Open until 5 , but when I call at 4:30 pm no-one answers the phone and no room option to leave a voicemail. Customer service has been terrible lately, and there is no follow-up for specialists appointments. Too bad they are not well prepared for busy season

Worst experience ever. I want to give them Zero but there’s no option of zero star. The staff is extremely unprofessional and rude. They don’t know how to talk to the customers. They never picks up their calls, never returns voice messages and never checks their emails either. Do Not go to this clinic if you care about your child.

I went there last week for the first time. The receptionist at the front was helpful and there wasnt alot of people which is great. Waited for 2 mins and my daughter got her immunization so fast and efficient. I am happy my daughter now has a pediatrician to depend on. I want to say thank you.

After reading the reviews, I was starting to doubt if I should go there but I really wanted to meet Dr.Joseph for my daughter's skin condition. I went there with a mental shield and armor based on the reviews. All the staff were nice and patient. The only cons I would say is I find it boring for the children to wait in the waiting room with no activities/distractions to help with their patience. No music, no toys (but with Covid I understand it's probably to avoid germs but they could have still put the TV on), the TV was off, some young children were impatient because they had nothing to do while waiting. When you wait more than 15 minutes, it's starting to get long and you need something to distract you and think about something else, which is why I give 4/5. Update: I now give 3/5. Setting up an appointment or follow-up appointment is really a pain. As an organized person with 3 young children, I don't have time for back and forth. I wanted to book an appointment after my visit and they told me that I could go home that somebody would call (which I found weird but didn't want to think about it too much). I waited till the end of the day to receive a call but nothing and when I called them to book, they said they would call me to book it, never did. 1 week later, still nothing and I have to call again when all they had to is to book that appointment while I was still at the clinic . I don't know if they read Google reviews but I suggest they so a BIG clean-up like training, customer service, trustworthy, or change staff, whatever.. I'm sure most of us go there only because the doctors are nice, otherwise, I would had simply choose another place where they are professional and respect your time.

The one star is for the desk staff. The doctors and nurses do a great job with the children but the receptionists are ridiculous. I can only make an appointment by coming in person or if they answer their phone. Their voicemail and email are not for making appointments. I can't just drop by from an 1hour away to make an appointment for my son. Fix the service.

So far so good! We've had our newborn to Dr. Gelman three times now. She's friendly and reassuring to new parents, and spends as much time with us as we've needed to patiently answer questions and provide guidance. Plan to arrive early for your appointment, the parking lot fills up fast and you may have to park elsewhere and walk.

Professionalism means that despite your colour of your skin, where you grew up or how much money you have - you show good judgement, integrity, kindness, compassion and consideration. You also, are able to conduct yourself with good speech, positive attitude and careful when providing customer service. I am black young mother, educator and person. I come to this community to ensure my son is well cared for. Without a doubt, Dr. Tracy Pitts, Dr. Tara Gelman and Dr. Marissa Joseph have given me great suggestions, and provided my son with exceptional care and understanding. Unfortunately, the person(s) at the reception desk seems to display UNPROFESSIONAL behavior. I understand their position can be met with a high level of stress but so can the parents of the children being brought to this office. Respect, Tone of voice, Emotional Intelligence and attitude MUST have more value for the greater good. I did not expect to make a long review but since I was told I could not address my concerns, I will do publicly. "in order to be happy, we must first acknowledge that we all go through suffering" Cheers.

First time here and it was great! The appointment was on time, the staff was very friendly and easy going. Also the doctor was very thorough. Great experience!!

Had my very first appointment there with dr gelman. I definitely won't be returning. The dr and i shared a different opinion on a matter and she told me that because my opinion was different from hers and that because she believes wholeheartedly in her opinion that i should find another doctor that shared my opinion. This is the first time something like this has ever happened to me. She never bothered to ask why i disagree, or understand my concerns about the matter.I guess that this place if you don't agree with the dr wholeheartedly then they tell you to leave

The doctors are fine but the service is horrible. We have to wait for 30 to 40 minutes for almost every appointment and the waiting room is too crowded. The staff is very tardy and nonprofessional.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND I brought my two year old son who was weak and lethargic and Dr Bayer told me nothing was wrong with him and that I was probably overreacting. Thankfully I took him to sick kids where they diagnosed him with anemia so bad that he almost needed a blood transfusion. Their ridiculously short appointments (that are so hard to get), dismissive attitude and neglect really shows in how they treat their patients. If it wasn't for getting a second opinion, I don't know what would have happened to my son. Unprofessional, late & rude, don't bother coming here. There are other better paediatricians.

The doctors are very good and take your opinions in consideration but the receptionist are super rude, arrogant and yell at you thinking that they know it all. Very unprofessional environment when you need to get information or make an appointment.

I have been going to this office since my boy was 1 years old, he is 9 now. Dr. Flander is an accelerant doctor and the nurse is fantstic but service staff has gone horrible over the years. They answer the phone with a big sigh and snappy manners. It is very hard to get good pediatricians in Toronto so I am sticking with this office but it is kind of frustrating.

The staff is always caring and very professional. Very good at remaining on schedule. Our daughter has no problem going to see the doctor, which is a good sign.

The doctors are wonderful, absolutely no complaints. We saw Dr. Flanders for years and loved her. The receptionists, however, are incredibly rude. We chose to leave Midtown Pediatrics based solely on having so many awful experiences talking to reception.

Our twin boys see Dr. Gelman, and she is wonderful. All of the nurses we have worked with have also been amazing. The reception team are incredibly rude and unprofessional, and are making us reconsider our choice of clinic for our boys. To the doctors of this practice, please train your reception team to be more pleasant, as they are awful to deal with.

Don’t be fool by the old looking building. The clinic inside is really good, and all the staff we met are nice, friendly. I’m regret that I didn’t choose here for my new born earlier. And I feel lucky that I still tried here. Good place!

Dr. Bayer is amazing doctor. I have been bringing my baby here for over a year now (since she was 3 days old) and I am very satisfied. The staff is great too! We have recently moved to Pickering and have no intentions of changing doctors!

We have been taking our 3 boys to Dr Nessa Bayer since they were born. She is very calm and clinical in her approach. Always listening to what we say and what the boys say. We always leave feeling better about the situation and more informed. We appreciate her skill as a pediatrician so much that we still bring the boys to her even though we moved to Uxbridge!

The physician's and nurses are fantastic and very patient with my very apprehensive 2 year old. However, the front end staff are something else, very rude and snippy on the phone and in person. Scheduling an appointment is like asking for the world it seems. very unprofessional.

Extremely disappointed with this place - we have a new born and so far we've felt nothing but neglected and dismissed. You can't book an appointment if it's not a same day appointment and you can't get a same day appointment if it's not a pressing concern. They never answer the phone and their website has been down for over a week. I hear lots of people rave about their Paediatricians but to anyone reading this i recommend steer clear of this place.

SUPER unprofessional receptionist. Contacted them mid December, was assured i would get in after the holidays. Contacted them today, as I was told to do and basically was told I lost my sequence in line and would have to wait until February. Very dissatisfied

Worst experience! They receive your child's test results and sit on them for days on end. Even when asked, they say the doctor/nurse will call you to discuss and they never do. You have to push and push and God forbid your child has some kind of health issue...they will not respond and they will not treat that with any kind of urgency or empathy. The worst receptionists I've ever talked to. And the doctors don't fall far behind either. The Covid pandemic should NOT stand in the way of providing proper care for KIDS! These are KIDS!! KIDS!!!! The future of our society! Shame on you all!
