Took my 90 year old mom for an eye exam with Dr. Singh. We had a pleasant visit and he spoke to her very calmly. He checked her eyes and put drops in each eyes while she sat in her wheelchair. Dr. Singh had to kneel to check her eyes and made her very comfortable. He explained everything to us and referred us to a specialist. The visit was easy for us and the receptionist helped us with a taxi and took care of the scheduling with the specialist. Thank you 20 20 Eye Care

I was flying through Pearson on my way to Iceland. While there, I realized that I had packed 20 daily lenses for the trip, but had mistakenly packed 20 for my left eye instead of 10 left / 10 right! I called up Dr. Singh. He was able to see me immediately on a SATURDAY. With a flash of my prescription he was able to get me a set of trial lenses in a comparable brand to last the duration of my trip. They worked fantastically. If I was local, they'd have a customer for life. He really saved my trip. A trip to Iceland is not one you want to go on while not being able to see!

I came in to get my kids eye check up. The staff there was very patient & friendly & had a wide variety of frames for kids as well as for adults. He’s very patient and considerate of his patients and does his best to ensure the patient understands the problems at hand and the possible steps to remedy the situation. Very thorough in both his standard eye exams and treatment of any infections/diseases. It’s clear he cares about his patients and providing excellent service as opposed to focusing on selling products - which is a nice change from the typical experience! Dr. Singh is a fabulous eye specialist. He took great care of my eyes. You get good vibes the moment you enter the clinic and you're greeted nicely. The doctor took time to explain the steps he was taking so I was not left in the dark thinking "oh my God what's happening to my eye now!" My wife was looking to try out different eye examination locations and she found 20/20 with overwhelming good reviews. Intrigued, I wanted to experience as well. We arrived 30mins late for appointment but upon arrival we were greeted by the owner warmly. He gave me a complimentary bottle of water before anything. So far his has demonstrated expert level of customer service and professionalism, he asked and answered a lot of questions. I give him, Dr Singh a 5/5 personal score. Will update my final impression when my examinations are done. Edit: We finished our eye examination and Dr Ampreet Singh was indeed very helpful and professional, he explained a couple of our optical health conditions and treatments which I appreciated. He started very professional and went beyond. Keep up the good work. Dr Singh.

1. No hand sanitizer anywhere in this office that you can use as soon as you step in. Is this office aware that there is currently a GLOBAL PANDEMIC? 2. No greeting upon arrival -- they really act as if you're there to disturb them. 3. I had an exam with Dr. Herman. I don't think she has a clue what she's doing. When I would mention that the letters are blurred from one lens switch to another, or that some letters are visible while others end up being blurred in a letter line, she would get visibly frustrated. I'm sorry -- didn't realize the purpose of an eye exam was to make sure I get everything correct the first time I see the letter sequence with eyes that have prescription lenses!! She would literally start sighing, or ask me about the letters again and then simply tell me what the letter was. I would not recommend this office at all. I have a prescription now that is the exact same as the one I had recieved 3 years ago from another office -- she said it was "great" that she was able to match the same prescription because this meant things hadn't worsened... Even though I mentioned that my glasses were blurry to me now and I felt like I needed stronger prescription. Huge waste of my time and I left super disappointed. Nothing about eye exercises even after mentioning that I was working from home now. Speaking from experience with eye clinics, you will not receive the treatment you deserve in a comprehensive exam at this clinic.

I visited 20/20 twice. Dr. Singh was personable and attentive. The service from the receptionist, however, was not particularly customer-focused. She left me waiting (appeared to forget about me both times), and gave me a difficult time when I returned a pair of lenses that unfortunately irritated my eyes. That said, the store itself is lovely, has a great range of vision products/solutions, and Dr. Singh personally followed up with me regarding the lenses and the return. It's obvious he cares a great deal about his practice and his customers, and offers a genuinely caring and personal approach that is frequently lacking these days. I would highly recommend 20/20 based on his excellent service.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Singh and 20 20 Eye Care. I'm new to Mississauga and was having severe dry eye problems and didn't know anyone or any optometrists nearby. I came across 20 20 Eye Care on Google, saw the great reviews and decided to make an appointment with Dr. Singh. I'm so glad I did! Dr. Singh (the optometrist at 20 20) is highly competent, knowledgable, patient and thorough. Not only did he take the time to thoroughly examine my eyes, he also discussed the problems as well as treatment plans with me. He made sure I understood what was going on and was comfortable with the next steps. Additionally he booked a follow-up appointment with me free of charge so that we could see if the treatment was working or not. The clinic is clean and the other staff are kind. There is a large selection of designer eyewear available at fairly reasonable prices. I didn't end up getting frames at the clinic, but I will be back to see Dr. Singh and would recommend anyone of any age or eye problem (or lack thereof) to give this clinic a try!

