So I have some pretty bad eyesight typically and had also been dealing with eye strain for a while at my desk job so I decided it was time to get my eye exam for the year and look into some solutions. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place pretty close to my residence and got an appointment. Walking in it was very clean and the staff was friendly. The doctor and assistant that assisted me was very kind and walked me through the exam with a tremendous amount of care and assistance. I didn't even need to get my eyes dilated! They have a pretty cool piece of tech that scans the internals of the eyes without the need to dilate. The doctor was very helpful with finding the perfect solution for my eye strain. We concluded on a tinted lens for computer use. They were nice enough to laminate my prescription cards for safe keeping in the future as well. The best part about this visit though was Kelly. She is an absolute EXPERT when it comes to finding the right pair of frames that best fit my lifestyle and even told me she hand picked most if not all the designs available for the clinic. We were able to conclude on a frame pretty easilly and was also super friendly to talk to. Afterward it didn't take long to get my glasses. About a week. Came back in to pick them up and to this day I've been incredibly satisfied with my new computer glasses as well as peace of mind that my eyes are healthy. They have made me a customer for life. :)

Great vision clinic! Super friendly staff. Clean space and staff took extra sanitary precautions around covid etc. I've been going to Dr. Peter Wu for a few years now and he's been great! Knowledgeable and patiently answers all my questions and concerns. Front desk is friendly and efficient with check in and check out.

Love this place! I've been a patient for several years, and I always have a great experience here. I especially appreciate that they have a special camera that can image your retina without putting those awful drops in your eyes that dilate your pupils for several hours. I'm a single working mom, so it's well worth the extra fee! Honestly, I wouldn't take the time to have a proper retina scan otherwise, so this offer is a big deal to me. I feel like it's helping me keep my eyes healthier. Also, their frames are so pretty! Shopping here is always a really, really fun experience.

I've been going here for 5 years and I've always enjoyed it. Dr. Ozkan is really sweet. Her exams are efficient and she treats me with care to make sure my prescription is perfect and fits my needs. I've worked with a few ladies to get new glasses and they've all been friendly. They are happy to answer my questions, give me honest feedback on frames, and I never feel rushed to make any rash decisions. I now have 4 frames I love! Plus they take care of all my insurance paperwork and I've never had any issues. They make it so easy. I would definitely recommend this place!

DO NOT GO TO LAKE UNION VISION CLINIC. Unprofessional, rude, and inaccurate with their medical records and writing prescriptions. I have had two other coworkers who have had poor experiences, as well. You're dealing with medical documents, data should be meticulous. I'm inclined to report to the Board of Optometry, but for now I hope that no one else has to endure the same issues.

The frontdesk service is awful. They cannot answer my questions and make things messy. Poor receptors and they are in rude attitude. I think I'm a return customer after one year because the doctors are somehow good, but I will stop using them from next year.

Compelled to leave a comment. Nothing against the doctors, but the admin service left me with a weird taste in my mouth. First they filed a contacts fitting examination to the wrong code so that I didn't get to use any of my benefits. I had to reconcile with the insurance company, which is nothing out of the ordinary in this day and age. But the clinic managed to give me a worse experience than the insurance company! I called the clinic twice to inquire about the balance. First I was identified with just caller ID, which was strange but fine. The second time I got to the voice mail, left my card info, and asked for a confirmation call once they processed my payment. I got a call back blaming me for not providing identification info and was hang up without even a goodbye. Not the kind of customer service experience I expect given I was charged $$ for a short routine exam.

I have screwy eyes from a surgery done many years ago so I'm tough to fit. One doc told me not too long ago that 'my vision seems to be somewhat un correctable.' Dr. Ozkan did an amazing job of fine tuning my prescription and has even been successful in finding me contact lenses that actually work. It's a small, tight team and you will get customized service which I appreciate. Very much recommended.

Just when you think you paid your account in full , they've billed me an extra $10. I called twice to ensure that the amount due was $120, paid it over the phone and weeks later picked up my contact. A month later I get a bill with a balance. I would have appreciated a call and apology for the miscalculation, called to get it waived but got impersonal service with 0 remorse. This is the most convenient place for me but the $10 customer service interaction is taking my business elsewhere.

I happened upon this vision center. I stopped inside to check out a pair of frames. The selection was extensive but what impressed me most was the service! The staff listened attentively as I explained what I was looking for, I got help finding the perfect pair of glasses!!! I will definitely return!!!!!

The service is so great that I was compelled to come here to write a review after going in today. I go in every year for the past few years for an eye checkup and new lens and glasses prescriptions. Dr. Ozkan is patient, kind, thorough and clearly cares very much about my individual health. She is a top notch professional and I come away feeling like I'm seeing the best. The other staff are excellent as well, as is the flow and timeliness of the visit. The facilities are clean and perfectly functional for this type of work, and the COVID safety protocol was top notch. Great experience on all fronts. Thank you!

Irresponsible! I called and scheduled an appointment. They confirmed with me through text one business day before my appointment. I showed up on time and there’s no one there. I called and it went straight to voicemail.

Deceptive Billing!!! I would NOT recommend visiting this place. They look for every opportunity to bill you for charges without telling you. I went to Lake Union Vision Clinic for a routine eye exam. The doctor said she noticed some 'unusual' results with one of my tests and asked me to come back in the next day for another test. What they never told me, was the second test would result in them billing me for a second, Medical, visit which triggers your Medical Deductible and separate co-pay. I got a second bill in the mail and when I called to dispute, they said they can't reverse medical charges, and on the letter sent to me it says, "Unless paid the account will be turned over for collection." Nice. Find another doctor folks, there's plenty of other options around SLU that won't try to rob you.

Dr Ozkan is wonderful, she cares, she is kind, but even more important she is knowledgeable and thorough. Oh, and the Clinic has great frames too, simply a bonus.

It’s the worst experience ever. The reception. Is extremely rude. I called an hour earlier to inform that I’m running 15 mins late due to a meeting and asked if it’s ok and was told that it’s no problem. I showed up 20 mins late after taking the bus plus walk. The reception who’s a female with glasses in her forties probably told me I’m late and they can’t exam me. I asked then why didn’t you call so I don’t have to travel all the way there. She said in a very rude tone that they just assume I won’t show up. What a terrible clinic. This is definitely my last time visiting them.

Went in for your run-of-the-mill eye exam and was pleasantly surprised. Cameron and Dr. Fogarty were very knowledgeable as well as personable and the appointment itself went by smoothly! I elected to get a retinal scan rather than the traditional eye dilation exam and I personally thought it was worth the extra co-pay due to its ease and quickness. Definitely would recommend this place.
