The manager does not fully follow COVID protocols, by encouraging the removal of masks just to be kind with customers. This is a serious problem for the health and safety of customers. She seems very unprofessional and disrespectful in her job. She does not know what she talks about when it comes to optical. She adjusted my glasses and completely ruined them.

I have never worn progressives before, but the staff made the transition very easy and comfortable. There are some many frames to choose from and great offers to boot. Came in with the intention to purchase sunglasses, and was not greeted until I had already tried a bunch of frames on and actually decided on one. Staff was clearly giving attention to “better” dressed people, who looked more prone into buying something. Once I was finally approached, found the staff to be quite pushy and disappointed if you turn down the 2 for 250 deal. I’d assume they operate on a commission basis. The following day went to the Main Street location and it was great. Got my glasses from there, also found prettier frames there.

Was really excited for my glasses from Bailey Nelson. Had a positive experience with the optometrist and selected a style I loved. When I went to pick them up, the woman who helped me couldn't fit the glasses properly. She broke the first pair, and needed to get a new frame and try again. I went home and noticed they were lopsided and bent. I also noticed a green dots when looking at lights. I went back, and they were able to straighten it out. I mentioned the green light and they said it was likely a film from manufacturing and should go away... A month later, nothing changed and I went back. This started a long process of over five trips to the shop to get it resolved. During that time I also noticed many other problems emerge with my glasses (such as screws falling out and the staff bent the frame again while looking into the green light issue). I was left utterly disappointed both by the quality of the glasses and of the customer service.

The glasses are so pretty. People who work there are kind and helpful. But I am not coming back because of the blond woman they call the manager. Most annoying person Ive meet in a long while. Had to come back a second time because she did not customize the arms of the glasses when Ive purchased them. I later learn that arms need to be adjusted after a purchase. She needs to do her job right. I will be going to other BN locations now and on.

My first BN experience and I must say, I'm converted for life. From the friendly greeting the moment I walked in and all through my one hour there, ALL the staff was so friendly and helpful. I had an eye appointment with the doctor and it was the most thorough eye exam I have every had. I've been complaining of sore and tired eyes for years and within 5 minutes, she confirmed that I had an eye disease that can be easily treated at home. I had no plans to purchase my new glasses there but after spending a few minutes trying on a few frames, I was hooked. Not to mention the price is WAY better than my usual place. And thanks to Cat for taking pics on her phone for me when I left my phone in the car....And for recommending the Thieves oil:) I will recommend to all.

When glasses do arrive, frames were made from very cheap materials and the lenses were not right ( our eyes were hurting from wearing them. When I tried to return glasses store manger Catherine Carroll refused to access them.

The doctor there was horrible and a time waster. Clearly I went there for my eye check up for contact lenses fitting and the receptionist guided me to the doctor. He was explaining too many unnecessary things very slowly and that wasted half of my lunch break. At the end, after I said I purchased my contacts in Ontario, He mentioned that the explanation given was about fitting glasses. And he also added the price for check up for fitting contacts is a lot more expensive and there are more procedures. I was so upset and asked him how long it would take to complete all the procedures. He answered it would roughly take thirty more mins. I just ended up getting out of his office. After all, How is it possible that the doctor was not even aware of that the patient was there to buy contacts and he wasted my time and his energy explaining about something I did not even need?

Terrible customer service, we had a house fire which destroyed my sister's glasses and went to get replacements they put it on a vip rush and over a week later still nothing. Over the course of calling daily for 3 days with employees telling us "either today or tomorrow " we come to find out they were stuck at customs and they used a separate tracker. This is absolutely ridiculous. They basically lied and gave us the run around. We will not be using them again.

Service was ok, but the store had no air conditioning, the mall did but not the store. This resulted in the lens on the eye exam machines to fog up constantly, making it hard for me to read the charts. It also made it very uncomfortable and stuffy. I think the store should stop being so cheap and turn on their air conditioning, I understand business are hurting but if the customers are nit comfortable, you won't have them for long. My visit was on July 3, 2021

Well everything went smoothly the employee was a nice fellow from Australia new to Vancouver. I had a perception and plan though Blue Cross the employee wasn't sure,first time with my type of plan but in know time I had picked my frames And the order was placed! Excellent service and attention to detail when selecting frames. All staff were very helpful through to fitting the glasses for pickup. And above all the price was right. There is no need to pay for high priced frames and eye prescription lenses anymore!

Initial experience was very poor. The optometrist was fine - decent exam but the sales assistant service was bad - break with me to serve other customers, entered the wrong prescription into the order so when the glasses turned up I couldn't see. OK, mistakes happen, but then the sales assistant did not apologize, refused to offer a refund initially and tried to convince me that there was nothing wrong with the glasses and "I would get used to it". When I insisted on a refund - politely - she then said she felt " bullied". Pathetic. I have given two starts as I was called a week later by a manager who was very good - apologized, explained what had happened and offered a free pair of glasses as recompense. I hope that particularly sales assistant does not work there any more or at the very least got some customer service training.