I went to 20/20 Vision because it was easy to get to from both work and home and I can't tell you how glad I am that I did. I used to go to Hakim Optical and would have my eyes checked at their connecting optometrists so I never realized how minimal their checkup is until I went to Dr. Singh. He not only checked my prescription but he also checked the overall health of my eyes and caught some minor problems I was never aware of (and I just had my eyes checked last year!!). 20/20 Vision only carries designer brands so be prepared to pay a bit more than if you went to your local Hakim and bought their in house brand frames but it is so worth it to pay for a quality product and also to be absolutely sure of your eye health. Dr. Singh was very friendly and obviously knows his stuff and the front desk ladies were so nice and helpful. Definitely recommend 20/20 Vision! UPDATE 02/06/17: Received my glasses today and due to a complication with my insurance they unfortunately couldn't file direct billing for my prescription. This, of course isn't a problem. I was given a discount for my glasses and contact lenses which was nice but was NOT told i would only be able to pay debit or cash. When I went to collect my items and attempted to pay by Visa I was told I couldn't pay this way. This was difficult as I didn't have cash or enough money in my debit card to pay $900. I was caught off guard and this could have lead to a very embarassing situation but, thankfully, my mother was there to save the day. IF YOU RECEIVE A DISCOUNT PLEASE KNOW YOU CAN ONLY PAY CASH OR DEBIT HERE. Management, please kindly tell your clients this when you offer discounts. Anyways, I am still happy with my glasses and contact lenses and Dr. Singh is a top notch 5* practitioner of optemetry. I still highly recommend this place! Just make sure you have cash!

I am very happy with my eye exam and new glasses that I got. Dr. Roxana Herman is the best! She not only made me feel comfortable with my exam, she also went above and beyond in ensuring that the drops were put in properly but also gave me techniques to relax so I don't move. Raman the administrative assistant was an amazing man himself who went out of his way to patiently let me try the glasses and thoroughly sanitizing them too. I decided to purchase a pair of glasses from them as well. There a purple frame! :) For someone that is on the Autism Spectrum, she did everything she could to keep me safe and comfortable. It was well worth the trip to Mississauga to get my eyes examined. I went there because the eye exam was $100 while other doctors were charging $165 in Toronto but the trip was well worth it plus she made me comfortable to ask questions and gave me a lot of details for my eyes but also took note of my Autism Spectrum. This is the best optometrist I've ever had. :) She even patiently worked with me to get the eye drops in to even check my pressure and also to see the entire eye. I've never been a fan of eye drops but her techniques worked. Also, she explained everything in detail including the questions that I asked as well. :) Furthermore, I like the diverse workplace and I am happy they also appreciate diversity and respect the Ontario Human Rights Code!

I have been to many other optometrists in the past but Dr. Singh has been the best so far. He carefully listened to whatever I had to say and answered every question calmly. The only thing that I found a bit annoying was the wait time. I was told that the wait time could be anywhere between 10-15 minutes but I actually had to wait for about 45 minutes. The overall experience was pleasant however. Will definitely visit them for my next eye checkup.

I researched online for a place close to home and hopefully someone that had good credentials and knew what he is was talking about as that seems to be a rarity for doctor's these days. I decided to try this place out. As soon as I came in I noticed Dr Singh, he is very caring and very attentive to everyone that comes in. He was in the middle of talking to some patients that came in the door, and made sure to answer any question on the spot. You can tell he loves what he does and he loves working here. A breath of fresh air to deal with. Very understanding, and funny too! Makes you feel at ease in the appointment. I was injured and from a car accident and needed extra time for the eye exam and he was very patient with me, taking all the time I needed. I found Dr. Ampreet Singh via an on line search and although I was sceptical about the 5 star reviews, I took my son who had serious eye problems to him. It was an amazing experience overall. He was thorough, knowledgeable and a great person who took the time to diagnose properly. My son is improving rapidly under his treatment. I then went to him myself as I now felt I had not only found a doctor whose skills and expertise were top notch but someone who truly cared. I had injured my eye badly, luckily I had the sense to go straight to 20/20 eye care after the injury. It was extremely painful and I was not able to open my eye. I was able to feel the scratch when I would blink, and I knew it was a this injury was serious. I walked in and explained the situation to the reception, in which Dr. Herman immediately took me in to examine the injury. To make a long story short, I am able to see again. I would like to thank Dr Herman whom initially treated me on the day of the injury for her skills and her talents. I would also like to thank Dr. Singh and all the staff for their concern and follow up. I shutter to think of what may have happened, if I have not went there immediately. Thank you once again.

