I have been a customer for three years now, ordered my lenses first time round and bought glasses for my daughter, the service then was slow but okay. This time I went to order my contact lenses as I run out of my annual supply. They said I needed a renewed prescription. Came back to see the ophthalmologist, did the exam, re-newed the prescription. Than, I ordered my contacts, they gave me sample lenses to tie me over and said they will call when they arrive. Four weeks later I call, they can't find my order and say they need my new prescription to order them!!! They didn't even acknowledged that they (clearly) made a mistake with my order and moreover hung up on me. Now as result, I have had no contact lenses to wear for a month, my order hasn't even been put through at the time when I called (Saturday start of long Labor day weekend), it's a long weekend and I am stuck with wearing my old glasses until who knows when. They can't even give me sample lenses as "there is no doctor' on site" till after the weekend. It seems that there are many stuff but clearly they this shop is run is completely and utterly disorganized. I will me moving to a new supplier.

Today went for my annual checkup. Great service from Dr. Penny as usual. I wanted new frames and Yannis did the BEST job ever of helping me chose new frames. Took advantage of the 2 for 1 sale (lenses included). Thanks to the great staff.❤

Just got my new glasses and love them! Great staff everyone was so friendly and I was a little picky and the lady that helped me was so helpful she watched me try on about 50 frames and helped me narrow it down to my favorite two! Dr Dillon was great as well and made me feel really comfortable as I'm always very flintchy about my eyes it was a great experience. I highly recommend and will be coming back for my annual exams, thank you visions team!

Great experience! Had same day booking (Which was impressive seeing as I called at 2 pm.) Super fast check up, was in and out in less than an hour. Choosing lenses was super easy and fast as they have an amazing staff to help you out and go above and beyound. Got my first pair of glasses less than 24 hours after the check up. Can't complain at all!

I typically would go elsewhere, but I stopped in on Friday because I was already at the mall. I asked if I could get two pairs of glasses fitted, the girl went over to another woman working there and stared me down while they conversed. I was then told that they would charge me $40 per glasses because I didn’t buy through them and so many buy online now. This is SUCH a rip off. Everywhere else I called said $5-$10. These people were trying to charge me $80 for 10 minutes of work. I seriously do not recommend. It’s disgusting that they’re trying to rip people off that way.

I was in lot of pain as i scratched the cornea of my eye when I contacted them, as there was a wait for the appointment, i was suggested to visit the emergency in hospital where i still had to wait, i was in constant contact with Serena over the phone and she guide me exceptionally well even though i was not her patient. I was attended by a doctor in hospital but my concern and pain was still there so i decided to visit Vision opticals. Serena and dr.Dhillon were so kind to squeeze me in as i did not have any appointment. After being treated very well by Dr. Dhillon i was relieved from pain. I am so very great full to Dr. Dhillon and Serena for helping me out. Thanks a ton

Called to order in my contacts and was able to come in right away. My vision is very poor so I was notified it would take 3-4 weeks but got a call a couple days later notifying they were in and I was able to make an appointment right away to pick them up. It was very refreshing and easy. My new go to place!

If I could Zero I Can not state Strong enough WE will never deal with Visions again. The Worst on going problems they can not or will not get the glasses right.

Had good sales team good exam good doctor.. Bought my aspex turboflex frames that were flexible to withstand wear and tear . Broke with 3 month's time was led to believe that since aspex turbo flexible frames were under warranty but NO.... I provided receipt as well.I paid for glass lenses received plastic lenses and photochromic lenses also paid for glaucoma test .. went back and was told will not be fixed or replaced I am shy by nature so I never asked for anything and just left store NEVER TO RETURN .t.y great experience !

I wasn’t very happy to be told AFTER we had paid and spent time finding glasses and getting the prescription filled, that my son’s glasses would have to be sent away to Montreal to be filled and would take about two weeks to get back because their machine broke that day. It would have been the honest thing to tell customer’s up front that you cannot fulfil the ‘one hour’ optical that is the name of your store.

Dog chewed up my wife's glasses and they got them straightened out, put nice caps on the arms that were ripped off, and buffed out a lot of the chew marks. I'll be buying my glasses from there from now on! They even gave me a replacement set of nose guards for my glasses, all free. Good people work here.

First time customer and forever will be. Such a wonderfull experience it was. I got the help of Kristine and she was amazing. She helped me find two pairs of glasses in less then 25min. I couldnt believe it (normally takes me 2h). A lot of choices and great prices. I will definitely recommend Vision Optical to everyone. My go to place :)

Rude ignorant staff are guilty of violating human rights and are not afraid to openly discriminate against a person with a disability, I will drive to Kelowna and shop at lense crafters or buy online before I ever set foot in this store, I hope you guys go out of business and the mall fills that location with a useful store, even a seasonal gift wrapping spot would be a better choice.

