, I was in the door by 10:36. Even after I told them I drove 2 hrs to see them, she didnt even check with anyone to see if they could take me in after whoever had taken my place. Simply told me I had to shedual. They lost 4 customers today and anyone else that asks me for recommendations.

It took me three phone calls to make my paperwork go anywhere. All the while I had given them the fax number to send my prescription to a laser surgeon. They even had the audacity to ask what information to send. Reasonably speaking it should have been obvious what to send. The First call to confirm the sending/confirmed they had sent it, the laser surgeons office received zero fax. The Second attempt led me to call the laser surgeons office before them. By doing so confirming once again that they had not received anything this being the third day. Having called Blinks for the second time now only finding out they had started a cover letter for the prescription all the while chuckling in the background. blinks had made the second guarantee of them sending it via fax. Now calling the third time on the Friday to the laser surgeons office and them telling me once more it had not been sent to any of their fax machines. A third call was made to the blinks office to ask why it still had not been sent. I advised them that I had called the laser surgeons office to confirm each time if the blinks office had sent anything and the answer was still no from the surgeons side. The front office staff are rude, even laughing at me during the calls. When they couldn't be bothered to do their job properly.

I have being seeing Dr. Shumsky for several years now and am overwhelmed at the wonderful service I receive time and time again. I have recommended this optometrist to numerous people and will continue to do so.

I found a great eye doctor, recommended by a long time friend and I agree that he was fabulous with great bedside manner. However, the front desk made a point of telling me they don't 'deal with First Nation health care benefits, but accept everything else. WOW, on Treaty Land but won't accept health care benefits from Treaty people. Shameful

Fought with me about sizing, alignment of my new glasses or the strength. Paid almost $700 for glasses that less than a year later I have to replace because they are poorly made. I tried to contact someone and have been given the run around since. Shameful absolutely shameful

My first impression after visiting Blink Eye care is that this place is very busy and Dr. Shumsky and customer service are doing good job.

Not happy with this place at all... Dr. Shumsky gave me the wrong eye prescription. My vision was awful. After calling the front desk, they said I would have to pay AGAIN for another eye test! This was not at all professional. In the end, I went to another /different eye doctor. They said that I actually needed TWO prescriptions, or bi-focals. One for reading and one for driving. The new doctor was baffled as to why Shumsky tried creating a one-off prescription for me... Also, I have to say, that the staff at Blink Eye-Care is poor (to say the least), and they have no computers so their records are a mish-mash in their office. Would NOT recommend.

Front Desk Horribly rude on the phone...snarky attitude... This place was so much better when Dr Bohonos was alive and running it. He wouldnt of let the front staff ever be rude like this.

I think blink eye care does a wonderful job. Dr.Shumsky determined right away the issues I had with my eyes before I told him. I like their glasses they are better quality. You get what you pay for.

I would love to rate this place a 5☆ rating but I can't because the front office staff are very rude and abrupt. Dr. Shumsky deserves 5☆ as he is thorough, friendly and very personable. Too bad the front staff ruin the ratings for this business.

Dr. Shumsky was amazing. He was quick but effective. He explained every test and was very pleasant. The ladies at the front seat were nice, one more so then the other (the other receptionist never smiled and had a monotone voice) but got the job done! They found out my issues and got me a prescription that was spot on to my needs!

Very bad,she put something in my eye and didn't tell me what it was and I almost fell. Bad service. I couldn't even drive.
