I have been to Dr's office before and reason why was my previous Dr. was forcing patients to have a picture taken of eyes and pay for it .Today I was in for an exam for eyeglasses, I was told that the exam is 175 CAD and the picture is included in this price, I left and went on web search ,other clinics are charging 90 CAD for an eye exam and the picture is not mandatory it seems .As far as I understand the doctors are and should be trained to look and see whatever they are looking for, with out that picture taken. It should be a choice for the patient if they want to pay for a very expensive picture to keep in doctors file, that he or she cannot access if needed for an other reason.