09/2021 I wrote a terrible comment last year, and Dr Singh begged me to erase it, saying he would fix everything. Such a joke. If you want to lose time, health and money, go there. I beg all the parents not to go there with toddlers or kids who are too young to complain.There is a very serious issue of quality. We went there with our 4 kids because of the good reviews. We have lived in 3 countries and saw 4 optometrists who all made the same diagnosis. At 20/20 Eye Care Mississauga, we were told the kids all had a wrong correction, and that they all needed new glasses. I was seeing very well and never had glasses. I was also told I needed some. A bit surprising, but fine. We trusted the optometrist. Bill : more than 2000 $ for 6 appointments and 7 pairs of glasses. One year after : 1) Kid 1 : was given glasses for the first time for +1/+1. Doesn't need them nor use them. 350$. 2) Kid 2, 6 years old : very high correction (+5/+6) since 5 years. Stayed for 3 months without glasses thanks to 20/20 Eye care. The glasses made for her (+6/+7) took 4 weeks to arrive. And one lens fell on the first day because cut incorrectly. We took them back, and the lens was supposedly fixed. The lens fell again 6h later. 3 months later, we finally got the glasses, and my kid kept saying she was not comfortable with them (she’s been wearing glasses for 5 years now, and never complained). 3) Kid 3, 4 years old : day glasses arrived with a quality issue (scratches all over after 2 weeks). Replaced.... to get a right lens displaced - pic below. This summer, she kept saying she didn’t want her sunglasses, on sunny days on the beach. I found it strange. I went to an optometrist nearby to check the glasses… You win ! My daughter is supposed to wear +3 and +4. Her lenses were +3 and +2.5 ! And they were of different quality (one had a blue reflect, the other a white one - see picture below). But who cares about a 1.5 pt of difference on a 4 years old kid ?! Certainly not 20/20 Eye Care. Dr Singh said he had huge doubts about our complain since the glasses were 1 year old. Yeah, we were stupid enough to trust Dr Singh, and didn’t think we’d better have all the glasses checked right after going out of his shop. Ironic : good lenses we bought nearby are cheaper (150$) than the defective ones (350$). So Dr Singh offered to refund the good ones. Still waiting on it. So we paid 200$ to damage our kid's vision during one year. 4) Kid 4 : 2y old : was given glasses for the 1st time. 1st pair of glasses had one lens much thicker than the other one. We brought them back. They answered it was normal and came from the quality of the glass. So you use two qualities of lenses on one pair of glasses and it’s normal ? Is it a joke ? For 350$ ? They replaced the lenses. We believed the story was over. This summer, we brought the baby’s glasses for a check at an optometrist nearby : she is supposed to have a +2/+2. The day glasses were +1.75 and the sunglasses +2.25. Which means when she switches glasses she has a 0.5 difference. When we contacted Dr Singh he said “he was not sure where this came from”. Er…. From an optometrist ?! He offered again to replace the defective glasses. Thank you, but no. We’ll get glasses done by people who are trustworthy. At this point, we are not even sure she needed glasses. We’ll see when she has a check up – with a certified optometrist, this time. 5) One year later, I still can’t use the glasses I was given. They were replaced last year. But I still feel nauseous and dizzy, and I can’t sleep when I use them. Another optometrist told me he had the case, and it comes from the blue filter. Since I tried to use these glasses, I also lost my ability to see when it’s dark. It never came back. Anyway, Dr Singh told me the glasses were made for reading, and I don’t need glasses to read. Which I said twice in 6 months. I was told to keep them for later because I’d surely need them someday. Ah. So I spent 500$ for “maybe someday”. And "someday", I’ll have to choose between sleeping and reading. That must be customer service.

I am still wondering how this place reached such high review score. Did I get a bad luck of the day? 1) The doctor didn't have her professional training on how to treat an aged patient - complaining or even blaming her patients in her office; 2) Doctor charged us on what she didn't do yet. My message for the refund left to their website went to a black hole. 3) The office receptionist failed to tell us what to prepare for eye exam - e.g. a substitute driver. 4) When I asked, the receptionist did not want to book another appointment for our rest unfinished exam, in stead, she wanted us to call back for it - not like 4.8 review score at all. My feeling was that she wanted to kick us out as it is. Should not have gone to place and never again.

