Upon moving to Kitchener recently it was time to get a new optometrist. Booking an eye exam online with Dr. Bender was simple and quick. Everyone at the office was friendly and the office is a nice place to spend time. I was very impressed with Dr. Bender's explanation throughout the entire exam. I'm slightly disappointed he is retiring soon (congrats Dr. B!), but I will definitely continue coming here for my vision health needs going forward.

Dr. Scheid has been my ophthalmologist for 15 years. He is knowledgeable, honest and caring. A professional, always in a good mood. He patiently answers my questions with clarity. His staff is courteous, helpful and efficient. The office is clean, bright and roomy. I am grateful I am so well looked after.

UPDATE. They are now charging 50 dollars per child to be seen. I've been going to them for a long time. And I accepted the extra 50 for my 6 year old as she has complicated vision needs. But upon booking their routine Appt today I learned that it's now 50 per child an this will be part of the regular appts from now on. NOTHING LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE ABOUT IT OR IN THE ONLINE BOOKING. I still think the doctor is very nice an good. But 150 each time for my 3 kids is just not something I can do.

The glasses I got here several years ago seem to be much sturdier than the pair I got from a larger chain this summer. I believe they were a similar price as well. Will be coming back next time I need glasses instead of going to the chain stores :)
