Attempted scheduling an appointment with this place after having pain in the upper chest, near the shoulder. This pain came on from rock climbing. This place was recommended by both my gastroenterologist and cardiologist after they cleared stomach, and heart problems. The lady who answered the phone was rude, kept interrupting me to tell me they aren't a cardiologist even after repeating that a cardiologist recommended this place, and she even started yelling before I could even finish describing the symptoms, what they developed from, and how the developed. Can't really review the doctors, when the person answering the phone is incompetent, and unwilling to listen to what you have to say without yelling "we aren't a cardiologist" while you are trying to explain what is wrong, who recommended this place and why, and how the injury occurred.

I wont recommended at all, we feelt like he treated my father different than other people, my dad had to use a translator to communicate and this doctor would ignore him and treat him with no respect

I had total left hip replacement with Dr. Hulst in June of 2019. I found Dr. Hulst and his entire staff to be highly professional and thorough. Starting with Dr. Hulst, when he examined me he had reviewed my medical records prior to my visit so our time together was very productive. I truly appreciated that because as a chronic pain sufferer it gets tiring to constantly have to tell my story. He only needed me to fill in gaps and he needed one additional X-ray (which had a different doctor done months prior they would have seen that I essentially had no cartilage in my left hip and I could have gotten started on the process to get surgery much sooner, but that’s not Proliance’s fault). Once he diagnosed my issue he gave me clear choices and potential outcomes. He was forthcoming with the reality that I might still have pain after surgery. His staff was quite thorough with getting all of my insurance in order and making sure that the right pre-op labs were ordered. On surgery day I was a nervous wreck. Dr. Hulst put me at ease as did his anesthesiologist. I was worried about not having general anesthesia but she assured me that the nerve block and deep sedation would keep me under without the side effects of general anesthesia. She was right. The recovery was much smoother. Dr. Hulst treated me for pain for about 6 weeks post op before transferring me back to my pain doctor. This was something outside the norm for lost of his patients but worked out really well and I didn’t feel anxiety or judged for needing pain meds longer than most patients. I recovered quite quickly from surgery. His technique allowed a smaller incision in the front and got me back up and walking same day. I only used a walker for about 2-3 days after I got home then a cane for about 2 weeks. I’m walking well now and even wear heels occasionally! I never thought that would be a reality. Dr. Hulst surgery schedule gets really backed up, probably because he has such a good reputation, so just be aware that once you’re cleared for surgery you may be waiting about 6 weeks. But, I’d say he’s worth the wait. Would you want a surgeon with a half empty schedule? No definitely not! Should my right hip decide it wants to age out before it’s time I will definitely see Dr. Hulst again!

My Wife's back surgery has been rescheduled 3 times, last time we found out by trying to check in for her surgery @ 6am, that surgery was cancelled the day before at 3pm but never recieved at call to inform us. (They called twice earlier in the day to confirm). This is 3rd time I have taken time off work and unacceptable way to treat patients.

Dr Nathe is amazing!! I deliberately waited to write this review since some doctors start off great and then it goes downhill however.... I am 5 weeks post surgery and feel fantastic! Tore my ACL and Meniscus in a ski accident and was originally referred to Evergreen and another Dr. by the ER but I could never get through to make an appointment. This gave me some time to research doctors as I’m newer to the area. I went through all the websites for knee doctors and read all the reviews for all the doctors. Dr Nathe had excellent reviews and he even came highly recommended by my shoulder doctor at BB&JP in Bellevue. I’m beyond happy with his bedside manner in answering all my questions and never making me feel rushed in any of my doctors visits. His assistant is also amazing and made sure I knew the next steps and that all my paperwork for my short term disability leave was filled out and turned in as soon as they received it so once I went out for my operation it was a seamless transition and completely hassle free. Dr Nathe was able to repair my Meniscus too and I’ve got 2 small scars and a knee that feels stronger every day and is pain free. Can’t wait to get back on the ski slopes! Thanks Dr Nathe for such great care!! I’m beyond ecstatic!!

Customer service of this place is horrible ....they promised on phone that will give us a reminder phone call or text for our upcoming appointment but never happen...when call in they wont lets u finish your sentences and blame everything on you...i think the doctors is awesome but few of those who work in front desk need to replace or need more training about how communicate and how to do their job right...!!!!

My surgery went well so that's not my complaint with this practice. Everyone that I've had contact with has come across as personable and professional, however I've never gotten a response to a message the same day, sometimes not even the next day. For that reason I would not recommend this practice. Orthopedics at Polyclinic is considerably more responsive and reliable when it comes to communication. I had my first THR at Polyclinic and somewhat wish that I had stuck with them. I'm going to Polyclinic for PT.

