I've been having recurring dryness on my eyes which were giving me a lot of difficulties - Yan was very helpful in her examination and diagnosis - she recommended some speciality eye drops which helped me relieve my dryness and walked me through on steps that I need to take to help my eyes towards the path of recovery. She was very nice and has a wealth of knowledge and I can see why she is a recognized expert in her field by many.

Not understand why there are so many excellent reviews . According to my experience, that’s the worst cilinc i have ever met . We paid $200 + to exam the eyes , when we are asking the report , Dr. Liang let us to pay other $260 to get it . And saying this is the purpose to use in the court ??? Why we need it for the court ? We just need that report for this eye examination. We asked our family doctor also other clinic , no one charged for it . Also , doctor liang lets us to pay $10,000 + to get the eye sessions . Other eye clinic also thinks that’s ridiculous price ! WON’T GO THERE ANY MORE!

Dr Ling is very friendly and professional. You can tell she enjoys her job very much. My right eye was tearing up and became really red so I booked an eye exam with her. She quickly found out what the problem was and prescribed eye drops for me. My eye was back to normal in no time. She's very knowledgeable and she's very efficient. Had an exam done & bought glasses from here. I ended up choosing a pair that the assistant picked out but not after trying on many pairs. The first lens had some issues but Dr. Liang replaced them for me free of charge. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Terrible experience... would not recommend this optometrist. The optometrist here gave my partner the wrong prescription. He had glasses fitted at another shop, when he picked them up, they were the wrong prescription. The shop compared his old sunglasses with new ones and quite obviously the prescription was written backwards. Came back to the optometrist to have his prescription fixed, the optometrist did not apologize or sympathize... infact, she was rude and blamed him for choosing the wrong lens during the exam. Would not recommend this place. With all the optometrists in the area, don't know why anyone would home back.

I got my eyes examination by Dr. Liang last week, she suggested that the reason of causing my vision fatigue and eyes dryness is I have kind of hyperopia with both eyes and daily long time watching laptop and iPhone. Her professional advice was having a pair of glasses for protection of my eyesight and reducing eye dryness. I chose a pair of KIO glasses with Zeiss lenses eventually and got it today within 5 days. Very happy with it and satisfied with Dr. Liang and her team’s profession.

Recently I had my eye examination done by Dr. Liang and must say that I am very impressed by the service I received and the very attitude: professional & amicable. The examination was done thoroughly and I had all the time I needed for questions. At the end I bought two pares of glasses since I am required to use one for driving & another one for computer and reading. Again, all the explanations and suggestions regarding the benefits of various frames & lenses were given by Dr. Liang and her staff. We brought our daughter to see her for the pass 3 years. 1st year she told us our daughter’s first glasses were free so she helped us to choose a pair, however when we picked up the glasses we realized the glasses were too small for my daughter. We end up paid $300 for another pair. She wasn’t very patient helping us through out the process. 2nd year we just got a new prescription and left the office. Now 3rd year, she did an very quick 10 mins exam and asked my daughter who is 6 years old some tricky questions that she didn’t quite know how to answer, then Dr. Liang told us that my daughter needs an eye therapy which would cost us $6000, but she wasn’t patiently explain why she suggested it. All she talked about was how much discounts we can get if we buy a full year package. We told her that we need a 3rd opinion on that then she just rush us out. We gave her 3 chances to impress us, however every time we get the same feeling that she’s impatient, try to up sell something to us and didn’t explain well. We found her by all the good reviews on Google, however we personally didn’t get a good service from her. She asked me to write her good reviews on Google, now I finally wrote my review after 3 years.

