My wife and I were in to see Dr. Hakimzadeh yesterday about reading glasses. This is a great location because they are right beside a glass and lens outlet, so it was literally just 10 steps over to see what frames to buy. The Doctor was very nice, listened to my concerns and prescribed a custom lens according to my needs. I work on the computer all day long. We will definitely return here for our annual check up.

Very disappointed -they have changed -got an email offer to re book on their automated system and they offered a time -I confirmed both appointments. Then we get there and they have no appointment for us and say that because their hours have changed you have to reschedule in the message . The booking message does not say that : it gives you a choice to confirm or reschedule -I picked confirm but apparently it did not because allegedly of their changes hours -to be clear I took the appointment they emailed me and offered but I was mad to look like I was wrong -so done -one of the staff is nice -but some are snippy -last examination had felt rushed too so I am moving on

Best Optometrist I have ever gone to. Impeccable service and care, always. Today is a perfect example of how they take care of their patients. I had a contact issue this morning, I was nearby so decided to go in to make an appointment personally. Before I knew it, I had new contacts in both eyes and Dr. Hakimzadeh was examining to ensure they fit properly. Angela was amazing, she knew there was an available free spot and quickly let me try the contacts on and took me right into the doctor's office. After that I was brought into the full examination room where within a minute the doctor came in and conducted the necessary tests. After the eye exam and seeing the doctor, I was given a prescription and left the office. After an hour, I was on highway 1 driving home. Then, I received a call from the staff asking me to come back because My pressure check is incomplete!! The doctor ignored staff’s note to do additional the test on me. I was feeling unwell and went to the clinic to have it checked. My expectation is to pick up prescription and rest at home as soon as possible. To spend on gas and time like a few hours driving back And forth in traffic of North Van and Highway 1 is the worst first experience with this eye clinic. Everyone is friendly. But their communication among the team seriously needs improvement. I am very unhappy about inconvenience happened yesterday.

Disappointing. Dr. Hakimzadeh came highly recommended by a friend, but I didn't feel that he listened to me at all! I have been wearing glasses for over 25 years and my prescription has changed drastically over the years to the point where I only use reading glasses, but I use them quite a lot. My eyes hadn't been checked in 4 years, so I figured it was time to give my old glasses an upgrade. He did a typical eye exam, then did ONE test with the refractor and came to the conclusion that I don't need glasses at all?! One test with the refractor?! I have been to many eye doctors since I got glasses as a pre-teen and there was always more than one test. It felt like he just didn't want to do the exam. I even brought my reading glasses in to the appointment and said they had been working well for me. He seemed irritated that I still wanted to keep the prescription from my current reading glasses because I use them quite a bit, so he hesitantly wrote an even lesser prescription than the ones I said have been working well for me. He didn't listen at all! I had also been having eye infections, and all he said was the creams the MD had prescribed wouldn't work, but didn't look at where I said the infections started. My eyes are still sore, so now I have to find a different eye doctor and pay another $115 to someone who will hopefully listen to me and do a thorough exam. The two stars are only for the lovely front desk women!

I went here because it was the only place that had availability on short notice—my usual optometrist was unavailable. Dr. Hakimzadeh just goes through the motions, like he couldn't care less. He wouldn't take and keep digital images of my retinas for future reference; and when I asked him about it, he said he will only it that when he thinks it's needed. Other optometrists (not just my usual one) take and keep digital images of my retinas for future reference. Dr. Hakimzadeh doesn't seem to think it's useful, like he doesn't care to see you again in the future. He also refused to give me a prescription for allergy drops unless he could actually see my hay fever symptoms. Other optometrists (again, not just my usual one) have all given me prescriptions based on my description of my hay fever symptoms. So I had to go to a walk-in medical clinic where I described my symptoms (because I wasn't currently suffering), and the doctor gave me the prescription.

Friendly staff and their attention to cleanliness and sanitation was exemplary. The optometrist was a young Persian lady who demonstrated her knowledge well. She was attentive to the concerns I had with my eyes and she took precise measurements which best suited my eye condition. Thanks to her, my new pair of eye glasses is like having 20/20 vision which I’ve never experienced in my life. No other optometrist in the past have adjusted my eye glasses prescription as well as she had. I highly recommend this eye clinic!

I have been going to Vision Optometry for over a decade and the doctors and staff there have always treated us like family. My son had some issues with his eye as an infant, the the doctor was patient and helpful, answering all of my many questions.
