This practice just opened in June and I am so glad I finally took my friend's recommendation to join One Medical, now that they have a location in the northern suburbs. Dr. Shobha Narasimhan is incredible. She actually listens, does her research thoughtfully and thinks about what could be a root cause for your concern. At this practice, the doctor comes out to greet you and spends the entire visit with you. Getting to know you, your history and your concerns. She is responsive and wants to make sure she's taking care of you as a whole person, not just what your chart says. At One Medical, the doctor actually gets enough time with you to make this difference. The membership fee is 100% worth it. Other pros: The app is wonderful and although many hospitals/doctors have MyChart, the app here is a lot more accessible + easy to use. The offices are modern, clean and no wait times. Appointments are easy to schedule (same day even!) I highly recommend this practice and One Medical. There is even another location coming to Deerfield!

I like one medical in general. Been to their west loop location before and really liked it. So I was really glad they opened this location near me. However, my annual exam experience this morning has definitely been a disaster. The doctor and staff were nice, as usual. However, this location is definitely not fully ready. They don't have anyone onsite to do blood draw. What's even worse is they didn't tell me before my appointment. So I was told this when I was already there. And then I was told to go to either LabCorp or Deerfield office for blood draw. But they don't even know where the closest LabCorp location is. I went to one shown on Google map 15 min away and it's actually closed! Went to another one they pointed me to on their print there and it's not there either! Finally found the correct one in Walgreens and who knows how long the wait is without an appointment. If they had told me in advance, I could have looked up location and made an appointment in advance, instead of starving all morning and driving around like a fool for an hour.
