Well, I must say, I was surprised, that I did not wait as long and soon i was in talking with the doctor. The service with the secretary was outstanding kindly and refreshing. Helpful and responding. The treatment was direct and explanations was most up lifting in clarifying all details. An experience that you usually do not get from a doctors clinic this days, because they are to overbooked and to busy to answer questions. The most of an answer you get is " everything is fine" but that is not the answer you were looking for, that means your question was not answered, and soon you have to leave the clinic, to the next time. That's mean in a year time. The most you get is 10 minutes in and out that is all in all kind of clinics. But yes, you can wait from an half an hour to and hour and half. Weird, would you agree! Well, 21 Century! I want to thank you for letting me be one of your patience and I am amazed that You have contacted Dr. Beiko already. They have contacted me. Waited over 3 months for my contacts. I was not contacted during this wait time to be informed of why it was taking so long (Normally comes in two weeks). They did not offer an apology or discount for the wait or inconvenience. When I asked for my prescription, because I was unsure if I wanted to order glasses or contacts through them again, they wouldn’t provide my PD measurements because they don’t make as much money if you don’t order through them. Three weeks ago, when I ordered contacts, I paid over $200 to have that prescription assessed and updated under the impression that it came with all the appropriate measurements. I received better customer service ordering a pair of glasses from Zenni Optical (online) for $20 and they arrived in a week. This establishment should learn that customer service is extremely important in 2019.

Upon entering the office, aesthetically speaking, I was impressed with the look and how the office was divided; it was a welcoming feeling. I was greeted by Lisa and asked to fill out a form. Shortly after filling out the form a preliminary exam was conducted by Ashley for the purpose of providing Dr. Spence with as much information as possible before the exam. Overall, the visit at the optometrist office was great; I was provided with valuable information by Lisa, Ashley and Dr. Spence who were all welcoming, pleasant and most of all knowledgable!! Smiles are fake and behind them are rude & mean people. Yes, everyone here smiles, until something doesn't go as they want then they don't hesitate to be rude and demeaning, including their doctor. You can't treat people like this. Their behavior made me & my little one hate going to any doctor. I have visited I think in January for my granddaughter and something didn't go smoothly for them and they didn't hesitate to show their real face although I have been very patient and respectful. Will never visit here ever.

If I lived in the Niagara area I would definitely see Dr Hopkins for my eye care needs. I called the clinic inquiring about a certain treatment and because I am an atypical case,Dr Hopkins got on the phone to speak with me. I really appreciated Dr Hopkins help and time answering my questions and showing genuine concern for me. Dr.Robertson-Woods and her team are fantastic. I was 25 when she detected my glaucoma. I then saw an ophthalmologist that did a bad job on a laser procedure. I was in severe pain after the procedure and the clinic that did it said pain was normal, but I was sure this type of pain was not, so I called her for reassurance. She said it wasn’t normal. So she met me at her office after hours where she discovered an eye pressure of 76. She personally called other doctors to get me the appropriate help that night. If it wasn’t for the personal care she gives I would have lost my eye, but because of her I was sent to a world renowned glaucoma specialist who was able to save my eye. She has always gone above and beyond what is expected and for that I will be forever thankful. I absolutely recommend her to everyone I know.

The easy stuff. Parking was perfect, the shop including the washroom was super clean and well-lit. COVID proceedures were followed and enforced by the staff. Staff, from the reception desk to the boss/owner/doctor and many others in between were highly professional. I didn't feel rushed but the staff had a sense of urgency which l appreciated as my time is valuable. The doctor was thorough and l left the exam room feeling l had received excellent care. All of my questions were answered satisfactorily. When the exam was over the staff were all assisting other customers but took the time to outline the new COVID policy. They gave me the assistance l needed to make an appointment to have frames fitted at a later date as l could not wait. There was nothing that could have been done to make this experience better in any way. Highly recommended.
