Have been a patient of Dr. Vijay's for almost 4 years now and the experience has always been pleasant. The staff try really hard to be quick and friendly and the wait times are much better than other specialist appointments I've had. I've witnessed many other patients be impatient and rude to the staff and doctor and they always try their best to accommodate everyone as best they can. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a doctors office.

Office extremely well run and professional. Highly recommend he did my husbands. He is very satisfoed with the caterac surgery. The negative reviews will refer to time Dr V was in another Drs office were the waiting times were brutal Dr Ketsey office. He is on his own now office runs like a well oiled machine. My optometrist had mentioned referring me to Dr Ketsey after reading reviews said I would not see Dr K

TERRIBLE service. I have been having high intraocular pressure and I am in my 30's. I am trying to get to the bottom of it. Getting an appointment was absolutely brutal. The wait once I got there was too. And then I met Dr. Vijay. I explained my symptoms and why I was referred. He checked my pressure and it was higher than it should be. He looked briefly and said he sees no evidence of damage so he will see me in 4 months. I told him that I am trying to PREVENT damage from happening and I am getting pain and blurry vision. He groaned and said 6 weeks then. He was irritable and spent more time looking at the monitor than at me. No bedside manner whatsoever. I had an appointment after the 6 weeks passed for first thing in the morning. I work nights so it worked well for me. The day before while I slept the secretary called me and left a message and told me Dr. Vijay will not be in in the morning and scheduled a new appointment in the early afternoon the same day. Without speaking to me to ask me if I was available. I called back and my NEXT appointment is now MONTHS away and I have no way of knowing if this episode will repeat itself. Terrible experience. Look somewhere else. I certainly am.

my daughter went to Dr.Vijay for her eyes at 8 months old (this was over a year ago now) we had to wait for a LONG time, so long... over two hours for an infant to wait, during her usual nap time, is absolutely brutal.. the waiting room is not baby friendly, and my daughter was crying and the one lady working behind the reception was asking me to pretty much shut my baby up in other words because she can't hear on the phone.... but at least the other people waiting for their appointments felt my pain and were very helpful unlike the staff who were very rude.. there isn't even a place to change your baby, i had to ask for an area to change her and the one girl looked at me like I was crazy and has extremely rude body language, but luckily the other girl was super nice and accommodating and let me change my daughter on a table behind the reception so that was very nice of her. in the end I waited a little over two hours just to be seen by dr.vijay for not even 10 minutes, none of my basic questions were answered, and I was told that I just have to go to Toronto to see a paediatric ophthalmologist (and he said the waiting lists are a lot longer than his) and that he can't help me at all. I felt like I was shuffled along like cattle and that my baby was an annoyance to them.. I understand they are not a paediatric opthamologist, but why even waste my time and make me wait the 4 plus months for my appointment, then over 2 hours in the waiting room just to be told they can't help me at all.. I wish I was told from the get go and sent to the proper place.. they clearly knew the patient waiting to see him was under a year old, so why even take the appointment? it seems like my appointment was like a money grab to charge OHIP...

Had an appointment with Dr on August 30 for eye surgery last year had too cancel cause I got a new job and year later won't take me back very poor service very stuck up now have too go see another specialist good eye doctor great way too lose patients wouldn't recommend them too anyone