She helped me pick the best type of contact lenses for my eyes and had a lot of patience to teach me how to put them on and take them off. Update on my review: During early COVID isolation periods, my mother suddenly got a swollen eye, and Dr. Liang did not hesitate to meet with her within the same day online via telehealth, even though the system was not fully set up at the time. She prescribed medicine for my mother that could be picked up within 30 minutes, which was a great relief for all of us. Dr. Liang truly cares about her patients and I am grateful for her! ________ Fantastic service and care! I did not have to wait long at all, and Dr. Liang was incredibly thorough and kind. She patiently addressed each of my questions and concerns in detail so I can learn more on how to better take care of my eye health. She also did not rush me despite going past her closing hours, but continued to guide me patiently as I struggled to put in contacts for the first time. I misplaced my invoice, and after calling, her assistant Doris sent me a copy and responded to my email inquiry within minutes.

Disappointed with the service. New clients beware, learn from my experience. I came here after reading about the amazIng reviews on Google, but was disappointed with the service. The appointment itself last a mere 10 minutes, and it felt very rushed. In the end, she gave me the wrong prescription too... I found this out when I got my new glasses prescribed and one of the lens was blurry. I paid ~$150 to get the wrong prescription... Will not be coming back.

This is the first time I visit a canada's glass shop Now I am afraid I would never try it again. it make me feel that all the doctor is evil only for money. and lied me 3 times, 2 times return empty hand to get my glasses, one time promised a certification doc, but I didn't get it finally. no there is no crizal mark on the glasses, I am worry if it is fake in case that there bad service for me . it is a totally bad experience. they just want me buy it, never think I am their customer. I don't drive, and when she find my eye test result is not right now. she blame me for the high car insurance. , but I don't drive. I just hope it finished as quick as it can .

Highly would NOT recommend this place. 2 days ago I went in for what they call a “comprehensive eye examination” and was charged $135. Dr liang insist I come back for a follow up because I had some allergies on my eye lid and she prescribed me with an over the counter ointment for my eyes. Today I went in for my follow up appointment. Dr liang took a look at my eye with her microscope for a minute and told me to continue to use the ointment and it should help clear the allergy. I come out of the exam and was surprised to be charged for a PARTIAL eye exam.. of $30. Why am I being charged for a follow up? This should have been included in my initial examination. At the very least, Dr. Liang should have disclosed that a follow up would have been an additional fee in the beginning. It saddens me to see such deceptive business practices happening in my community. If you are looking for an honest optometrist, look else where.

You would think the staff knows their prices of their services but nope; they do not. I called in confirming the price ahead of time and I came back out with a maximum of 5 minute session with a price that I was not quoted correctly. I would like to say, if you don't speak a certain language then say so because it's ridiculous for telling me one price but I end up paying a different price. Also, I do not recommend Dr. Liang as it just felt like I was in her way of other important things. I reviewed the google reviews and I'm not impressed on how you responded to the "lower scored" comments. You defend your actions and do not take any responsibility or accountability. You make it seem like the clients are all to be blamed. I don't necessarily agree with all comments as there are always two side of the story. But for me personally, i never write reviews unless the service/ product had to be SUPER awful for me to even begin the log.

I was diagnosed with border line diabetes and my doctor needed me to get my eyes checked. I looked up for an eye doctor near my office and I found Dr. Liang. I called her office and the receptionist was very helpful and I booked an appointment with a time that was convenient for me. Upon arrival. I was impress because I have a very busy schedule myself and the doctor did not made me wait. When I was inside. The doctor was very detail going through each examining procedures. I can tell she knows her stuff. She took time explaining to me what the results are and also help me pick my glasses. This time ., I know I just met a good eye doctor that cares just like my dentist whom I met 30 years ago. Good doctors now a days are a rare breed and Dr. Liang is one of them. I am staying with her now.

