DESCRIPTION

Here you will see all the reviews of real people like you who purchase the products and services of Weinstein R Dr (Ophthalmologist) in Kitchener (Canada).

Now the business has a rating of 2.2 stars out of 5 and this rating has been calculated on 18 reviews.

You must have seen that the average score it has is weak, and it is founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we may be quite sure that the evaluation is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to leave their review when they've done well, is that it works.

You know that we don't usually bother to set tatings when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...

This Ophthalmologist belongs to the category of Doctor.

This place is ridiculous, they never answer the phones and wait times are outrageous. There is no reason we should have to wait 3-5 hours for A 5 min appointment. No respect for peoples time at all. Very horribly run office.

Eduardo Amaya

Waiting for appointment is almost 4 Hours. The doctor is good but the management is really bad

Glenn Cooke

Just adding my voice to the general "been here over an hour, when will they decide to see me?". If u get referred to this place, ask for a different referral. We shouldn't have to spend an afternoon for a 5 minute appt. And no recourse. What is one supposed to do? Grumble and do nothing.

Haley Martin

NO LONGER AT THIS ADDRESS. They're now on Belmont Ave but are moving again in February. Waited forever but what Dr don't you wait for? Doctor was efficient and thorough and the staff was friendly.

Catlin Homer

I actually see Dr. Yepes who is actually at this address. And since waiting is usually part of doctors appointments, she deserves 4 stars. Very kind, and knowledgeable.

Dr. Weinstein has been more help with my ongoing eye problems than the 1st ophtho I saw at OHC. He's been able to offer options and tips on managing though unclear on how to correct. After visiting a few times in the last 2 months, it's infuriating to be kept waiting for a minimum of 1.5 hours before being seen for a 5 min. appt. I'm sure it maximizes billing but it's disrespectful to all patients. They don't even offer wifi for those of us who need to work while we wait excessively. C'mon! Receptionist says they're aware of the wifi requests but waiting for owners to decide.

Dr. Weinstein himself is terrific. My husband has been seeing him at his Fischer-Hallman office. He's now moved to the Belmont medical building. Since my husband passed 2 weeks ago, I've been calling consistently to cancel an upcoming appointment. I can never get through. They need MORE staff to answer the phones. It clearly says to give them 24 hours to cancel appt's. I've been calling numerous times throughout the day with no luck. The answering machine doesn't take messages. This is a VERY poorly run office. I found a fax number, so I'm going to fax my cancellation.

Like everyone else in this forum, i have been waiting 1 hr, but everyone is here because of the pandemic

2021-05-06 While I understand the comments about waiting, I think Dr. Weinstein deserves much better appreciation as a doctor than has been shown in these comments. I found him a sharp contrast in that he was willing to talk with me and answer what I considered to be a question about my condition that I felt was worth asking. The wait is part of the system, which attempts to process people as efficiently as possible and in turn, yes, process them as rapidly as possible. The answer would be to have a considerably larger number of ophthalmologists in Kitchener and reduce the patient load per specialist. I'm not going to hold my breath for that to happen. So we're clear, I'm not trying to justify it, only to describe it as it is. That should also apply to this doctor, who I have every reason to believe is a highly competent professional. I've rated him accordingly. Neil Roult

There is no 0 starts! This place is a stress creator, the waiting time is unexplainable, unless the bill to OHIP is bumped up by unnecessary tests, done over and over again. They think that old people have time which is an unprofessional approach. They do not answer the phones, the automated message states they do until 4pm. You cannot leave a message either. They are late, all those old people are standing in the front of the locked doors, even when they have union meetings in the back, and have the waiting rooms empty. Someone needs to inspect this place! We are paying for it. All of us!

Been trying to contact them by phone for 3 weeks. Dialing over and over again all day long. Fast busy signal or once every couple of hours the voice mail clicks on then hangs up. Annoying frustrating and unprofessional.

Would have been nice to get a phone call to let me know they moved before I took my elderly father with a walker and oxygen tank in minus 20 weather. Can't get a person on the phone, voicemail messages are not returned. Waited over 2 hours which is difficult for an elderly person. Dr. Azizi was very nice and helpful but the office management is horrible. Some consideration for patients is needed.

Nancy Martin

Ridiculous. Its like a factory putting through as many people as possible. I felt very bad for the seniors that were sitting for hours. We won’t be back.

Atif Latif

Not professional at all. Never show up on time for any of the appointments. You have to wait at least 3-4 hours for 5 mins check up. That is excluding other tests, xrays etc. Need to learn and respect for others time as well.
