I completed the Vision Therapy program with Dr. Hopkins after a concussion in 2015 left me struggling with symptoms related to my vision for 5+ years. The difference is astonishing! The sessions were thorough, the homework was always easy to understand and the needed materials provided, and Dr. Hopkins was extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and honestly fun to work with. The technology she uses is amazing and really gets a full picture of everything your eyes are doing and where they need to be to work properly. Before Vision Therapy I was constantly tired, my eyes would double often and I was walking around with limited depth perception, among other irritating symptoms. Now, I score in the "normal" or even above normal ranges and my eyes never fatigue to the point of doubling. I have also noticed a significant improvement in my balance, which was heavily impacted by my accident. While in the program I even began a successful return to work after 5 years off and between the two my endurance increased substantially! I just finished my 3 month check in after completing my sessions and my improvements have held steady or even continued to improve. I highly highly recommend this program for anyone who has suffered a head injury as well as those with children who are struggling with convergence issues, etc. I saw lots of happy kids leaving or arriving for appointments adjacent to mine! It truly, truly works and is worth every penny.

The Doctor was very concern about my eyes. And asked if I had any concerns about my sight. She checked my eyes, took deep pictures of them and showed me how they looked and was not too worried on how they looked. She said to come back next year and she will check them again.

Disgusting service by the secretaries, they are condescending and try to charge extra fees -when questioned about the fees say they have to talk to the dr and once they do there is no extra fee charged. They purposely make you feel intimidated for asking about the charges. They refused to give me my prescription without another eye exam which of course is another fee. This treatment happened the first time and I put it off to a bad day but the second time I realized that this is how they operate and the drs must be fine with this behaviour although not sure how they can keep any customers. Myself and 3 kids will now be going elsewhere

Smiles are fake and behind them are rude & mean people. Yes, everyone here smiles, until something doesn't go as they want then they don't hesitate to be rude and demeaning, including their doctor. You can't treat people like this. Their behavior made me & my little one hate going to any doctor. I have visited I think in January for my granddaughter and something didn't go smoothly for them and they didn't hesitate to show their real face although I have been very patient and respectful. Will never visit here ever.

If I lived in the Niagara area I would definitely see Dr Hopkins for my eye care needs. I called the clinic inquiring about a certain treatment and because I am an atypical case,Dr Hopkins got on the phone to speak with me. Dr.Robertson-Woods and her team are fantastic. I was 25 when she detected my glaucoma. I then saw an ophthalmologist that did a bad job on a laser procedure. I was in severe pain after the procedure and the clinic that did it said pain was normal, but I was sure this type of pain was not, so I called her for reassurance. She said it wasn’t normal. So she met me at her office after hours where she discovered an eye pressure of 76. She personally called other doctors to get me the appropriate help that night. If it wasn’t for the personal care she gives I would have lost my eye, but because of her I was sent to a world renowned glaucoma specialist who was able to save my eye. She has always gone above and beyond what is expected and for that I will be forever thankful. I absolutely recommend her to everyone I know.

The easy stuff. Parking was perfect, the shop including the washroom was super clean and well-lit. COVID proceedures were followed and enforced by the staff. Staff, from the reception desk to the boss/owner/doctor and many others in between were highly professional. I didn't feel rushed but the staff had a sense of urgency which l appreciated as my time is valuable. The doctor was thorough and l left the exam room feeling l had received excellent care. All of my questions were answered satisfactorily. When the exam was over the staff were all assisting other customers but took the time to outline the new COVID policy. They gave me the assistance l needed to make an appointment to have frames fitted at a later date as l could not wait. There was nothing that could have been done to make this experience better in any way. Highly recommended.

Very thorough and professional. The eye exam is painless. However, it is unfortunate that the dilation of the pupil is necessary, especially before the exam. It makes things somewhat blurry and lasts until late afternoon.
