What an awesome experience I had yesterday. The front desk staff were wonderful and organized. Super friendly and polite. Ria took. Care of me in the examination room and set me up until Dr. Taji came in to do her magic. I went in for a contact lense fitting and the process was seamless , smooth. After suffering with a painful corneal abrasion and recurring bouts of eye pain, dry eye and inflammation, I was referred to Dr. Rana Taji at Toronto Medical Eye Associates where she suggested a stem cell membrane treatment for me. The procedure itself done in December 2020 has indeed been a game changer as I have not had any recurrences since! Highly recommend Dr Muneera Haji and Dr Taji at this clinic. Dr Muneera was absolutely amazing! Needed to get my daughter's eyes checked and she did a great job at ensuring my 3 year old was comfortable. Dr Muneera is great with children, especially if you are worried your little one might not cooperate. She played with my daughter the entire time, is super friendly, welcoming, and was very patient with my 3 year old's million questions. Took my mom to do the radioactive treatment for dry eye. She said her eyes feel much “lighter”, plus I can see that the colour of her lower eyelids is not as dark as before, which I think is a good thing. She is feeling much better right now. I have been a patient of Dr. Gray’s for decades, and highly recommend this outstanding clinic. More recently, I have had eye exams with Dr. Haji, and I am currently undergoing dry eye treatments with Dr. Taji. Just as with Dr. Gray, Dr. Taji and Dr. Haji are thorough in their exams; they explain procedures and treatments very clearly; and, you can sense their enthusiasm for their work and their compassion in helping others. Equally important to the clinic, the technicians - Ana, Ria, and Kevin - along with Annie, the clinic manager and administrator, are also excellent, personable, and take pride in their work. In sum, an excellent eye care practice where I feel I am being treated like a family member.

Made an appointment with Dr. Taji as she was strongly recommended by a friend. Although I don't live close to this clinic, the experience was definitely worth the drive. The entire staff is professional and friendly from top to bottom. The clinic itself is spotless and one can immediately tell they take health and safety very seriously. All of the technicians were thorough in the questions they ask and the tests that they conduct. It's nice to see this clinic participates in providing rotational experience for students when it comes to developing talent of future optometrists. The associate was again very friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable. Finally when it came to seeing Dr. Taji one can immediately tell that she has expert knowledge in her field from the way she communicates. She is extremely friendly and gives you that sense of sincere caring when dealing with you. She takes her time doing everything, the entire experience never felt rushed and she answered each and every single question I had pertaining to my eyes. While it's paid parking there and probably a bit pricier than other clinics, the entire experience made it worth it. I'll definitely go back again.

Before I began a course of dry eye treatments with Dr. Taji and the team at TMEA, I felt hopeless. I had suffered from the condition for some time without success in managing it and reversing the damage it was causing. However, upon my first appointment with Dr. Taji, that began to change. After the eye exams performed by her expert team, Dr. Taji set out a treatment plan with me that focused on radiofrequency for dry eye; at the same time, she helped to educate me about the condition. The high quality of care at TMEA was clear from the start. Hopelessness began to fade. After the radiofrequency treatments and prescription drops, my dry eye symptoms improved in ways I had not thought possible. The glands that had been damaged began to recover. I regained the ocular health I thought I had lost. An added benefit of radiofrequency is collagen production, which means that I got to improve my dry eye symptoms even as my skin has enjoyed a youthful glow. I'm grateful I sought out the help of Dr. Taji and her wonderful team, and I would encourage anyone suffering from dry eye or from any of the other conditions treated at TMEA to make an appointment. You deserve only the best level of care for your eyes -- and at TMEA, that's what you'll get.

Not only that Dr. Taji is kind and professional, but also her assistant (I am so sorry for I do not know her name) is helpful and attentive. I recently experiencing some issues with my left eye and was seeing ghosting of images and monocular diplopia (double vision). It was likely associated with impact and past trauma that caused some issues with the cornea and tear film stability. Toronto Medical Eye went above and beyond in helping we though this challenging time. From assisting with additional referrals to emergency assistance, they made sure that my eye was healing and helped me function. Their recommendation to proceed with a cornea stem cell treatment, PROKERA, ultimately helped to recover my vision and quality of life.