How can getting an eye appointment to renew contact lense prescription be so ridiculously fouled up and complicated and stressful as this was? You guys should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves. Made my appointment with you because you were the last people to issue my contact lenses. I had my eyes examined elsewhere for glasses a while ago because my last experience with you for glasses and contacts wasn't great. However I decided to go back to you for contacts because you were SUPPOSED to have my file. But guess what you couldn't find me in your data base. YET YOU ASKED ME IF MY ADDRESS WAS STILL THE SAME AS THE ONE YOU HAD ON FILE! Then you told me it would cost me $180 for the examination. I said NO. I have never paid that much in my life to have my eyes examined. You called me back and said it would be around the $100 mark and I said okay. Made the appointment. THAT WAS MY NEXT MISTAKE. Had my exam and mentioned to the doctor that my left eye had been bothering me for a couple weeks and he told me I didn't pay to talk to him about my eye problems. There was other rude chatter from him but it's too long to write about. So long story shorter, he gave me some trials to take home and wear till they were done so I could get an idea if I liked them or not. He was ordering me a new pair of trials because he wanted to see if he could tweek the distance a little and they would call me when the new trials came in. I wore these contacts and called the store. They informed me the new trials were not in yet but they would call me when they arrived. I called they store 4 times over a period of almost 3 weeks. I was told something different almost every time I called, but covid was the excuse. The last time I called I was getting testy. They called back and said they had been shipped. Next day I get a call they are in. I drive into town to pick them up. They came with two sets of trials in a bag. Then the girl looks them over and says.... oh no they put the wrong ones in here. New people. She goes back to find mine. Comes back with contacts for one eye. I said how can I wear these with only one eye. She says wear the ones he gave you for the other eye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT?????? Finally she comes with a set for the other eye saying she found some to give me. I leave and finish my shopping. Get in my car and drive home. I get a call that I am not allowed to wear the right eye and I need to come back and finish my exams to complete the prescription. If this sounds funny to anyone, I can tell you it's not. My family has been going through some highly sorrowful and stressful situations and I LOST IT! All I want is a prescription for contact lenses. I've never had it take over three week to complete an exam. I'M DONE WITH THIS COMPANY. Last time wasn't great but this time was RIDICULOUS. BTW... I bought a blue framed pair of glasses from you and a couple of orders of contact lenses from you in the past, but your doctor told me he couldn't see any record of my buying anything from you. WHAT A TOTAL BLOODY MESS YOU GUYS ARE. Shape up! You have stressed me past my limits and I really didn't need that in my life after everything else we are going through.

It's actually a ZERO star review!!! First, after waiting over 2 weeks for my glasses to come back from Montreal for new lenses, they had to send them back as there was scratches on my new lenses. So after waiting another over 2 weeks, they came back with one of my lens badly installed, so it fell off. On top of that my left eye vision wasn't right... to realize that the optometrist didn't get my prescription right! I've been wearing glasses for 32 years, so I have a "little" idea of the examination process... The appointment with the optometrist lasted about 7 minutes, he asked more questions about changing my contact lenses or my eye drops... then flipping those little lenses in front of my eyes to get my prescription right! I usually go to high end optometrist, as I really like choosing funky glasses, I really love shopping for glasses! It's Penticton, optometrist choices are very limited! As they won't acknowledge their obvious mistake, I have to pay twice for that whole mess!!! The joke is on me, as I totally know not to go to mediocre optometrist!!! Do yourself a service, go to FYidoctors if you want a better service experience, they have 2 offices in Penticton! It's not high end, but the service and doctors are way better! & road trip to Kelowna or Vancouver for new funky frame!

Came in to get frame adjusted. They did it at no cost which was nice cause I didn’t buy them there. Was willing to pay 20-30 bucks for service. Had to sign a couple forms and repair took bout 10 mins. Appreciate it thanks!

Stopped in the store to book an appointment to get my eyes checked as its been awhile and am now way over due. There's a couple new people working in there now who were absolutely phenomenal with all the new protocol that has to be followed and getting me in as quickly as they did. I'd been wearing uneven frames all week because I dreaded a hassle for getting them fixed. It was all imagined. They had me fixed in less than 10 minutes with no pressure to buy new. Will return when I need a new prescription and frames.

Both me and my husband have had the opportunity and pleasure of being clients of Visions Optical. Dr. Amarjit, Jeannie and Dominguez are amazing people. They always make us feel welcome and comfortable and have a great sense of humour. They are very professional and helpful. We have no problem giving them a Five Star rating.
