My family doctor wanted me to see an optometrist as soon as possible. I was experiencing problems with my vision due to a medical problem. I saw Dr. Lenarcik saw the same day. My exam was not a routine one, it was very important to have a thorough exam and diagnosis. The women at the desk were very friendly and professional. They were very skilled at performing the diagnostic testing. Dr. Lenarcik was friendly and approachable. He was very kind with regards to my personal situation. He showed and explained my images and what they meant. He was reassuring. My visual disturbances are very frightening. Now I know why they happen which has put my concerns to rest. Dr. Lenarcik discussed other eye issues such as the dangers of blue light (as my five year old daughter was sitting there playing games on my smart phone). My experience was a very positive one. I booked next years' visit without hesitation.

Dr Dar, as we call him, is very thorough, patient and extremely detailed on his forward thinking. His office reminds me of a doctor's visit in my home country France 20 years ago when doctors actually took the time to care for you and your family. Dr Dar''s appointment's aren't quick, you can count on being in his office sometimes for an hour, but you know what!? How much is time important when your eye health is in play? He is as well, by far the best when it comes to contact lenses as he tweeks until he, and the customer (myself) have comfort and the best vision with your contacts. Despite the Covid-19 restrictions, I was able to get an appointment in 72 hours. The time was very convenient. All protocols were observed. I did not have to wait more than 10 minutes to be attended to. I recall having to go to several rooms 2 years ago but now, they are very efficient. The staff were Friendly and professional. My family had our regular eye check up with Dr. Dar Lenarcik. He was fantastic! Very informative and thorough with the exam. He was super pleasant, personable and fun during the appointments. Their office has a fancy, high tech eye exam machine that takes pictures of parts of your eyes that can be missed during a regular exam (which is exactly what happened in my case), which I found as something worth noting here, as I've never seen this machine before and thought it was an impressive measure their office has taken to ensure a very thorough exam. Overall a great team, and definitely will continue to have our eye checkups with their office!

The service we received from that clinic was the worst experience we (me and my husband) ever had in our lives with optometrists. We scheduled two appointments for 2pm and 3:30pm. The personnel first did some test for my husband, then few more people, then me, while they haven't done with one client at a time they took other customers for some vision tests. Usually the doctor serving one client at a time, but here was like a carousel of customers going back and forth. All the vision check procedure took us about 4 hours!!! 4 hours we spent in that place!!! So we finally was able to go home at 6 pm. Moreover, at the very end, when we felt completely tired, the doctor he tried to sell us prescriptions for lenses $35 OR we can buy lenses from that location only at no charge!!! As well they told us that they always take pictures of "Optos wide-angle retinal images" without even telling us that we should pay $45 so the doctor could open them in front of us and give some explanations. It was a disgusting experience we ever had! Why they clinic didn't explain what regular vision check include and what not, I clearly understand that this is made for the promotion purposes (like doctor mentioned it during our discussion), because more student will be attract by the price of $85, while during their visit the doctor will say the horror stories about his previous clients, try to compare us with them to show how is important to know this information, and will definitely try to up-sell or cross-sell services! I'm customer and I don't like when I'm treated this way, I know what it is needed for me in order to keep track on my eye health. We just wanted to receive honest service, and we don't get it. I just wanted to warn you guys, so you will be prepared better than we, when you will go next time, I'll definitely never go there again! Thank you for listening =)

Normally I don't have much "brand loyalty," but I've never had a bad experience here. I started seeing Dr. Linarcik when the LensCrafters guy noticed the prescription I had been given was for contacts (AKA not for glasses). He called my old optometrist, and they had never bothered to make a glasses prescription for me. LensCrafters recommended Dr. Linarcik to me, they made an appoitment right away, and saw me later that day. Before then, I never would have described a visit to the optometrist as "pleasant," but now I always leave smiling.

