Very unprofessional. The receptionist lost my referral initially, then when I showed up they had lost it again, I emailed it to them from my phone so I could see the doctor. When I finally saw the doctor she was annoyed that I had questions regarding my upcoming eye surgery, I ended up getting the surgery done privately at Lasik MD partly because of this. My pharmacy sent her a request for a renewal on prescription eye drops a year after my surgery. She did not respond, I had to call her receptionist multiple times so they would fax it to the pharmacy. I did not hear anything from my pharmacy for a week after this and then I foudn my new perscription in my mail. Who the hell mails a perscription? Like faxing technology has been around since the 80s. Very annoyed with the way these people do everything and would never let them touch my eyes.

Normally perscription extensions run smoothly, but in this case my doctor was away for a month. I called ORIT COHEN, the person who runs the large office there, and even though this situation was not her direct responsibiity, she took charge of the situation and within MINUTES I received a call from my pharmacy to let me know my perscription was extended! It's this kind of teamwork that makes a huge impact to the customer experience. Bravo to Orit Cohen and Eye Health MD!!!!!!

i can't speak to any other doctor but Jesia Hasan is THE WORST.should not be an MD much less a specialist she is unprofessional cold late. dismissive and essentially useless - as for the clinic the staff are rude the waits are endless; terrible experience in every possible way. (also not wheelchair accessible despite MANY elderly patients *and at least one paraplegic!)

My wife has been coming here for a couple of years. They have no respect for their patients. Expect to wait a minimum of 3 to 4 hours after your appointment. The last time we were there, one of the crucial machines wasn't working, so rather than advise their patients, they just left them sitting in the waiting room for well over an hour and never mentioned it to anyone. Horrible, horrible service. I feel bad for anyone who has to visit one of these specialists. (The doctors seem excellent, it is the clinic that is not well run)

Dr. Lederer is arrogant, verbally aggressive and condescending when talking about my eye concerns. He seemed very knowledgeable, but I did not enjoy the experience at Oeil Santé/Eye Health. Technician was a very stern, stoic person. I felt like a paycheck and not a patient. I spent a small fortune to find out there was nothing I could do about my vision problem. I think it is possible to receive free eye care from a hospital, but I was referred to the clinic by an optimist.

I am thrilled with the professionalism and the efficiency of the clinic. Dr. Kavalek has been an incredible miracle worker to me and my eyes. On the other hand, the wait times are very long and frustrating. I understand that cleanliness issues do tend to slow things down, but I wish the clinic might alert people to the wait times. If we knew, perhaps we would be more patient. But that said, I have come in post-op and have always felt that that I was not annoying people by dumping an extra patient visit on the system.

This week I took my very frail 88 year old grandfather to his appointment at Eye Health MD. All of the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful towards him. The technicians were very sympathetic and provided the necessary assistance that he required due to his limited mobility. I was amazed at how punctual the staff were - he was hardly kept waiting! Dr. Lederer is a very competent and conscientious doctor, who was very willing to take the time to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Lederer!!!

I took my mother here for her eye check-ups. They have good doctors and professional staff. Even though the receptionists might come off unfriendly but they are really professional and helpful. Keep in mind that the clinic is very busy, dealing with a large amount of clients is not easy. Highly recommend this clinic. PS: the parking is pretty small for a big building with various offices. At peak hours 10am onwards, it is hard to find a spot. I always ask for appointments early in the morning to avoid this issue.

Doctors are excellent... Once you get there... Over 20 people waiting before you can even talk to a receptionist to let them know that you have an appointment! No way they can respect your appointment if you can't even cross the reception for almost one hour! Good doctors but very poor management.

Centrally located, spacious. Lots of technicians that are friendly and helpful. What I did not like was waiting almost 3 hours for my appointment; which made me late for work. Not enough Doctors to see the amount of patients that are booked. One of the receptionist implied it is normal to wait this long which I found to be obnoxious. If I wanted to sit in a waiting room for hours I would go to the hospital and not pay for service that is so disorganized. This is not acceptable. It is highly unprofessional, guess it’s about the revenue and who cares if you wait 3 hours,? If you plan to go there be prepared to wait a long time as this appears to be a normal experience. The Dr was very nice though and understanding. Not sure if I will go back due to the long wait time. Maybe when I am retired and have time on my hands to sit around.

Some people are just way too hard to please and think they deserve the world! My experience at the clinic was nothing but pleasant. The staff were friendly and professional. My appointment was just for a check-up and it took 3.5 hours!! Megan, the receptionist, sent me to the waiting room and said I had no tests to do. After 2 hours I went to ask her about the delay and she told me arrogantly to go back to my place and wait. Then I asked a light hair technician about my file and he told me that the receptionist was wrong, i.e. I had to do 2 tests. After i more hour I had my tests done and took the line for the doctor. I did not complain to dr. Saheb because, honestly, he is the only reason I am still coming to this clinic!... Otherwise, I would go to a different town just to avoid this unacceptable waiting!

