From start to finish the process was easy, I was made to feel comfortable, and the results are phenomenal. I chose Image Plus because I wanted the best in the city - when it comes to my vision, I didn't want to cheap out. I am so glad I made the choice I did. My recovery took hours instead of days, there have been no complications, and the process itself was much less scary than I had anticipated. Kudos to the staff and the Doctor for doing their jobs with such precision and professionalism!

I had laser eye surgery for the first time 20 years ago, it worked fine but 18 years later my vision started to deteriorate so I wanted a touch up. This time I used Image Plus and what a difference in service! At the first company, I had one follow up visit a week after surgery and that was it. At Image Plus, I now have had 5 follow-ups over the last two years and another one scheduled for a year from now, all at no extra cost! I highly recommend trusting your vision with Dr. Wiens!

I had Lasik on Jan. 4, 2020, so it's been exactly a month since the surgery. I had an awesome experience. I've worn glasses since I was in elementary school and I now have 20/10 vision. Dr Wiens is very knowledgeable, and the rest of the staff were all very kind and helpful. I was in the operating room no more than half an hour. The staff told me exactly what would happen during each part of the operation, and even turned on the laser machine so I would know what it sounded like (as not to be startled during the actual procedure). After leaving the surgery, it felt like I had cut up a bunch of onions and my eyes watered for about an hour. I took an extra strength Tylenol (they provide you with) and fell asleep for four hours. When I woke up, I had no pain and was good to go. I saw haloes around lights when driving at night for about the first week or two, but that has gone away now. Overall, I am very happy! It's really amazing not having to wear glasses. I can see the clock at night, wear sunglasses, and I don't have the hassle of having my glasses fog up every time I wear a scarf!

I got PRK eye surgery in the beginning of April 2019. I had better then 20/20 vision within a week of the surgery and it keeps getting better. Dr. Wiens and his staff were very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. They spent the time to make sure I understood everything and was ready and prepared for what I would experience during and after the surgery. Having the opportunity to meet with Dr. Wiens before booking the surgery made for a great experience. (Years ago, I had tried going to the “discount” clinic and they wanted to change my procedure from Lasik to PRK when I was already wearing a hair-net). I never felt rushed during my time with Dr Weins, and he gladly discussed all of my questions/concerns with me. This isn’t the “cheap” option for laser vision correction, but your eyes are too important to go to anywhere less than the best.

Dr. Wiens is not only an outstanding surgeon but also clearly cares more about your eyes then the money. I had a rare condition regarding my cornea and he convinced me to wait for the surgery so he could track the changes in my eyes over a number of years to make sure it was safe. He took the time to do this at no expense to me and with no guarentee that I would go through with surgery. This year he said he was comfortable moving forward based on the data he had collected. I went in for surgery on wednesday and was seeing well above 20/20 when I woke up thursday morning. The surgery was non invasive. It was really quite fast and comfortable. Fantastic staff! The manager Larrie is very out going and helpfull.

I had my laser eye surgery after Manitoba re-opened non-essential services from Covid-19 lockdown. They took extra precautions like masks, sanitization and spacing clients out more, for anyone that might be concerned about such things. The service was great! Dr. Wiens and his eye care team are all very friendly and answered any question that I had about surgery and recovery. Day of surgery went pretty quickly and with no issues. My eye sight is better now after the surgery than it was before I even needed my glasses! I am very happy with the service and quality of life that Dr. Wiens and the Image Plus team have provided.
