Today I had my first visit to the Willowbrook Optometry Clinic and was pleasantly surprised by the quick and efficient testing of each of the people I came into contact with....they were friendly and fun and before I could finish my cup of Tim Horton's I was finished with my new prescription. I went next door and chose my new glasses. All done in a relaxed way with no waiting around.

They wrote me a new prescription that I could not see out of once filled. I returned and they said there was nothing wrong with the prescription and that the glasses were made wrong. I had the glasses re made and same problem with blurry vision in one eye. Using my old prescription from a different place I can see perfect. I had my lenses remade using my old presciption and boom.. crisp and clear. I posted comments regarding this on Williwbrook Optometry Facebook page and it was immediately deleted. I will never return to this place and would advise others to steer clear (no pun intended) based on my experience with them.

Friendly staff and doctor! I brought my four young kids in, and the whole team was kind to the kids, explaining the process and helping them to feel comfortable. They were excited to get a pencil/sticker at the end of their visit. Dr Dhaliwal was great at explaining to me what the kids needed in terms of their eye health and eyewear. Covid protocols were carefully and efficiently followed, and we all felt very safe during our time in the office!

The office gave me verbal pupillary distance for online work prescription safety glasses purchase necessary for work and also online purchase of regular glasses.. Staff never told me it was an estimate. I ordered the glasses and I can't wear them. I could not figure out what the problem was until months down the track until a lenscrafters employee told me they need to physically measure the pd. The one at the optometrist office is only an estimate. I took this is up with the office and he claims that it was correct to order online! I cant wear two pairs of glasses at my own expense and this place refuses to take responsibility. I will never shop at lenscrafters or go to this optometrist office again.

In spite of the current pandemic, chatting with the girl at the entrance and the one doing the preliminary exam was relaxed; Everything done in the exam was explained. We even joked about the images in the machines (sorry, don't know what those things are called, but one of them shows the image of a farmhouse that is long overdue for replacement! Questions we had were answered promptly and thoroughly. We moved two years ago but are happy to include the extra traveltime to keep coming to Willowbrook for our eye exams!

UPDATE 3 Weeks later and still no call from the owner. You must not be serious about responding to customer concerns. Receptionist wouldn’t order in my contact lenses before my upcoming eye exam. They don’t care that it usually takes 10 days to get lenses after you order them and you may need a pair in the meantime. Just lost a family of customers who have been coming there for 9 years.

I usaly get my eyes tested here made mistake of going to fyi doctor they remade my glasses 3times my prescription still does not feel 100% right but they won't remake them. If I do my appointment here can I bring in my glasses I payed a lot for to lens crafters just for new lenses with new prescription u guys give me. just don't want to have to pay for new frames as well.

They are quite inflexible. I dropped in to have my prescription verified and the doctor who examined me only works limited hours. They wouldn't let another doctor in the clinic verify my prescription and I can't get my schedule to align with the original examiner. So now I am paying a different clinic to do a fresh measurement. Go to Costco, save money and it's a lot more convenient.

Dr. Solmaz Pourvali was really good with explaining things and fielding my questions throughout the testing process and while discussing the health status of my eyes. Dr. Dhaliwal's assessment of my eye problem, was carefully explained as to what had happened, and showed me pictures of my eye to assist the explaination. His staff booked a specialist appt for me again in rushed order. I greatly appreciate that as well and the advice from them should the situation with my eye worsen to call them immediately or go to emergcy for treatment. I could not have asked for better care. Had to stop going here.. failed to order contacts for me on multiple occasions. Last time they screwed up before I left town for work and was stuck with very poor quality lenses as a substitution. Lenses were so bad I had to discontinue use and go without good vision. When I returned the poor quality lenses they refunded me for the unused portion but offered no compensation for my time or inconvenience.. there’s dozens of places to go don’t let these people waste your valuable time.

The office and examination rooms have the latest top equipment and they are always white glove clean and sanitized . Your eye care is their priority. I have been going to Willowbeook Optometry for aproximatly 10 years, if not longer. I highly recommend them for their excellence!.

My first appointment went well, except they failed to tell me for my contacts there would be an additional $60 cost (that insurance doesn't cover) for an "eye fitting" even though I've been wearing the same brand of lenses for 15 years. I scheduled the eye dilation for this weekend so I don't have a headache and work and they called me 30 minutes before my appointment to tell me that the other person who set up my appointment was incorrect and I'd need a whole new eye exam and they wouldn't be giving me my prescription today. I'm out of lenses so screw me, I suppose. Will not be coming back.

I am so happy with Dr. Dhaliwal. With my eye exam he immediately noticed I had an issue with my left eye and got me to stay longer for more tests and discovered a hole in my retina. If he wasn’t thorough it would not have been detected. I now will be off to a specialist and while not happy I have this condition; am relieved it was discovered before too late! I highly recommend this clinic. Everyone was super professional and very careful in their pandemic protocols. I felt very safe there!!

Went in to refill my contact perscription and they said I couldn't until I had a new exam,even though I was on my last two daily contacts.Christmas eve day still didn't have time for an eye exam and now wearing one contact called and asked if I could at least get two contact lens samples til I could book an eye exam.Receptionist said sure but they were closing at 3.30 because was Christmas Eve.I said i was on my way.Get there at 3.25 there two gates and all there lights were off,no one there.Not happy,will not be returning.Hope the ten minutes earlier you left made you happy!!

Save your money by seeing someone else. They make you pay for the services, that are covered by MSP like injury or medical issue. When i asked the receptionist that other optometrist bill MSP for these services why don't you? She said it's really upto the doctor if they want to charge client directly or bill through MSP and also its our policy to charge $60 for visit. ***When you can get free exam at other clinics why spend money here.
