I got my lasik eye surgery done there and my experience from start to finish was absolutely fantastic. Their facility is clean and beautiful and all the staff was very warm and helpful! The procedure was fast and professional and organized. I have 20/20 vision now without contacts or glasses and I am thrilled!

Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute had been highly recommended to me by relatives and friends so I chose them to do my cataract surgery. I was very pleased and impressed with my experience. First of all, they offer a driver to take you to the appointment. I was picked by a very professional and friendly gentleman who delivered me to the door. The facility is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. I was greeted by a friendly and helpful staff as I entered the building. Their ambiance with healthy snacks, coffee, juice, tea and anything you could possibly think of was amazing. I was seen on time, my questions were answered and I was reappointed for my surgery quickly. The surgical team was so "in-sync" as they prepped patients for surgery, all while assuring our comfort. Each step of the process was like clockwork! The surgery was easy and I felt confident of the outcome. I am so impressed with the entire operation and I highly recommend the Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute!

The folks at Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute are friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about the rare condition that affects my entire body including my eyes. I have had a traumatic experience with previous eye surgery from a different group, but the doctors and staff here were able to address my concerns and perform successful cataract surgery despite the great challenges surrounding my case. I recommend them hands down and without reservations. Five stars isn't enough to express my gratitude for the wonderful treatment I received here.

A little over a month ago I visited this doctor's office because I was referred by my regular eye doctor to seek a specialized treatment for my eye condition. I have Keratoconus and the treatment I was seeing was Corneal Cross Linking. My appointment went normal with friendly staff, the Dr. Archibald seems like he care about his patients and we talked about expectation to the treatment along with who the process works. He mentioned not all insurance companies cover this but when it is deemed medically necessary there are some that cover a portion. Due to how advanced my Keratoconus is Dr. Archibald wanted to talk to some other doctors in his network to get a second opinion. He called back just a couple days later and said I am a good candidate for the procedure. I asked him if he has submitted anything to insurance. He indicated he wanted to make sure I was a good candidate before going to insurance. After a little over a week I get a call from Pacific Cataract and they said my insurance has denied coverage and I would be responsible to pay out of pocket. I spoke to them for awhile and this person told me NO insurance companies cover this procedure and they never have. I let her know someone needs to let the doctor know so he isn't giving out inaccurate information. I then opted to have them send over their application for financing the procedure. Meanwhile my wife calls our insurance provider (Blue Cross of Idaho) and the insurance company indicated they did not deny coverage. Rather they do in fact cover the procedure when medically necessary. I then call Pacific Cataract and left a voice mail to immediately call me back. The return call and radically different information from within their staff is where the one star comes from. First I am told the doctor never would have said this, then I am told from the person who supposedly submits all pre-authorizations to insurance for Corneal Cross Linking says my insurance did deny this and she spoke directly to them. She went on to say no insurance company has ever covered Corneal Cross Linking. Understandably I was done listening to her and told her to give me the insurance codes she submitted so I can do my own research because it is clear they will not. She tells me that I am unpleasant and was unpleasant even at my very first appointment. (I'd of given 5 stars right after my first appointment) I indicate I think it would be best I look else where to seek treatment. Her response "Ya, maybe you should...click" I called back on the number Doctor Archibald called me on (sadly it was their office). The office manager called me back and gave me yet more conflicting information saying some insurance companies have covered the procedure. He was disconnected from the conversation and reinforced I look elsewhere for treatment. If I was working in this office I would be ashamed. I'd honestly like to speak with the doctor one on one but doubt that will happen with the incompetent, uncaring, and lazy front end staff For all those seeking treatment with Pacific Cataract beware. The response to my post is testament to their manipulation of the events. I spoke personally to my Insurance company and they have NO record of Pacific Cataract reaching out to them like I was told. Further more the "verbal abuse" did not happen. I've gotten into the habit of documenting conversations. Sadly we live in a world where you must live your life like you are going to court.

Everything about this place was amazing!

I was fortunate enough to have a neighbor recommend PCLI for cataract surgery. After some research I selected them to perform the surgery on my right and left eye. The entire staff is outstanding and I am delighted with the results they provided.