I had a severe infection to my eye - one that I never experienced in my entire life and I was worried there would be permanent damage. Yan was very informative and very accommodating to my concerns and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. She reassured me that the cause of my infection was due to a severe allergy reaction and explained her analysis to me and what steps I could take as well as prescribing me the right medicine to help me. Not recommended!! We brought our kid to her clinic for a regular eye exam. After the exam, she said we need to buy a pair of glasses for kid, it costs $600. Then we need to do another special eye test for kid later and costs $240. She did not completely explain why our kid needs a pair of glasses so expensive, she just said kid's eyes are so tired for seeing far subjects to closer subjects. And she said our kid is farsighted but never told me that expensive glasses was a progressive glasses. I tried to ask her more about the eye exam result, but she did not answer my exactly questions, just like avoided the key points and said something not relative. I was so confused after the eye exam. I only know the glasses are really expensive. For kid in age 7 - 8, farsighted is a normal for this age children, (I know this because I checked online by myself recectly), but Dr. Liang never say she is normal. She gave me the comment was my kid needs a pair of glasses because she is farsighted, and no other things we need to concern. I went to an optical store where I always buy contact lens to ask about my kid's situation with prescription from Dr. Liang. They helped me to check her eyes again. They said it's not necessary to give her a glasses right now, especially the progressive glasses, it should not for kid!!

SCAMMER ALERT! We recently visit this institute. They first gave us a vague quotation an eye exam in the 100's. At the end the charged us $230 for a simple 10 min exam. Furthermore, we initially had the exam to see if we qualify for a laser eye surgery prcedure. Throughout the session Dr. Liang kept pressuring us into buying contacts from her instead for $2000 a year. For those that is considering to find a honest optometrist, I sincerely suggest you STAY AWAY from this place.

This is not your typical “$60 optometrist” that you will find in the Markham/ Scarborough area who will simply give you a paper with a prescription on it and send you on your way. dr Liang will sit down and take the time to explain what is really going on with your eye health. Highly recommend if you want real advice about your eye health

I went to this place to update my prescription. Ended up getting glasses and contacts as well. I had dry eyes from working in a wood shop so I asked Dr. Liang to look at that for me. She was very helpful in determining if I had dry eyes problem. Ended up giving me sample contacts to wear to work and use eye drops to see if I will have problems. She didn't want to rush to a conclusion without more testing, very professional. The staffs were helpful in choosing a frame for me that suited my needs. Overall, good visit.

Dr. Liang's office is great. There is a great selection of frames that are not too pricey (i.e., Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Lacoste). I notice that Dr. Liang spends lots of time with each patient, even helping them find frames that are most suited for their face. She also patiently answers all questions. The booking process was very simple, and the staff at the front desk give friendly reminders, and are never impatient when patients are late. Overall a great office, with great service. I would definitely recommend it.

If there was zero stars to give, I would rate it 0/5 stars for this eye doctor and I'm never coming here again. When i first visited, I had high hopes from Dr.Liang due to the google reviews. But I've changed my mind afterwards. The secretary is not friendly; she looks so bored from her job. And on the other hand with Dr. Liang, she also seems bored with some kind of rush attitude with me and did not seem friendly at all. She rushed my session that ended up to be 5 minutes when I’m paying $95. During the session, I asked her whether I can squint while reading the letters, she said yes. I was only joking as no eye doctors encouraged this behaviour. In addition, while I was reading the letters; she quickly flipped to the next slide when I wasn't even done with the slide yet. Later, I was required to open my eyes while she puts in a liquid in my eye. At first, she did not explain what this liquid is and I had to stop her and question her. She later said it was to test my eyes. My eyes started to flutter when it comes to nervous situations. She said how she’s seen x amount of clients daily and x amount yearly and does this on a normal basis. I realized later that her comment seemed like I didn’t trust her. That wasn’t the issue; my eyes just tense up even if I were to put a liquid in my eye. She ended asking me to write her a review on google, facebook..etc (possibly to boost her business?) So when I got my prescription and I went home to compare my previous records- Dr. Liang gave me a prescription that shouldn't even be correct. First, my two eyes have different degrees. Secondly, my eyes have been not improving. Her prescription had my eyes with the same degrees and improved by a lot! So i decided to book my second appointment because I was not satisfied with my results. This time, I bought my pair of glasses, which possibly helped her ballpark where my vision is at currently. During the second session, I felt like I was being blamed for the reason of my second visit. Dr.Liang said optometry is like a form of art and not science as it depends on how clients choose the lenses. I agree, however, based on my first time visit; I won't agree to this statement at all. I've chosen what I possibly have chosen and if she didn't have the patience for my business, then just say so. She gave me my revised (and hopefully correct) prescription and as I said, my glasses possibly helped her in a way to ballpark where my vision is.

