I met the wonderful staff at Envision eye care after I had already done an eye exam elsewhere, unfortunately! But better late than never!!! They take the time on the phone, over email, and person to help you until all of your questions and concerns are answered! Such knowledgeable and respectful humans!Wonderful selection of glasses and just overall such an amazing environment! I highly recommend envision eye care! Very professional, courteous and helpful place. From doctor to receptionist, everyone was very helpful and above all caring. This was my very first visit where I saw Dr Kamal, she was very polite and friendly. Made correct diagnosis in my case and didn't even charge me as I wasn't covered but I think it was primarily because I was already on anti biotics and she wanted me to be comfortable...thank you???? Both the doctors here are very skilled and treat patients very well. I was eventually referred to a specialist clinic in Mississauga for my problem (which was horrible) and I missed the high level of care I got from this clinic. I now only go here for my eye issues.

From the moment I was greeted by Navpreet to receving my glasses, it was a fantastic experience and they have a great array of selections to choose from. I had my eye exam done by Dr.Johar and she was very professional and helped articulate the conditions and health of my eyes that helped me understand. I was then shown the wide selection of eyewear from Ray Bans to Tom Fords, they also mentioned if I didn't find anything I liked they could custom order it. Its also worth mentioning she helped me understand the differences in lenses and the quality that of lenses they carry. Overall, it was a great experience, I will definitely be returning back to these guys & would recommend to others.

Hi everyone! I want to share my experience with you. Last week I decided to clean my face with a product my daughters gave me as a gift for fathers day. This product has tiny particles that help remove deep impurities from your skin. So I washed my face on Thursday and went to bed with no issues. On Saturday after returning from work I took a shower and I felt something go in my eye. I tried washing a few times until the discomfort went away and later went to bed. Sunday morning I felt something again in my eye bit now it felt like something was scratching. After mid day I could barely keep my eye open tried washing again several times but it made it worse. At about 4pm my wife took me to the ER and sat there for about 3 hours until I saw a doctor that took a look in my eye and said I hada cyst and was scratching my cornea, but no foreign object. They gave me a prescription for some drops and told me to take Tynelol for pain and if it kept bothering me to see a ophthalmologist that was supposed to be on call that day for the hospital ,but I suppose they didn’t want to bother on a Sunday. Went back home with my drops and to be honest I could not see, talk , eat or anything. Went to bed but could hardly sleep. Next morning my eye was burning so I called Dr Johar at Envision. They took me in right away. They have the most friendly staff and convenient locations in Oakville. Dr Johar right way took a look at my eye and removed a foreign object that was scratching my cornea every time my eyes blinked or moved. She placed an contact lens to prevent any more damage and protect the corneas and felt immediately 100% relief. Please if you need a good eye Dr I highly recommend you to go to Envision Eye Care . You will not regret it. Excellent staff, excellent Professional, convenient location evetthing you are looking for. Thank you again Dr Johar if I could give you a 10 star rating I would give you a 20 star.

Miranda helped me choose a frame and explained the different lens options. I feel very informed on the lens options which was never explained to me at my previous eye doctor. They communicate the "why" during the assessment and give options regarding my lenses. From the optometrists to the front end staff, everyone is helpful and pleasant. Previously my eye doctor was a fair distance I found Envision in my own backyard and decided to give them a try. Complete one stop service eye exam and new glasses to order onsite. I had my exam and selected two frames regular glasses and sun glasses. I had an issue with my sun glasses and the Envision team specifically Miranda were quick to resolve the problem for me. Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Envision Eye Care. My step-father required a new pair of glasses, and I picked this location as it was close to the Senior Residence where he lived. It was a pleasant experience from the first phone call through to the delivery of the glasses. The receptionists were friendly and accommodating, and empathetic to working with seniors. Dr. Johar-Mann did a great job of making my step-father (who has dementia) feel comfortable and in control of his decision making, To top it off, the glasses came in when the office had to close due to Covid -19, and Dr. Matharu delivered them personally to the Senior Residence. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a caring team of professionals who provide excellent service and go the extra mile for their patients. Thank you so much for looking out for us!

