Two new great optometrists owners that speak collectively English, Mandarin, Spanish and Korean. Also a huge selection of designer frames and sunglasses. There's free street parking as well on Hamilton St.

My first eye exam here was a fantastic experience. It's a really nice clinic inside and they have lots of updated, stylish frames. Dr. Chi is so friendly and easy to talk to, provides lots of info freely as she's going through the process, and has a great sense of humor. The two ladies at the front desk are helpful (although could be a lot more friendly when you first come in the door..) and Yema (spelling?) gave me a smoking deal on a pair of gorgeous Tom Ford frames. Very happy!

very affordable eye exam, and thorough. My Optometrist took lots of time to go over the results, she explained every step of the way and answered all of my questions. Normally I am told I have too many questions, but not at NW Eye Clinic. I am very happy with my visit there. If you are looking for an Optometrist, you need to book your next appointment here! I have worn glasses for 30+ years, and will be going here from now on.

Dr. Chi is very nice, I'm really happy with her. But the overall clinic isn't that great. The receptionists were rather absent-minded. Even though I was scheduled an eye exam for a specific time, I had to wait for it, and then instead of one hour, I spent 2 hours at the clinic. They don't value they customers time.

I live close by and went to New Westminster Eye Clinic Optometrists for my annual eye exam for the first time last month. Very thorough exam with Dr. Wang, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The store is well organized and offers a huge selection of glasses and sunglasses. Anything they don't carry, they are happy to special order for you. Highly recommended this place to all our local friends.

This place is apparently under new management and it shows. I went there because i believed that my contact lens was stuck behind my eye and I was clearly in distress. The receptionist said that they couldnt do anything until I had an eye exam and youwould need to schedule an appointment. i then asked well is there any sort of tip or trick you can recommend to so that maybe I could do it myself, she replied there isnt anything. i found her dismissive, unhelpful and rude. At the end of our coversation she got up walked away and started speaking to her colleague in another language, clearly sating something about me. The previous owners were great, helpful and attentive. The new staff really need a lesson in customer service. You know its bad when you literslly live in the ssme building as the business and you wi live upstairs in the apartments above the office and I take my business elsewhere.

Dr. Jennie Chi is fantastic, she was so thorough with my exam, took the time to answer all my questions and didn’t rush over a single detail. Overall, I had such a great experience and will remain a forever client! Often the front end gets overlooked with reviews, so I have to point how lovely, caring, welcoming and personable the front end team is. :)

I brought my girls to this clinic the 1st time. I have to say it's the cleanest one that I have been to in a long time. Dr. Wang spent approx 30 mins with me and was very detailed in her check up with me and answered all my questions especially regards to my LO who has a rare eye condition. Her wide selection of eye glasses and sunglasses are what attracted me to her location. Overall I would recommend her as a go to children and family friendly eye clinic.

Went in to get a complete eye exam earlier this month. Not only was a thorough examination done, an eye stye that was bothering me for the past bit was checked out. The optometrist removed it for me! That was a great surprise bonus :)

I was devastated when I found out that Dr Wang no longer worked at the eye clinic that I used to go to. With the power of internet, I found Dr Wang at New West Eye Clinic! I'm so happy that I was able to find her as you will not find someone who is as thorough as Dr Wang's eye exams. A few years ago, Dr Wang suspected that I had a detached retina and sent me to see a specialist right away to get it resolved. Since my procedure, I go for annual eye exams to ensure that my eye is good - and what care I get from Dr Wang! Dr Wang is also very patient with young ones and puts them at ease. My daughter is typically very shy but she was very talkative with Dr Wang. Oh, and what a great selection of glasses - they even carry Asian fit! I would not hesitate in recommending my friends and family to New West Eye Clinic!

Rarely do you find an eye clinic that can meet and exceed the needs of an intergenerational family - Dr. Rosita Wang and Dr. Jennie Chi are two knowledgeable, patient and thorough experts that can relate to my aging parents and at the same time put my preschoolers at ease for their first eye exams. The front end staff, Llema is similarly exceptional at what she does. I require safety glasses for work and finally after 10+ years of wearing some that doesn't fit my face, I was recommended a super comfortable pair. Recently, it even worked at my dentist office when the adult protective eyewear didn't fit during my appointment. The moment you walk through the clinic door - you are welcomed in and treated like a "valued" patient. Your eye health which can affect your overall health was handled with genuine professionalism throughout our visit. My family has found an eye clinic for life!

Took my 5 year old son in for his very first eye exam to this location. He was nervous, but Dr. Wang was so kind and patient. The tests were fun and age appropriate and he ended up loving the experience. Whenever we drive past, he always says he wants to drop by to "play" the eye games. Very grateful to have such a positive experience. BONUS: we found him some really cool sunglasses to boot!

The first pair of Ray-Ban was broken (one lense was very loose in the frame) and the second pair of sunglasses are damaged too (both lenses are defective). The customer service is terrible - once you buy, they ignore you. 4 months later and I'm still waiting for a response from the manager.... Also, the manager makes you think she is giving you an amazing deal - don't fall for that!! PS. don't mention that you have any kind of benefits, they will try to milk you ;) The doctor was nice. Take your prescription and get your glasses somewhere else.