I followed Dr Boone from his previous office to Proliance. Not only did he go to Proliance, but his staff went with him. I had already had several surgeries (and lots of problems following those surgeries) before I found Dr Boone. He was able to fix all of my problems from those surgeries. I went from not having a hip, and was told that I never would have a hip again, and I was confined to a wheelchair. Dr Boone never gave up on me, he makes me feel very comfortable. He always had several options of what he could do when he would take me in for surgery. After several surgeries and about two or three years. I now have a hip, walk with crutches, and I am only in a wheelchair part time. I swear by Dr Boone and his staff, they are the best. I will never let another orthopedic surgeon operate on me again. UPDATE—— 9/13/21. Regarding my previous post dated 7 weeks post op my THR …. I’m actually incredibly disappointed in my treatment at Proliance. I am now 2 year post THR and still having a lot of pain that I’ve tried to resolve with Dr Boone and Proliance only to be sent down the wild goose chase of referrals. This was the worst decision I’ve ever made and I’m devastated that I’m worse off after having this surgery. I had hoped to live a more active life and be able to play and run with my now 2 year old daughter, but I feel like that has been taken from me. There are still days I rely on crutches. I highly advise anyone to really think Proliance and their surgeons through. From what I’ve heard they rush patients through and don’t care about post surgery life. This was my previous review, sad to see how optimistic I was———I’m really pleased with the care I received from Dr. Boone and his team throughout the process of my total hip replacement. After years and years of numerous doctors dismissing my hip pain and not spending the time to properly diagnose me or give me treatment options, a friend suggested I meet with Dr. Boone. He didn’t brush me aside due to my age and said that he’d had many younger patients have excellent results with a total hip replacement. It was a pretty big shock at first, but I trusted his expertise and I couldn’t be happier I did! I’m now 7 weeks post op and able to go on walks with my 8 month old and crawl on the floor with her without the pain and limitations I had before. I’m incredibly grateful to Dr. Boone and everyone who helped throughout the process. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to live a more active and less painful life!

I was in serious pain prior to my hip replacement surgery-and it was chronic, going on for several years. The degree of pain was also getting steadily worse. In addition, there was a myriad of ways that I could no longer move, due to the bone spurs preventing freedom of movement of my hip socket. How fantastic, that on the day of surgery, just hours later, the pain of arthritis was gone! Of course, much of that had to do with the pain blocker I was on ???? But seriously, the pain after surgery has been very bearable compared to what I was dealing with before! Dr Bruckner really knows his stuff ! The scar on my butt is minimal and only 3 inches long. 7 was after surgery and my range of motion is way better than prior to surgery. I’m thrilled! Thank you Dr Bruckner and crew! Jen Winslow

The 1 star is for my experience with the doctor. I have a brace on my arm that was hurting and asked what could be done. The doctor didn't even glance at me and jumped to get x-rays instead. After taking x-rays, she didn't show them to me or explain anything, but instead immediately said I needed surgery. She started talking about young people who have this injury when I am in the elderly age range (i.e. the only thing she explained to me didn't apply to my circumstance). She said and did everything very rudely and I just felt rushed. I was considering the surgery, but they rudely insisted I had to start the process now because I needed to get tested for covid 48 hours before. I decided to wait because I just didn't trust this doctor. They have called me a week later telling me they just scheduled my surgery for tomorrow and my covid test is today - contradicting what they said before! Luckily, I have found a much better doctor at another clinic.

I must say that Dr Cameron Schick it's one of the best doctors I have ever gone to. I fell and fractured my hand in three places. This was my first visit with Dr. Boone after breaking my knee cap 3 days earlier. I was very impressed with the whole experience in his office. I'm not sure if I received the best treatment here. Been there for 2 issues and for leg pain, Doctor was not even sure where or what the pain was and asked me to come back later for the shoulder issue when I actually took an appointment for both issues and told him shoulder is something I need help with. I also need to pay huge bills when I feel I received no appropriate service. I'm not sure if this is how medical companies are suppose to be.

They have an absolute disaster of an office. I consulted them a year back. They recommended an MRI. They said someone from their office would contact me. I waited and waited and no one called. I was feeling a bit better and so I did not follow up. Fast forward a year and I was feeling something again and decided to give them another shot. Scheduled an appointment and of course they recommended an MRI and said someone would contact me. I reminded them that last time no one contacted me and they assured me that some one would this time. To be fair a lady called me and directed me to a diagnostics centre. I had the MRI done and they said the report will be out in 3 days and they will pass the results to the doctor. So I waited for the Proliance folks to call me to schedule a follow up. 2 weeks and no call. So, I called them up to schedule a follow up appointment. They did schedule it but now, after a week I am not sure which day it was. No email and no messages. No reminders whatsoever. So here I am knowing I have an appointment but having no clue when. I called them up to check and scheduled a "call back". It has been an hour and no call back yet. I am so done with them.

I found Dr Chi very honest, straightforward, and knowledgeable on current techniques on healing a torn tendon. He spent a lot of time talking with me going over all the pros and cons of different treatments. I felt he genuinely cared for me as a patient which really isn’t that common.