I had a severe bacterial eye infection just few days before the Christmas long holidays in 2017. Called several optometrists in Mississauga without any luck for an appointment. Time was critical due to immediate forthcoming long holidays, then got lucky, called 20/20 Eye care and explained my eye condition. Dr. Ampreet Singh was kind enough to accommodate me on the same day, examined me thoroughly and prescribed me an antibiotic eye drop. Asked me to see him for a follow up check up on 25th December (X-mas eve holiday). To my surprise he did open the Clinique just for me. Went through the 2nd cycle of eye examination and made some changes in prescription to deal with the nasty bacterial infection. Four days after went for 3rd checkup and by then I was 100% well. From my three visits to 20/20 Eye Care I can conclude that Dr. Singh is very skillful, did a thorough examination, explained the illness and medication doses in details. This entire procedure made me to have a full trust and confidence in him. I would highly recommend him.

My recent eye exam by Dr. Singh has been by far the most comprehensive eye exam I have ever had and he was able to treat eye problems I was having that had been previously undiagnosed by other optometrists. Was in need of an optometrist and an updated eye exam and after some research, found Dr. Singh's office that is located in a convenient outdoor mall near my home. Dr. Singh's office accommodated my appointment request quickly and once I attended for my eye exam, I found Dr. Singh to be extremely professional and thorough. He answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns and further offered to provide me more information on any matter that I might still be unsure about. I also purchased my new revised set of reading glasses from his location and am very happy with the results. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Singh's services to anyone needing an eye exam or glasses. His professionalism has made me a client for life.

Don’t go here unless you wanna be racially attacked. I went in for an eye exam with Dr. Herman and she was very unprofessional. She would not stop mentioning how awful and “unbelievably bad” my prescription was. I asked her if I would be able to get contact lenses and she just laughed at my face and told me no way. Her comments were extremely unprofessional. After my exam she told me I would have to find specific glasses because my nose was “veryyy wide”. I can’t believe how discriminatory she was. I definitely will not be returning to 20 20 eye care. Dr. Herman should not be working with people.

I had eye problem and it needed to be attended right away. I called several clinics, only 20/20 Eye Care gave me the same day appointment. The receptionist was genuinely nice and considerate. Dr. Herman was amazing. Her professional skills and attitudes impressed me. She was amicable and considerate. The way she disinfected the instruments thoroughly made me feel comfortable. She took time to explain to me and made sure all my concerns were addressed. The Comprehensive Eye Exam fee was reasonable ($100) and prescription for the glasses was given (other clinic charged me $158 and no prescription). I typically don't write review, but she deserves it. Highly recommend!

I was not sure of all the 5 star reviews posted for Dr Singh but now can safely say that it seems right, in fact I also moved my two kids under Dr Singh's care who do not want to visit another Optometrist than Dr Singh. He's a real professional, first of all he does not crowd other patients in the time slot allotted for a patient as I have seen other doctors doing, takes time to explain and is in no hurry till you understand exactly issues with your eyes and preventive care, he goes out of the way to make you comfortable, knowledgeable and accurate diagnosis with your eyes . Visited this location roughly a week ago for an eye examination. I am very impressed by the level of professionalism and dedication 20/20 Eye Care has to it's patients. I arrived early for my appointment and while browsing frames I was approached by the receptionist (apologies for not remembering her name) who was very friendly and offered me assistance while I waited. Shortly after I was greeted by Dr. Singh who began my appointment. Dr. Singh emanates passion for his profession and I immediately could tell he genuinely cares about his patients. We spent roughly an hour going through my required tests and Dr. Singh was kind enough to explain and elaborate on each procedure (I know he did not have to do so but this was very much noticed and appreciated!) Dr. Singh and staff a big thank you for the excellent experience! I will surely be back and will definitely spread the word to my family and friends who require eye care :)

Went here after reading all the great reviews and I’m very glad I did. Dr. Singh and his staff have been amazing. Dr. Singh was kind, informative and very thorough with the eye examination. He answered all our questions and asked us to contact him anytime we had any questions regarding our vision or our glasses. My wife would get headaches every day, and when we went to Dr. Singh, he uncovered that her glasses were the wrong prescription and that she been prescribed the wrong prescription by our previous optometrist. Thanks to Dr. Singh finding this error and helping us out.

Doctor Singh is the best optometrist I’ve ever seen . He is not only very kind and understanding but also extremely knowledgeable. I’ve been seeing him for 2 years now and he diagnosed my specific EKC eye infection where no other doctor including physicians could diagnose and offered extremely effective treatments where not many doctors have solutions for . I was a cataract patient, and instead of spending money repeatedly on spectacles, Dr. Singh advised to have it operated, also suggested surgeons who would do it. Urgent! Last night my 3yr old decides to poke me in the eye, and my eye was becoming bloodshot. I didn’t have anytime to see an optometrist let alone go to the hospital, because I had to drive the next day to Toronto for my other sons training. My eye became more red, and irritable, I had to see someone now, but who? So my wife searched for a clinic and read some quick reviews, and I called 20/20. They were awesome!
