I had no idea why but my balance and depth perception seemed to be getting worse and I blamed my age (73), although I’m an active senior and it was disheartening to be ‘clumsy’ scampering over logs at the beach or running up and down stairs. I’m a voracious reader but was also noticing it took longer to read a book. I often had to re-read portions...so annoying. Then a friend who’d been treated for concussion told me about Dr McCrodan and how new glasses and ‘eye homework’ had helped her with her dizziness. I’d had a concussion injury 3 years prior but scans and physical tests through my physician didn’t show anything alarming, however when I had neural vision testing done by Dr McCrodan, he zeroed in immediately on the messaging pathway being interrupted from my eyes to brain! A simple prism he added to my old prescription made a huge difference in my ability to see correctly! My vision, my balance, tracking, and hand eye coordination improved immediately right there in the chair! I was astounded actually. Immediately bought glasses in his eyewear boutique with the new prescription and everything improved from there...especially reading for which I’m so grateful, and my Pickleball game! Highly recommended for anyone who’s suffered even a mild concussion! Please get your eyes checked at this neuro optimization clinic; it could be a life changer! (Also effective for dyslexia). There are truly no words to properly express our gratitude to Dr McCrodan and his team of all star staff. Last year my husband (a healthy 39 yrs) suffered a very rare ruptured brain aneurysm, directly impacting his vision and brain processing. Over the last 25 weeks we have attended either the Victoria or Nanaimo offices to complete a specialized and custom tailored Visual Training and rehabilitation program. We have learned so much and can't impart how amazing the program is. All the steps built each week to assist my husband in regaining control of his eyes and strengthening the connections to his brain to become healthy and functional again. Along all steps of my husband's journey we literally had 24 hour support for questions and concerns, weekends included. This went A LONG way in calming our fears and anxiety. My husband received emergency brain surgery our of town on the mainland last year and we have felt very isolated and unsupported where we live here on Vancouver Island, UNTIL we were referred to Dr McCrodan and his team. It was truly like an answer to prayer!! The whole process has been long and hard, but it is so worth the end results. We will NEVER forget this part of our journey. We look forward to watching my husband continue to heal and are thankful for the team of staff that rooted and cheered us on, who offered unwavering support and information. Dr McCrodan fine tuned the program when needed, looked further into options when challenges arose and has become a long time friend with his kindness and support during the toughest months of our lives. We will forever be grateful. I can only hope that this helps whoever is reading this make a decision that WILL positively change you life forever. I would highly recommend Dr. McCrodan and his team. Very professional and friendly support team and Dr. McCrodan himself is extremely knowledgeable and caring. He provides a very thorough exam and offers solutions to conditions most other health care professionals struggle to help their patients with. Dr. Cam and his team are amazing! The difference we saw in reading, writing and hand eye coordination in 40 weeks was unlike anything I could have imagined. Sara at the front desk was so pleasant and made my son feel right at home at every visit. Sue worked with my son Jackson for 40 weeks and was beyond patient with him during his less focused sessions. He was so sad to say goodbye to her at his last session. I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for their help and I’m sure we will be seeing their hard work pay off for Jackson for years to come. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I been suffering from headache, and dizziness for over a year after my car accident. Then I start seeing doctor Mcroden. When I started my vision therapy I started to feel the different with the headache and with time the dizziness start to be way better. It might sound too long to have every week appointment for almost 6 months but by the end I am so happy that I did it it helped me so much and it reduced the pain and headache I have I use to be so scared to drive at night after going there I am driving again at night time I do highly recommended it to anyone who has a bad headache and dizziness also don't think how long it will take just do it you wouldn't be sorry at all

Leslie is the real MVP. I never acquired services here because I called the wrong number, however she provided me with numerous clinics to visit to find what I was looking for. May I mention I called 15 minutes before they closed and she still went above and beyond!? I’ve worked customer service for many years and been on the receiving end of employees who are nearing the end of the day and don’t seem to give a sh*t about you. But not my homegirl, Leslie.
