My first exposure to Nexus Vision Centre was when Dr. Patterson was treating my son for post-concussion therapy. It was because of the excellent treatment he provided to my son that I chose to visit him when I found my eyes deteriorating. Dr. Patterson is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything about the current status of your eyes. His front line staff are extremely friendly and a delight to work with, they don't try to pressure you into buying glasses from them, but if you decide to they will be very excellent in helping you choose the best pair! In an era where our standards of customer service continually drop this group takes it to the next level! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

They gave me suggestions on how to fix/repair lenses that weren't theirs to service. The glasses they picked out for me very much suited my profile and I can't say enough about their service. Recently I had the opportunity to visit Nexus Vision Centre for the very first time and I've been looking forward to writing this review because my experience far exceeded my expectations. I've been searching for a new eye Dr. for a while as I've been very dissatisfied with the one that I previously had. I ended up doing a google search for eye Doctors in the city and when I came across Nexus, I noticed that there were many good reviews so I decided to give it a chance. From the very first interaction of giving them a phone call in regards to setting an appointment, it was very pleasant. I wanted to make sure that I added in that "small" detail because I've had many experiences where i've called some kind of Doctor's office and most of the receptionists were rude and unprofessional. So this was the first indication for me that I had chosen the right place! Fast forward to my actual appointment, I felt incredibly welcomed from the moment I walked in there. I was greeted immediately by Janae who was very nice, it was a quick process to fill out my forms and then we got started on the examination in no time. Dr. Patterson was very thorough during the examination, knowledgeable, addressed and listened to all my concerns and very professional. I wasn't made to feel like "just another client", it was a very personalized experience. Afterwards I decided to take a look at some frames as I haven't upgraded in years. I was assisted by Renee B. and my wonderful experience with Nexus thus far continued. I really have to commend Renee, she was an absolute pleasure to deal with! She was extremely patient, had a very warm and kind personality, knowledgeable and professional. She built strong rapport with me from the get go and the entire transaction was friendly and smooth. Best of all, Renee was not your typical sales person who would try to sell you the most expensive thing just to make a sale, she was the complete opposite of that! Never at any point was she pushy, she really took the time to go over all the various pricing points and plans for frames and lenses. She truly cared about putting the needs and wants of the customer first, exceptional customer service! At the end of everything, I really had to take the time to tell Renee how pleased I was with visiting their eye centre. I told her that this was the best experience i've ever had with any eye Doctor from start to finish. Actually, I've never been this wow'd by ANY Doctor visit. Usually I have bad experiences with medical appointments, nobody seems to be friendly or professional these days so I have to say that it was so refreshing to come across and receive such great Customer Service! Such an amazing experience from each staff member that I had the chance to deal with and they all went above and beyond. The front desk is very welcoming. During the epidemic, the flow of people can be well controlled. Hand Sanitizer is provided, and the distance between seats in the waiting area is more than 6ft. Dr.Patterson is very nice and professional. My English is not good, he explained to me patiently.

Dr. Patterson provided a very thorough assessment, including how the eyes work together as a team, which is rarely assessed in other optometry clinics. He was very friendly and great with my kids. Renee was absolutely wonderful with my daughter who needed to get glasses for the first time this year. She’s so friendly and made the task of buying glasses a great experience! She answered my daughter’s multiple questions with optimism and enthusiasm. Brook was very friendly and we appreciated her help with booking appointments. While our children do not need Vision Therapy at this time, I highly recommend this clinic for anyone who needs this service as they are very knowledgeable!

I had an issue with the colour starting to come off my frames after 3 months of wear. Dr Patterson spoke with the manufacturers rep and my frames were replaced at no cost in about a week.
