The worst experience of my life....very rude and ignorant towards me.....I got no help picking out glasses and they were both very short mannered....the manager was nasty and mean....Dr. Rick Howlett put the very first pair of glasses on my face at 4 years old 41 years ago and the last was just bought from there....The minute these ladies found out I'm on income support the whole experience changed and if they smiled their face would have cracked....I just can not believe and I wonder how dr..Howlett would feel if he knew his customers were being treated like this ....we will see because I plan on getting in touch with him....but for the mean time...I'll call the BBB...

Very good service and very kind and helpful staff! They fix my frame in few minutes and never charge me for parts or labour! I'm so happy to recommend Howlett R J Dr! You are the best!

Horrid experience. The in-store experience is ludicrously bad, really rude staff. Too boot, they sold me a pair of corrective lens with the prescription rate still written on the lens, I have been told they are "sample lens'" (by another Dr.). When I asked both the Lewisporte and GFW office to explain, the only response I could get was "Wow, you can see that?" Can't wear the glasses as my eyes are always trying to focus on the small print on the lens. Disgusting service. Also wickedly overpriced, save your money and your eyes, avoid at all costs.