I have been a patient of Eyehealth MD for one and a half years. My ophthalmologist is Dr. Jesia Hasan. She has attended to my visual problem in sixteen appointments. I have found Dr. Hasan to be most caring, knowledgeable and very professional. When it is my turn to be seen by her, I feel I have her full attention to my particular situation. She delivers my eye injection with skill and confidence. What may have been a frightening experience for me is not, fully due to her kind consideration of me as a unique individual. To think that anyone would use hurtful and insulting words when describing Dr. Hasan in a review is nothing but outrageous.Those words are simply not true. She is a fine example of how a professional doctor should be and I am grateful for that.

J’aimerais bien souligner non seulement le professionnalisme et compétences de Dr. Hasan, à qui nous devons la reprise d’une qualité de vie à ma mère, mais également je veux souligner ses qualités humaines. Pendant les deux années que nous avons pu fréquenter Dr. Hasan, elle s’est toujours montrée d’une rare compréhension avec ses clients, douce et patiente, elle a pris le temps, malgré son horaire chargé, d’expliquer les traitements et les résultats obtenus, calmer les inquiétudes. My review of Eye Health MD is based on almost three years of monthly visits. On my first visit I was full of trepidation partly due to the shock of the recent diagnosis of wet AMD and the extremely youthful appearance of Dr. Hasan. However the option of not seeing out of the centre of my eye coupled with Dr. Hasan being extremely well recommended by a leading cataract specialist ophthalmologist led me to put my faith in her and her team . Dr Hasan went out of her way to get me into a study that resulted in both eyes being closely monitored and not just the afflicted eye Yes you sometimes have to wait to be treated but you have to also have to sometimes wait to be seated in the best restaurants . Dr Hasan always takes the time to go over your eye scans with you in detail gives you an extensive visual eye exam and discuss with you what she plans for you in the upcoming months. The staff led by Shane ,Jessica ,and Vlada are a pleasure to deal with to the point that as incongruous as it seems I actually look forward to my appointments even though I am getting a needle in my eye . I only wish all the medical professionals and specialists I deal with were as well organized and involved . Due to the close monitoring of my situation they were able to diagnose my other eye getting afflicted very early on. When the Lucentis drug failed to produce the desired results she quickly made the decision to move to Eylea which resulted in the damage totally reversing itself . So as the song by Johnny Nash goes “ I can see clearly now “ and it’s all due to Dr Jesia Hasan and her devoted staff

Brought my mother in for an assessment with Dr. Albert. Was well received by the receptionist, was professionally treated by the technician who first examined my mother who was very experienced and knowledgeable. She was kind and explained everything to my mother. We then proceeded to meet with the ophthalmologist Dr. Albert who was excellent. He was professional, kind, explained every detail to us both. The Ophthalmologists are very professional and experienced. Anyone who has negative reviews just doesn't make any sense.

I saw Dr. Albert..Great experience..Clinic was efficient and clean.The wait was NOT too long..The eye health professionals were super!! Dr. Albert was very good!! Examination of the eye was done quickly and very skilled..Yes, was an uncomfortable eye exam ,but DR. was Excellent,and did it quickly with minimal discomfort!!!!

Went to see Dr Lederer a few times who really had very poor tact which borderlines on being rude. A lot of the patients there are elderly and he should show the same professionalism as his staff does. A+ Staff, C- Dr lederer. I would not recommend him to anyone else. As for the Building, parking can be tricky but they have someone to point out places to park which is helpful.

The Doctors in this clinic are incredibly knowledgable. Dr. Sanft was a delight, took her time with me, and made me feel very comfortable. There was a small wait, however, the care given to me was well worth the wait.

The clinic is organized from the moment I walked in, greeted by the receptionist and then seen by a technician, both very pleasant, helpful and kind. A bit of waiting time but the norm for eye clinics. I was referred to Dr. Kapusta for a Macular traction. He came highly recommended by my ophthalmologist and I understand why, he performed a vitrectomy and repaired my Macula problem, I was back at work in 2 weeks. He is an amazing, remarkable surgeon. He answered my questions and concerns, explained the procedure and was very reassuring. Also, thank you to Shane (nurse at the clinic) who answered any other doubts or worries I had after leaving the doctor’s office. I am very thankful to Dr. Kapusta for looking out for me and extremely happy with the care I received both at the clinic and the operating room of the Jewish General Hospital