It is true that appointments here take longer than in other places (about 1h 10 min if you need new contact lenses). But for me it is always worth the wait. Dr. Dar is very patient and knowledgeable. His approach is always personalized. I first came to him in 2009 after struggling for several years with my ill-fitting contact lenses. He was able to make the right diagnosis and find the right brand of lenses for me. (There are so many brands on the market and they all feel differently.) I LOVED the lenses he prescribed. This year that brand was discontinued, much to my dismay, but once again Dr. Dar proved himself. He did some research and found a great alternative for me. I know that I will never go to another doctor, even if the service is faster in other places.

He was very attentive and really catered to issues I had with my contact without me even bringing them up. He suggested a new contact lens brand for me to try and use and they were instantly better. Good service but so inefficient. For a routine, basic eye exam I spent 2 hours in the office. Not exaggerating. 40 minutes waiting, then the assistants did all the eye tests, then back in the waiting room, then a few more tests, back into the waiting room, then again once more. Doctor was nice and gave lots of info on eye health but I would prefer a streamlined visit in less than half the time. Second visit for prescription tweek--same thing. I will not return. If my appointment is at 3:45pm why I am still waiting to be seen at 4:21? They need to fix their scheduling methods- clearly!

I started going to Dr. Lenarcik because of his convenient location, but convenience was brought to a whole new level today when Dr. Lenarcik did eye exams on myself, my wife, my toddler, and 8 month old baby. He was thorough and patient (the key with two children). His office is a "well oiled machine". I believe he was seeing other patients concurrently, but between seeing him and the testing with his friendly technicians, everything ran smoothly and we were seen in a timely manner and did not feel rushed. I would highly recommend Dr. Lenarcik to anyone.

I was a little nervous since I haven't had one in a long time. I'm glad I went in as my right eye was having some serious issues with focusing. This was my first visit to Dr.Lenarcik and associates. I was happy as I was able to get an appointment within a week. The staff at the clinic were very pleasant and welcoming. Dr.Lenarcik took time during my exam to answer any questions that I had. He also performed an eye exam on my young daughter. He was able to grasp her attention and make the exam enjoyable for her. During our visit he was professional, charismatic and amiable. We will definitely return.

The doctor didn't bother showing up for my appointment. I made a 3pm appointment for an eye exam and waited for 45 minutes before asking the receptionist (who was very nice) where the doctor was and how much longer the wait would be. She called him and he wasn't even in the office but was driving in.. fully knowing that I'd be sitting around waiting and that he'd be really late. It's pretty funny that I get a million texts, calls and emails leading up to my appointment to confirm that I'll be there, yet the doctor can't find the time to make it. So unprofessional. Book your eye exam elsewhere.

I switched my optometrist when I moved to London a little over two years ago to Dr. Dar & Dr. Karolina Pniak. I have had nothing but positive and pleasant experiences with both Dr. Dar and Dr. Pniak. There are really professional and are very emphatic. They have really high tech equipment. In-fact they helped me get into my contact lenses and have always provided me the support I needed. My vision actually got better since I have become their patient. Even during the pandemic the Doctors personally called me and ensured I didn't run out of my supplies and even sent me my lenses at home. I would highly recommend them if you are in the London Area, especially if you are a Western Staff or Student.

Dr. Roma Pushka is very impatient, brusque and unprofessional. She is also lack of knowledge about vision treatment options. She couldn't answer our questions and got annoyed and then provided self-contradictory information. We are very disappointed with her services and will not use her again in the future for sure.

I had been coming to this clinic for several years. The last time I attempted to make an appointment the secretary claimed to have no record of me ever visiting their clinic, essentially meaning they lost my patient records. She said they would 'look into it' and proceeded to book my appointment and confirmed time and date. I showed up 10 minutes early for the appointment and was told that nobody had booked an appointment, despite my having phone records of the booking call and confirmation in my calendar. This place is completely disorganized and should be avoided. Find a clinic where they dont lose your patient records and are actually capable of keeping a booked appointment.

