I've been seeing Dr Fichte for over 25 years!! Extremely knowledgeable! I chose him to do my LASIK procedure a few years back and I'm beyond happy with the results! One of the best choices I have ever made to improve my quality of life!! Dr Fichte is the best in the area!

About Three years ago I went to dr Fichte for cataract surgery on my left eye and picked the multifocal lens to be able to see far and near. After surgery my vision didn’t improve, probably became worse. I saw one of the other physicians in the group who gave explanation which turned to be wrong. Finally when time went by with no change I was told the lens that was placed is the wrong power I had a second surgery by another ophthalmologist to correct it that failed Until now I still have problems with this eye.

I don't know about the Doctors but the staff is pretty bad. First the said they would call me back to arrange an appointment for a retina problem. They never did. When I called them to see what had happened they claim that they couldn't help me and sent me to a Doctor over an hour away. I found one right here in Niagara. But, I still made an appointment for a routine exam. They called today canceling the appointment on my voice mail claiming I didn't have the right insurance. The truth is, I did, they were looking at how my insurance would change at the 1st of the month. Total incompetents ... Don't waste your time..
