From disappointed to impressed! Limeridge Loc. The clinic's customer satisfaction and service is above other business's practices. They made the effort to contact me, regarding my review; addressed concerns and made attempts to appease situation. A refreshing experience observed with this business' response and genuine care about their customer(s)or future customer(s) concerns. Their patients can only benefit from this level of dedication to customer service. Due to their efforts and responses, my review changed from 2 to an empressive 4. Thank you for the phone call and well done. Original review Disappointed. Limeridge Loc. Called and spoke with regards to my situation and if appointment would be 'covered'.Their reply 'not a problem'; therefore, scheduled appointments for me and another person together. A week before the appointment, they had to reschedule and made the appointments 40 minutes apart. When at appointment, ask to sit and wait. Small waiting area has 2 seats next to each other, with a person occupying the other. My payment situation 'is now a problem' and I am requested to pay($135) to see the doctor and maybe it will be 'covered'. Disappointing; I called 2 weeks prior to avoid wasting time and increasing exposure to covid. Side note: touching face without glove to apply eyedrops. 4 persons in small waiting room. Did not wipe surfaces counter; cc machine etc. after use.

Needed to get new contacts but was told only one person does contact orders and they weren't in so I had to call back in at another time. Not a huge deal but just really inconvenient. I went to see Dr. Komal Patel, who completed a very thorough eye examination. I can say that this is one of the most friendliest, knowledgeable and informative eye doctor I have seen. She explained the step by step process and answered all my questions and concerns I had in much detail. I had my eyes checked for the upgrade of my prescription glasses. I was diagnosed with macular degeneration many years ago. My daughter recommended to me Dr. J P Militar, a young male optometrist at Dr. Fallon Patel and Associates. This doctor exceeded all my expectations. He took time examining my vision. In addition to my regular opthalmologist, Dr. Militar explained to me in details what I should know about the condition of my eyes to my great satisfaction. He is highly relatable as he connects directly to his patients in a most friendly and compassionate manner. He is also equipped with knowledge and skills far beyond his years. It was such an honour and a delight for me to have come across Dr. Militar in the midst of this crippling pandemic. If all doctors were like this young man, the world would be a lot better. He will be my regular optometrist from now on. Last but not least, Chris, the lovely receptionist is also as warm, friendly and skillful. I wish them all success and joy. Stay safe, everyone!

Dr. Mansoor is a true professional who genuine cares about her patients. I called the clinic as I had an emergency and the wonderful receptionist, Widiana, who immediately took charge and fit me in, in spite of them waiting to close for the day. I was quite anxious when I first arrived but was immediately made to feel at ease - first by Widiana and then by Dr. Mansoor. I was never once made to feel that I was being rushed through the process as it was end of day for them. They were both very empathetic, patient, kind and knowledgeable. Amazing experience. Had a scratched cornea recently and was worried about being able to see a doctor during the pandemic. Called the office and they were able to see me on short notice - which was awesome and very helpful so I could make sure to start treatment right away. Terrible experience by Dr Ratnakumar. She was cold and dismissive and misdiagnosed a serious injury to my eye. She spent about 2 minutes looked at my eye with her ungloved hands and said I had an infection from dry eyes. What I had was a huge scratch to my cornea. It caused me unbelievable pain and resulted in me going to another doctor who properly examined my eyes. Dr Patel’s office also charged OHIP for an exam when I seriously doubt 2 -3 minutes is an exam. I have called asking to speak directly to Dr Patel but NO response from her. Very disappointing