I’ve never done a review, good or bad, but after reading A.W’s over the top review I knew I had to chime in… it seemed quite exaggerated based on my numerous experiences at Dr. Dar’s office. Who waits for 2 hours without talking to the front desk staff regarding the delay? It’s my understanding that Dr. Dar has 2 kids under 3 and no family support in London, so if things come up I can’t blame him for putting family first. But then the staff relay that message to customers so that they can decide on waiting or rebooking. And the insistence to purchase contacts at this office is very far from what happened when I came in as well. On my first visit to Dr. Dar’s office, all I wanted was to buy more contacts. I had been foolishly overwearing my lenses to save money, and had ripped my last lens. I called Dr. Dar’s office because my prescription is pretty high and I can’t see much of anything without contacts. I also had no glasses. Even though Dr. Dar sells contacts, he said he couldn’t because I had an infection in my eye which needed to be treated first (didn’t surprise me, my eye was pretty red). He strongly recommended I get glasses instead until the infection was gone. That conversation took about 2 minutes max, and the people at Lenscrafters next door were awesome—my glasses were done in about an hour! Since then I’ve given my eyes a break from contacts on Dr. Dar’s recommendation. Also, Dr. Dar really cares about people’s well being. When I called in a panic he skipped his lunch and saw me the SAME DAY!! My former eye doc offered me an appointment in 3 weeks, knowing that I had no lenses to see with! And then more recently when I called last-minute when my glasses broke (yes I’m a clutz), Dr. Dar stayed after-hours to see me even though it took away from his family time. Dr. Dar is a solid doctor and a great person in general. And his clinic rocks! I’ve recommended him to many of my friends and family.

I've been to this office 3 times. The latest one Jan/18 will undoubtedly be my last. The wait time was absolutely unacceptable....11:30 appointment and the last time I checked my watch before Dar Lenarcik made an appearance was 1pm. The experience with him didn't improve to say the least. He didn't seem well and insisted on shaking my hand twice which totally grossed me out considering how many bugs are hitting people this winter. He left during my exam to deal with a walk in who wasn't happy with his contacts. Came back irritable which didn't improve the annoyance I was feeling already. When he wanted me to consent to more tests I'd had enough. I had other things to do and hadn't planned on spending most of my 1 out of 2 days off a week waiting in his office. I won't even be using the $99 prescription I got as I have no faith in the examination I received from him. In short, I will never return to this optometrist and would not recommend him to anyone whatsoever. From reading online reviews, I know others have had similar experiences. I have to admit that I have no issue with the 2 times that I was examined by the optometrist that apparently is his spouse. I find it amazing that in this day and age a business owner can act the way he did and still stay in business.

This eye clinic has the most wonderful, caring and attentive doctors. Dr. Agoston fit me into her busy appointment schedule as an emergency patient after I had scratched my cornea the night before. She did a thorough examination and was patient and answered all my questions. Dr. Pniak was the doctor who saw me as a followup appointment a couple of days later. She also did a thorough examination and prescribed a followup treatment. A terrific experience during a terrible time when I was panicked and in a lot of pain. Both doctors were very personable while professional. Happy to say I am 100% better!

He takes time to answers any questions you may have and educate you also about all the technology and tests being performed. It's really hard to believe this clinic would get anything less than a 5 star review. Dr. Dar Lenarcik really takes his time with patients and while this may mean appointment times are a bit longer, patients who are looking for a thorough eye exam can be assured that they've come to the right place. I've got a family history of high blood pressure and diabetes and the health of my eyes is very important to me. I've been to too many optomistrists who didn't even dilate my eyes when conducting my annual exam! Dr. Lenarcik has state of the art equipment, he offers the newest technology and he took the time to answer all of my questions instead of rushing me out the door so he could take his next patient. The most important part of my experience was the trust he built with me as a patient.
