My 85 year old mother who suffers from Alzheimers was referred to Dr. Dorfman, we waited over an hour and a half to see him in an overcrowded waiting room with not enough seating, only to have the doctor be mean, rude and condescending to us, making my mother cry and belittling her for not following his instructions well enough. I have reported this to the referring Optometrist. I was told by several people in the waiting room that he is very rude and will even make fun of someone's accent, his staff seems overworked and scared of him. I will never go back there and will recommend to anyone I meet to not ever go there either. I don't understand how he can keep any patients. If I could post a negative amount of stars for this review I would!

It’s always a pleasant experience seeing Dr. Mah and his team. Everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly and I never have to wait long to either get or be called in for my appointment. I would highly recommend them, and they always have a great selection of fashionable frams to pick from.

Dr Dorfman is extremely condescending and rude, he will be little you at any chance he gets. I do not care what credentials he has, that does not entitle entitle him to be rude to anyone. Dr. Dorfman lacks mannerisms and he also fails to provide adequate service. You will be in the waiting room for HOURS (that is if you don't just get up and walk out) just to get into his office and be treated poorly. RUN and find yourself a doctor that actually cares about you

I arrived on time for my appointment, and waited for 45 minutes without seating available until they were ready. They put me through a series of tests which I can only suppose were related to a small cyst on my lower eye lid (I don't know why testing my ability to focus has anything to do with that, but why not spend another 10 minutes of my time). I was seated in Dr. Jason K. Dorfman's office and he proceeded to make notes without eye contact and say "I'll be with you in a moment" three or four times. Finally, he asked how he could help me and I mentioned that I had a cyst... He replied "what do you mean a cyst be more specific, is it on your foot?"... I said "If I had a cyst on my foot then why would I be seeing an eye doctor?" For all his education, I guessed they skipped the customer experience content. A point came up where he said I have a condition where my eyes have difficulty clearing the tear ducts and I'd have to struggle with this for the rest of my life. I asked if it could be environmental (air quality etc.) and he said "of course not, like all things it's genetic." Okay, great so then they wanted to sell me cream, glasses etc etc... It was time to get out of there. Since then, I stopped using a certain type of facial moisturizer and my eyes have cleared up, cyst is gone and no redness under the lid. QED. You make your own choice but I'll never step foot in there again.

He gets sometimes attacked by people. However I 100% disagree with them. These people have attacked him for doing tests that cost money. He does explain why he thinks it is a good idea to do these tests. I have welcomed every test he has done. He actually has saved my sight now twice. He saved my Dad’s sight too. It is sad that he gets attacked for wanting to do tests that are not covered. He asks always first. He is amazing. I disagree with his reviews that attack him. In the past, we have been to other doctors. I have used glasses since elementary school. I have had serious issues. I choose him because I believe and trust him as a very good doctor.

The staff there were kind enough. However, super behind. The low star rating is mainly towards Dr. Dorfman. He was condescending and quite frankly rude from the very beginning of the appointment. Not recommended.

Horrible service. Dr Dorthman has a horrible attitude, not customer friendly at all. I also went for an appointment at 11am waited until 1pm and nothing had to end up leaving after taking the day off work. Highly recommend staying away for here and finding another doctor

I cannot speak about the actual doctors as i didn’t even have a chance to see them. I went for an appointment and waited an hour after my original appointment time and had to leave as i had to go to work. I wasn’t even notified that i would be seen later than my appointment time, so that i could contact my work accordingly. finally when i went to the front desk to ask to reschedule as i had to get back to work, the receptionist told me “i don’t know when i can reschedule you” without even looking at the schedule to see if there was an opening at any time. thanks sooo much for your help… patient lost.

We've been seeing Dr Mah for years. He is pleasant and great at getting kids to cooperate, however my son has strabismus and my concerns were constantly shrugged off. I asked about numerous options to help correct my son's eye turn and he continuously told me it wasn't an issue. I sought a referral to an ophthalmologist through my family doctor and my son now requires strabismus surgery. So.. He's ok with prescriptions and standard, very basic eye care but personally I wouldn't trust him with our eyes again.

I was here for only 1 week from Austria and got a red Eye during the intercontinental flight - as it did not get better after 4 days I decided to find a doctor. Dr Dorfman us a terrible doctor. Dismissive, aloof,talks down to the patient. He won't let you explain your issue, says it doesn't matter, didn't understand what was wrong so gave me information about something irrelevant. Couldn't get me out of his office fast enough. Run don't walk away from him
