Niagara Eye Care Centre is located in a central area, optimized for regional service. 3 doctors work out of this large and busy clinic with a full compliment of support and technical staff. The equipment is state of the art and the process of your appointments is efficient. Yes, you hurry up and wait if there is a bottleneck such as an emergency but the clinic environment is quite pleasant, not industrial medical. Local art work adorns the walls, wifi is free, Staff is pleasant and helpful. Covid-19 protocols were strictly followed. I saw Dr. Dudok for two surgeries over 6 weeks, including pre-op and post-op appointments. I never felt rushed through, he took time to explain and answer questions. His instructions for surgery and post-op are thorough. I was quite surprised at his kindness, having met surgeons lacking in that capacity. His skills as a surgeon are top-notch, the surgeries done in a local hospital were painless, comfortable and over in minutes. I can appreciate people being afraid of the unknown with eye surgery - and to that end, Dr. Dudok is ideal if you are apprehensive and want top-notch careful care. I do know he and his clinic colleagues are well respected by their peers. Seeing Dr. Dudok was a positive experience with maximized outcome, and I highly recommend this clinic. .

I have been coming here for the last year-and-a-half this staff are very nice and professional it takes the time to explain what they're doing and yes you're moved from room to room but that gives you a chance to look at the different paintings on the walls. My Ophthalmologist is very knowledgeable. I must admit admit my very first appointment with Dr. Ramtulla, I was very nervous (had had Cataract and glaucoma surgery performed by a different ophthalmologist at a different hospital and the results were not what I expected) To make a long story short I called Niagara Eye Care Clinic and was able to see Dr. Ramtulla right away....was diagnosed with phlebitis and given the proper medication to take. He tried several times to contact the ophthalmologist that had done the surgery, I if he had not stepped in like he had I would have been totally blind. He has performed laser surgery, cataract and glaucoma surgery. At first I thought his bedside manner could be improved upon. After I told him how I fel we were able to talk and communicate really well. Dr. Ramtulla and the staff at Niagara Eye Care Center are certainly a great fit for me. They are very thorough. They are certainly worth the wait. I look at it this way... he could be giving someone bad news and is taking the time to explain everything and answer some question. I don't mind waiting because that person could be me one day.

Wonderful caring doctors but wait times are ridiculous. 2 hours in waiting room almost all the time. Hard on my elderly parent to wait that long. Staff and doctors are great overall. Maybe scheduling patients should be looked into more.

Excellent service in a nice facility with lots of parking. The staff and doctors are skilled and efficient. THey are also generous to the Community. I have dealt with many Eye doctors in the Niagara and Hamilton regions and we in Niagara are lucky to have such a fine group practice in St. Catharines.

I went there initially last week and then again this week for the second appointment. wait times were fantastic. they gave me the forms to fill out last week and I got to maybe page two and they called me in so I had to finish the forms when I was done with the appointment. This week they gave me the bundle with all the things to read which I haven't even looked through it since I've been home but at the time I got to the page where it lists all the prices if you're going beyond the basic and that's when they called me in, so wait times are fantastic! I don't know why people are complaining about long wait times unless they've figured things out because some of them go back to the beginning of covid so it could have been that because they are only allowing so many people in at a time. when I left this week there was a huge lineup to get in and being a disabled person I would not have been able to wait in line. fortunately the two times that I've gone, I've gotten in the door, up to the reception, sit down for less than 5 minutes, do what they have to do and I'm out the door again I think a total of an hour. last week I was home within the hour but this time it was a more thorough session because I was with the doctor and then setting up appointments and whatnot. Hopefully when I go back for the lens measuring at the end of the month and then the surgeries in the new year at the hospital won't be bad. I'd like to add that all the staff were great and the doctor is very nice and very handsome ????

I had my 90 year old Aunt there on Tuesday April13 and she was there for one hour and fifteen minutes. With the state of emergency we are in it should have been in do the tests and out again.There is no way people that old need to sit for that long. Whoever makes the appointments needs to take these things in consideration . It is not always about

Everyone was professional and they were quite good at making sure I was comfortable throughout all of the tests. There was little to no waiting time and their COVID procedures were all in place and easy to follow!!

Having moved out of the area after my surgery, I Drove 500 miles (8.5 hours) from Sault Ste Marie arriving 45 minutes early for my 3:00pm final followup appointment from the surgery. I was then placed as the last patient of the day for my efforts, waiting 2 hours past appointment time to finally see the Doctor. I’m was not impressed with the staff and not planning a return visit.

Except for the very long wait times, the staff and especially the doctor that took care of my husband were amazing. Doctor took his time to explain things and answer our questions. One of the best eye surgeons around.

A single star is to much of a good rating . The candle my 3pm appointment at 253 that same sameday..calling mr at home. I just had a sliver of steel taken out of my eye...and was told that I was to go there. After I called them....they said 3pm. By not seeing me ,with the start of an infection is total negligence on there part. I would have graciously waited...3hrs to see a doctor. I got lucky to find another doctor at pm that day. Who help me out., me a another appointment Two days later. This is a complete incompetent place with no regards to people who are in need of eye treatment. I wasn't rude....I wasn't snooty. I would go there....I'd rather go to a vet.

Nothing but a money making sham. I was given the option of standard procedure cataract surgery with no cost lense insert or pay $200 PER EYE for what they said was a laser test they claimed was 5 times more accurate than the standard test. This was to take place Jan . We just got threw Xmas and I didn't have the money for it and expressed my concerns with these people that I can't afford it. So they didn't respect my wishes and OPTION they gave ME and they went ahead and tested me at $200 per eye plus an extra $100 per eye for drops after. I had no idea they tested me with this new laser until after it was done. They prescription they wrote wasn't covered and I got stuck paying an extra $100 for one eye. The other eye I asked if there were other drops they could prescribe that were covered and guess what? YES there were so I lost $100. They have no care for your financial situation and think only profit for them . In the end I'm not happy because now I have to use reading glasses and have to buy another set because my vision is far from 2020 and I need glasses now to see far.

Honestly - what does it take to reach someone. I have been trying to call since last week. I call between 10 - 12 or 1-2, when they are apparently taking calls. I sit on hold and get to caller #2 and the call gets disconnected. If I callback and think I can leave a message, which the option is provided, except you get through and told the mailbox is no longer taking messages. I am trying to open up some time for the people that need it...too bad I can't get through.
