Dr. Bessie Pian is one of the best optometrists on the Eastside! She is very knowledgeable, attentive, and great at communicating what you need to know in a way that easy to understand. You immediately feel at ease and comfortable with her. I've been going to her for years when I used to work in Redmond. Even though I live in Seattle, I'd would gladly drive out to Redmond to have Dr. Pian take care of my vision needs. Her staff is very professional and welcoming to all patients. I highly recommend Overlake Eye Designs!

My mom recently visited O.E.D for a general eye examination and Dr. Wong was great as well as all the staffs were helpful. We also picked up one of the frames right after the exam, although unfortunately we had to bring it back due to a lack of fitting perfectly on my mom's face. No hassle getting a refund and there was a staff name Jane, she help us picking up the right and stylish frames start to finish with great patient. I was very impressed with her caring, professionalism and she was very knowledgable. If you're thinking of getting an eye exam or purchasing a frames for glasses, I strongly recommend to check out this place. Especially looking for a right frames for your specific face type, TALK TO Jane, she is very knowledgable and extremely kind! Jane definitely brings five solid star customer care!

My vision is somewhat poor uncorrected, but is better than 20/20 corrected. Dr. Chang is the first optometrist I've gone to since my eye-sight started to deteriorate that took the time to really hone in on the correct prescription rather than simply getting me close to 20/20 and calling it a day. I have moved a couple hours away, but still order my contacts through Overlake Eye Designs (since they have the best prices) and try to schedule optometry appointments for when I plan on being in the Redmond area.

I've seen 5 or 6 different optometrists and this office is easily the best I've been to. Dr. Pian, the staff, and the equipment available were all excellent. They have a machine that no other office I've been to had. It was able to alleviate some concerns I've had about my eyes for years that other optometrists just told me to wait and see (ha).
