I visit Coquitlam Optometry for all my family's eye care needs. It is a very welcoming atmosphere with state of the art technology. Dr. Mithani has a professional attitude and is very knowledgeable. I have been visiting his office for the last 6+ years. I have recommended his office to my colleagues and friends and they have had positive comments about their experiences. His support staff is very caring and they all have been very helpful during all our visits.

Excellent Eye doctors and I Highly recommend this place!! My family and I go to this eye doctors office for all our eye check ups and the atmosphere is warm and inviting every time. The staff is always friendly and helpful and both eye doctors there are incredibly amazing, patient and gentle and make going to the eye doctor fun, for me and my 4 kids....I love this place and I will continue to go for years to come!! :)

PLEASE SEE MY UPDATE AT THE END OF THIS POST It should be a one star but the staff in the front were quite nice and understanding. I asked them before I brought my Maui Jim's here last summer to get the lenses replaced, if they are familiar with the brand? They told me yes absolutely! I also asked if it is possible to change the lenses (prescription) to something a bit cheaper than the actual Maui Jim lenses and the response was again, absolutely no problem! I took my glasses back twice now because of the lenses keep popping out all the time. Last summer I took it back twice, they said it was fixed and in their case they go for winter. I used them again this past week and low and behold, the lenses are popped out again. Although it was not $700 lenses I expected it to not be a problem and at least when you fix it, do it properly the first time. I will never go back. UPDATE: ???? After my review, I was contacted by the optometrist, (I think the owner?) He left me a voicemail with both his cell as well as office number to contact him and try and resolve the issue. I took the sunglasses back and it was fixed at no charge. I picked up my sunglasses on Saturday and will monitor this week to see if the same issues arise. I have to say though, I was very impressed with how this was handled. Not only did he leave me his personal cell phone number, but was in constant contact via text to get the issue resolved. The staff in the front were very courteous and helpful as well.

I went in to update my prescription, get anew pair of glasses and order some contact lenses. The optician, Sameer was very helpful and patient with me as I tried on numerous pairs to find the right one for me. He was professional and took great care in helping me select a pair of specs that fit my face properly instead of just selling me a pair any pair I liked as most opticians would do. 10/10, would come back again!

Dr Mithani is very professional and kind. I brought my 2 young daughters there for glasses, and one of my daughters needed different prescriptions for each of her eyes. Dr Mithani was very knowledgeable about how to care for, and improve the vision in her eyes as she grew. Today, her vision is much improved as he predicted and my daughter is very happy. The team of professionals at Coquitlam Optometry are all very accommodating and make us as clients feel comfortable and attended to. There is also a good selection of designer frames, sale frames and FREE frames to choose from. Highly recommend!!

The store owner really stands behind his products and will assure that you’re satisfied with your glasses. I’ve had an issue where the lens would pop out of the frame. It turned out that the frame was not suited for my prescription lenses. When contacted, Dr. Karim took upon himself to help me find another frame and redid the glasses for me. Very satisfied with the service and the professional approach I’ve experienced.

Dr Mithani is amazing! I’ve been to so many eye doctors and he is the best one I’ve gone to by far. Very professional and cares for his patients. It’s also relatively easy to get an appointment within a few days. While the centre is a bit far for me, it is worth the trek. Highly recommend

Me and my husband went to get our eyes check, grabbed prescriptions, and some fun sunglasses! We had Sam help us, and he was wonderful! He is so knowledgeable and finds you a pair of glasses that actually suit your face, rather than sell you the most expensive pair. We both enjoyed our experience, also the Drs. are very nice and provided great tips on how to prevent eye strain! Highly recommended!

Great reception, but one of the most disrespectful, awful Ophthalmologist ever I’ve seen . Very rude , grumpy, Forceful , unhelpful . I’m not sure how many Dr.s working here . It was a recommendation to go here but I would never go back here again. I don’t recommend it to any friends or family. I’ll find name of that Dr and will add it to my review as I don’t want to leave review for any other doctors in this place except the one who I visited.

Best service ever! Great selection of frames from budget to designer and they stand behind their products. I went in with my son's damaged glasses, hoping they could be repaired. Happily they were under warranty, and they had his frame in stock - new frames in just a few minutes! And she noticed scratches on his lenses so she is ordering a new set. I have been going to see Dr. Mithani for over 8 years now, and will never go anywhere else! He is extremely thorough, has a reasonable exam fee, and he seems to be really up to date with his technology in the office. His eye exam prescriptions are always on par and he always take times to explain the health of my eyes to me after the exam (he really seems to care about his patients.) Leaving the exam room and entering the hands of the opticians was too, a wonderful experience. They seem to know everything and anything about lenses, glasses, contacts and anything else I want to know about, and are able to explain it in layman terms so that even I feel like an optician! They always manage to find me a phenomenal pair of glasses and just the right lenses so that I don't end up with coke bottles (I have a high prescription.) And heck, their prices are always great, and they deal with my insurance company directly (bonus!) Thanks Coquitlam Optometry Centre - you have a client for life!

Been our family's optometrist for over 5 years. The eye exams are always very well conducted and comfortable. The optometrists on staff are also very patient and friendly with young children. The receptionists are friendly in the phone and booking appointments is easy. Their sales team and customer service is top notch. This is all to be expected when you go to small locally owned businesses like this. I recommend anyone give them a try.
