Love the doctors here, but the prices of their contacts are grossly inflated. They wanted to charge me $100 a box (that's after a 25% discount, btw), which is a ridiculous markup, and a further $20 to mail them to me. I went online and ordered them for $135.97 for TWO boxes, including shipping. No matter what people say about ordering online, there's no excuse to sell things at 120% markup. Love the doctors, but I'll always take my prescription with me and get them elsewhere.

When a patient comes back with issue because of the previous prescription, first response from the clinic should be, let us check with the doctor what we can do for you. Instead what happened is, sorry there is no appointments available and you have to wait. It’s not about the time, availability of appointment or doing it asap. It’s about how far you like to go to fix the patient who comes back with an issue. That’s the value that show how good of a business it is. So if they can change it in future it will help patients and them as a business.

Refused to give trials of contect lenses and said we had to order lenses if we wanted them ,ask to talk to the doctor and lady was extremely rude and said that the doctor doesn't talk over the phone .

I found myself in need of a cataract specialist, as my vision was showing signs of deterioration. Dr Minesh was recommended by a colleague and a fast appointment was available. I took it. Unlike one of the other reviews, I found the staff to be highly efficient, knowledgeable and welcoming and polite. The wait was brief. Dr Minesh made a cursory exam and confirmed that I needed a referral to a surgeon. He sent me to a highly renowned man in Red Deer, which resulted in a visit to the surgeon within 2 weeks of seeing Dr Minesh. Please understand that my condition was not life-threatening, nor was I in danger of going blind any day soon. It was just that my vision was very bad. But Dr Minesh recognized that quality of life was an issue. My thanks to him for his astute diagnosis, and fast action to secure a referral. Here I sit six weeks later with one new eye, awaiting my other one in three weeks! My thanks to Dr. Minesh Kutlerywala and his staff for their help.

Stay away from this place where you will get a different optometrist other than what you book for appointment. Me and my family booked online appointment with Dr. Minesh Kutlerywala. Got confirmation by email. Reached there on time today at 6.15. The receptionist said Dr. Minesh is not available and she said to meet a different doctor. Sharing this frustrating experience here with our members. Wasted all of our time in this working day evening. Looks like they are cheating patients with wrong information. I have the online confirmation with me. Trying to find the authority where I could complaint to report my time loss. Too bad. Greedy people.

I really loved this place I had really bad eyes and could not see anything and this place and it's awesome and really friendly doctors helped me with a big smile and amazing staff! Did not take long in the waiting room as the form took that time over. And the price is not bad compared to any optemetrist in Alberta. I really love this service and I strongly recommend this place to all the people that need their eyes treated carefully and professionaly.

Great doctors here. I bring my whole family here for their check ups. I have been using this office for 6+ years and have never had a bad experience with the doctors or the ladies at the front desk. They were great with my daughter and helped me to understand that her eyes were healthy and gave me tips to keep her eyes safe. They took the time to answer my questions, unlike other places where you are pushed through like cattle. Some of the places I called wanted to charge me $150 for a routine exam but these guys were much lower AND they direct billed it to my insurance. It was a great experience. I highly recommend them.

Was in town visiting family and realized I forgot to bring additional contact lenses and my glasses. My prescription was outdated, so they refused to sell me any contact lenses. No exceptions would be made given the circumstances of my request.

Was recently in need of a family checkup for our eyes and was recommended to check out Bower Eye Care, located inside Bower Mall. I should point out that there are 2 Optometrists in Bower Mall, with almost identical names! I ended up at the wrong one for our first appointment and they said it was really common. This one is called Bower Eye Care and the other is Bower Place Eye Care... So you can see how I made this mistake... Bower Eye Care is joined to the Lens Crafters, making it a simple breeze to get your prescription filled without having to leave the Optometrist! We did notice that it was a bit more expensive here than our last Optometrist, but the staff at Bower Eye Care are all very friendly, give you great customer service and made our experience here a pleasant one! So if you are in need of a new Optometrist, I would highly recommend going to Bower Eye Care, inside Bower Mall!

Very unprofessional eye doctor, I wil never go there again. I have end stage glaucoma and was feeling something wasn’t right with my eyes and all he was interested in was getting paid from Alberta health and not listening to what I had to say. Very disappointing

My husband had the most excellent service here today! Dr. Minesh Kutlerywala and the receptionists were so accommodating! He had a malfunction with his new glasses and the Dr. fit him in and rechecked his perscription and gave it a bit of a tweak. New lenses have been ordered and disaster has been diverted. 2020 has been a rotten year so it's really nice to have people go above and beyond to help a person out. WAY TO GO "BOWER EYE CARE"!

The staff is very confused. They shall charge you heavily after the services not even asking whether you would like to get that service or not? If you have extra money to pay, do visit this Optometrist. The doctor was neither able to give any answer to my problem nor did he recommend anything. I would not recommend this Clinic... Very unprofessional. The assistant put all my daughter's information under my name. She did not even see the name clearly for my daughter. It seems they only believe in taking money from clients but not helping them in any way...

Was disappointed when I came in this evening for a walk in eye exam. The wonderful gentleman at LensCrafters tried to get me in but the doctor had already left for the day. Thankfully the other office in the mall got me in last minute. FYI if your hours say open till 6 you should probably have a doctor till then.

My children were due for an eye exam and I couldn’t recall the name of the clinic we normally go to in Bower. When I called in and described the location, they assured me I called the correct place. It wasn’t. I had been misled. I should have cancelled at that moment, but went through with the appointments anyway. After checking in, I was then told I would have to pay $50 out of pocket for each child for a specific test AHS doesn’t cover. This had never been explained. The receptionist made me feel so small when I said I wasn’t going to pay it. Surely this is something that should be explained prior to the appointments? We will never go back. It was a terrible experience all around.

I am always scared to go the eye doctor but this one made me overcome my fear they are very friendly. They tell me when to wear my glasses and when is not a good time to wear glasses I recommend this one

Stopped in and was pleasantly surprised by firstly the friendly staff and the clean modern appearance , the Dr. saw me... Dr. Ali, he was very professional , and corrected an improper contact prescription given by another clinic and now thanks to him I can see clearly again

So accommodating, I called late morning and they were able to get me in at 3pm same day. The Doctor was so friendly, personable and professional. He answered my MANY (never ending) questions and I left feeling like I had a better understanding of the things I was concerned about. He wasn’t pushy to sell anything, took his time educating me and nothing at all felt rushed. I feel confident strongly recommending this vision centre to anyone, it was a great experience!

The doctors here are so lovely! Dr Jivraj is absolutely delightful and really knows his stuff. I usually am so nervous about having my eyes touched, he fitted me for scleral lenses and I was so nervous but he made the experience so painless and I was laughing the whole time! He makes sure he explains everything so I know what's going on with my eyes. Lots of doctors just give you your prescription and send you on your way, I appreciate having a doctor who cares about you knowing what they're looking at and looking for.

Im very pleased on how Dr. Arshad Ali treats his patients really well. He is so professional and very kind. What Im not really impressed about is the receptionist ladies there. I find them quite rude. No proper greetings. They dont smile. They dont even say thank you, have a great day. I bought a contact lense there today and after the transaction, I gave the lady the debit machine back after using it and she handed me the contact lense with no words. If it wasnt for the doctor, I would not go back here.