My aunt recently saw Dr Liang for a second opinion and requested for me to write this review. She was noticing some discomfort and other minor symptoms that irritated her eyes. I recommended her to see Dr Liang as my aunt only speaks Chinese and I've heard from others that Dr Liang also speaks Chinese. Dr Liang identified that she was having early signs that could develop into glaucoma that my aunt's last optometrist was unsure about. Dr Liang immediately sent her to see an ophthalmologist for laser eye treatment (OHIP covered) and she now says that she sees so much more clearly! She didn't even know that she wasn't seeing clearly before and now she says it's a world of a difference. Dr Liang definitely saved her eyes.

Second time seeing Dr Liang in her office to get my eyes checked, she's quick, courteous and professional. Took time to show me my previous retinal pictures and explained the changes etc. Also advised me to add an eyedrop routine as I was low on tears. The sitting area could use a good cleaning but aside from that I would definitely recommend Dr Liang to anyone who needs their eyes checked.

Dr. Liang is a really professional and helpful optometrist for myself and my 7 year old son. We have been seeing her for 3-4 years for annual check ups, glasses, contact lenses, and in relation to lazy eye and far sightedness for my son. It cost me $900 to buy the "good quality" glasses, but totally wore less than two years. The temples are often loose!! I had went back three times to repair it. After the first time repair, the arm's broken, I spent $60 for the new one. It was only a week after the second repair, it became loose again. I had to go back for the third time, however, they REFUSED to fix it and forcing me to buy a new one!! $900 for using less than two year is ridiculous! Terriable quality, not recommand to buy glasses frames here!

Two weeks ago, I had an infection in both my eyes that was causing me a lot of discomfort. I called into Warden Optometry to make an appointment, and the receptionist quickly scheduled me to see Dr. Liang the day of, which was amazing. When I got to the clinic, the receptionist greeted me and efficiently checked me in before I went into the examination room with Dr. Liang. Dr. Liang was very compassionate and sympathetic about my infected eyes. She was very professional and explained what she was doing at every step of the examination. She prescribed me medication and scheduled a follow-up appointment the next day to ensure that my eyes are getting better. The quality of service she provides never fails to amaze me.

If you want a properly educated and designated professional with accreditation and the ability to back it up with practical experience, who will take the time to get you what you need, then go here. My situation is like many. I am getting older and finding it hard to read the fine print on labels. I spend hours behind a desk working on a computer. I read stacks of reports and may write up to 50 Emails, every day, day after day. After straining for months I finally decided I needed glasses. The office is clean. The staff are welcoming and kind. The schedule is well organized and I did not have to wait. The purpose of testing was explained. Dr. Liang reviewed the results with me and answered all of my questions. She double checked tests several times and was able to clarify what she was doing every step of the way. When selecting frames and lenses there was no pressure or upselling. All of the options are on display and it was my choice to choose from anywhere between "cool and trendy" to "fashionable and upscale". I recruited the front staff and had fun for a couple minutes trying different frames and getting second opinions. There were no hidden fees and pricing was clearly disclosed. I did have one issue when I went in to pick-up my glasses a couple weeks later -- it is my first pair of glasses and I found they were not clear at the edges. Dr. Liang offered that I could exchange them within two months. I think I just need to get used to them for a while and I need to fully accept that my eyes need a little help. When trying the glasses Dr. Liang explained what was happening to my vision and took the time to make sure I was satisfied with lenses, frames, and prescription. She gave me eye exercises and went over lifestyle choices that can impact my eyesight. I appreciated the support and know that I can get the information, diagnosis, prescription, and treatment I need for my vision. Recommended.

Thank you for the professional work of Dr. Liang and her team. My eyes were getting worse 2 years after my laser eye surgery. It only took a few mins for my eyes to feel tired and get diplopia(double vision) after reading. Therefore, I came to Dr. Liang to see if there is anything to help with.