Dr Kamal Matharu is exceptionally knowledgeable and highly skilled. Her steady hands managed to take out a tiny, pesky foreign object from my eye...with a needle! A few weeks later, she was also able to help with diagnosing my son's concussion and monitored it's progress. So many random eye issues with my family and Dr Matharu had all the answers and made us feel well taken care of. I also saw Dr Navpreet Johar-Mann because she is a rigid contact lens specialist. It definitely helps that they have a wonderful office and amazing convenient hours (including Saturdays)! I'm happy to have moved all my families eye services to Envision.

Last Thursday I had an appointment with my family doctor, Dr. Lee, I told him I was experiencing some black lines floating around my right eye. He told me I needed to see an optometrist immediately, he referred me to Envision in Oakville, it was close to my house and he had heard good things. I called to ask for an immediate appointment, they were fully booked, but the receptionist checked with the doctor and the squeezed me in. Upon arrival I was taken in for an exam by Dr. Matharu, the news wasn’t good. My retina on my right eye was detaching and I needed immediate attention. This was 4:00pm on Thursday before Good Friday. Dr. Matharu was determined to see I was seen by a surgeon as soon as possible, she made a call and managed to convince the team (Dr. Sidiqui), at St. Joseph’s in Hamilton to see me. I was evaluated and it was determined that I had 3 tears in the retina with fluid build up, the retina could detach at any moment. I needed surgery immediately, Dr. Chaudhary, a professor at McMaster came in at 8:30pm on the evening before a long weekend and performed the necessary laser eye surgery. If this hadn’t been handled as quickly and as smoothly as this, it is highly likely I would had lost my vision in my right eye. I was extremely fortunate to have everyone perform at the top of their game. Without the willingness to see an unscheduled patient by Dr. Matharu and her skillful analysis of the situation and what was needed, I would be in a very different situation. Dr. Matharu called on the long weekend to check on me. I can’t fully express my gratitude to all the people that helped me, all the doctors have set a wonderful example of how healthcare can work. Many thanks to Dr. Matharu in particular for recognizing the seriousness of the situation and her determination to ensure I was properly looked after.

Beyond happy with their service. From the receptionist to Dr Johan-Mann. They are very knowledgeable and helpful and were able to accommodate my needs in a timely manner. I had my lenses ready in less than a week. I had left them without the case and when I picked them up, to my surprise they put them in a brand new hard shell case of the same brand as my eyeglasses, although they didn’t have to they went above and beyond. I have been twice at your location at the Palermo Clinic and both times you have guys are closed. Today being Saturday Feb, 15th 2020 I and my daughter who also needed glasses came at 2.30 pm and your doors were closed. The sign read closing at 3pm on a Saturday. I have no idea how you run your business. If your store was closed for the Family Long weekend then why not put a sign to indicate you are closed or at it on your public website. Talk about the convenience as to being close by, only to find the inconvenience of the store being closed!

I’ve never written a review before for a medical professional – not even for my own family doctor, that’s how impressed I was with my recent eye examination by Dr. Johar-Mann. All the new and modern equipment on site, a comforting hygienic cleaning before use of each, and she patiently explained each procedure and its result every step along the way in layman’s terms so I could understand. She is very knowledgeable and skillful, and obviously enjoys her job. Lots of free parking, too (new building)!

After moving to Oakville three years ago, I have been going to Envision Eye Care for my yearly check up and then for care in selecting new glasses after having Cataract surgery. They went out of their way to ensure that I was satisfied with the fit of my new glasses. After I had gone in for an adjustment , the office called a few days later to ensure I was satisfied. Dr. Johan-Mann is very professional and caring. I would definitely, with confidence, refer anyone to Envision Eye Care. An added bonus is that there is lots of easy free parking which , for me, is an added benefit since parking is often difficult near medical buildings.

I have my own eye doctor but since he was not available i went to this place and honestly, i was impressed what doctor gave me for my severely dry eyes. My eyes have been irritating me for few days and as soon as I applied what she gave me, the irritation went away less than a day. She was really quick with my eye examination and i think i will continue going here. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! :)
